Construction of RIR The RIR would be using 12.5mm thick Gypsum boards near all the existing walls with suitable air gap encased supported by GI frame work as per IGL's specification or equivalent frame using conventional hardware. The wall treatment shall be backed by these Gypsum/Non reasonating walls to creat accoustical coupling. The frame work is to be adequately anchored in the ceiling and floor.
(ii) Partition wall with accoustical treatment The existing room should be converted into audiology setup by constructing pausing convetional; rtition wall using Gypsum sheets suitably placed at the cavity. The wall consist of opening for connecting door and observation window whenver required. The partition walls will have 150mm thickness with 12.5mm thick Gypsum boards to both sides encased supported by GI framework as per IGL's specifications or equivalent aluminium frame using conventional hardware. The frame work is to be adequately anchored in the wall/floor. Acoustic insulation in partition frame work shall be 100mm thick glaswool/rockwool of designed density tie to the frame forming high frequency absorbers for band extended treatment air gaps should be generated. the entire treatment should be finished to receive paint.
(iii) Wall treatment - PANEL BASED TYPE Existing wall would be accoustically treated panel based acoustical treatment . The panel shall be formed with highest quality RB slab of Rockwool/glasswool of 2\\" (50mm) thickness or equivalent, PHB for acoustical aperture plywood Hardboards, hardware etc as demanded by design for band extended treatment air gaps shall be generated. Entire treatment would be encased supported by framing of plywood using conventional hardware with good acoustical coupling to existing surfaces. Treatment shall consist of variable integrated acoustic characterristics of variable sound absorption forming high frequency & low frequency absorbers. Entire treatment would be acoustically coupled on existing wal using SOUND CLEATS. Brass traps if necessary , brasss traps would be formed at designed corners of the walls to neutralize concertation of low frequencies at the cornrs. This would be formed using plywood and conventional hardware etc. (i) High frequency accoustical treatment using above treatment with panels of size 2 ft x 4 ft having perforated hard boards as surface material provided aocustic aperture and rockwool/glasswool as main acoustic material. Using above treatment with panels of size 2ft x 3 ft having plywood as surface material and rockwool/glass wool with air gaps as main acoustic material
(iv) Ceiling treament with acoustic tile Suspended grid would support ceiling acoustic treatment. The treatment would consist of galvanized iron channel trim fixed at 600mm centre using main tee and cross tee. The special suspension would be provided to suppress the structure born noiset offer good CTC. The entire grid would be suspended using wire hangers at 4 ft/1200mm centre. The high sound absorption treatment would be provided using acoustic tile. These tile would have following properties (i) Noise reduction co-efficient - 0.65 (ii) Celing attenuation clause -4ldb(A) (iii) Size 600mm x600mmx15mm
(v) Sound treated Door - Appx 6'9\\" x 2'9\\" - 02 Nos Doo of desired size would be created using plywood frame. Multilayers of medium would be created using fibre materia plywood air gaps etc. The closing mecanism consists of heavy duty door closed provided on the back side of the door. Copression material having more than 30% compression ratio is provided across the closing edge of the door. Entire good harware shall also be provided for operation. The surface would be covered with black industrial laminate. The suitable door frame is created using 19mm plywood as normally required for ensuring to maintain the acostic parameters. Another flush door is also supplied for supporting this accoustically treated door and to centre sound lock
(vi) Acoustically treated window Appx 3ft x 2ft the breathing window consist of two glass panes (bubble free of vaiable thickness with suitable angle to stave off possibility of resonance and to improve (Tx) traansmission loss. Both are fixed using plywood and compression material having minimum of 30% compression ratio. The glasses are placed aprt and moisture-absorbing chemicals are provided in between to restore good view for long time.
(vii) Flooring Acoustical mat would be provided over the entire surfaces of the flor and extended 6\\" along the skirting. The mat would be pasted using good adhesiv material.
(viii) Painting This includes preaparing the surface if necessary. The entire surface would be painted using putty one coat o oil based primer and two coats of Luxury Emulsion paint.
(ix) Electrical and instrument wiriing ( inside the setup) Electric work consists of providing two numbers of LED and switch boards as desired. The connnections should be made to avoid magnetic interference between audioand electric signals. BERA connection should have specilized grounding to avoid formation of artifacts. Completely pre-wired jack panel would be provided under windo and six to eight jack plugs.
(x) Acoustical correction and consultancy this includes drawing designing, supervision, execution, testing and commissioning of entire acoustic treatment along with electrical equipment to be installed in future for communication. We shall also depute our engineer supervisor at site during the actual installation of project to ensure desired standard quality is met. Note : The accoustical correction shall be made after installation based on actual acoustical measurements taken . The acoustical paramenters are restored after alternation of acoustical treatments. The painting and flooring work will be completed after basic testing and acceptance by the customer.
