Name of Work:- SPECIAL REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT OF BER OCB PANEL WITH VCBs AT SUBSTATIONS AT INS DRONACHARYA UNDER GE FORT KOCHI.

1Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of indoor type floor mounted metal clad,11 KV VCB panel with 10 Nos VCBs, totally enclosed and fully interlocked compatable to SCADA system in future, horizontal drawout, horizontal isolation type breaker as per IS 13118 as amended upto the date and additional specifications, having capacities as mentioned below, single break, trip free mechanism, mannually charged and auto closing breaker suitable for use on 11 KV 3 phase 50 Hz AC supply with short circuit fault level of 350 MVa, complete with self contained, fully inter locked, rack in and rack out mechanism, air insulated but encapsulated copper bus bars of 800 Amps capacity, breaker featured with mechanically ON/OFF indicator with hand trip device, spring release coil, shut trip coil and auxiliary switch of minimum 6 NO+ 6 NC and equipped with following switch gears and accessories i/c connections suitable for 3 x240 Sqmm XLPE 11 KV cable (cable entry from bottom) end termination with heat shrinkable jointing material etc as required complete all as specified and directed.
2(a) Incoming- 2 Nos 1200 amps capacity VCB and bus bar coupler-01 No 1200 Amps capacity VCB. (b) 02 Nos 11 KV/100 Volts PT class 0.5 accuracy and 100 burder with 1 No Voltmeter (0-15KV), digital type, selector switch for voltmeter and protection fuses/MCB for HT metering upto 12 KV on incomer. (c) 02 Nos (0-300 A) dual scale ammeter digital type, selector switches for ammeters. (d) 02 Nos Microprocessor based numerical relay with O/L,E/F and S/C protection (e) 02 Nos Set of dual core dual ratio 3 CTs 300/150/5 A of 15 VA burden and accuracy class -0.5 for metering and class 5P10 for protection. (f) Outgoing-07 Nos VCB (g) 07 Nos (0-100 A) ammeters, dual scale digital type & selector switches for ammeters. (h) Nos 07 Microprocessor based numerical relays with O/L, E/F & S/C protections. (j) Nos 07 Set of dual core dual ratio 3 CTs 100/50/5 of 15 VA burden and accuracy class 1.0 for metering and class 5P10 for protection (k) Along with this supplying, installation, testing and commissioning of power pack with 220 Volt AC input & 24 Volt DC continous output suitable for closing tripping/indication of 10 Nos HT panel boards with 2 Nos 12 Volts each maintanance free batteries of 100 (suitable) AH each, charging unit, capacitor bank for emergency delivering for trip system complete with suitable capaity of Ammeter & Voltmeter i/c connections with 2.5 Sqmm FRLS insulated copper cable ets as required complete all as specified and directed.

5Supply and laying cable XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip of wire armoured, electric power cables (Heavy duty) 11000 Volts grade with stranded aluminimum conductor of size 240 sqmm, 3.0 core UG cable complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge
6Supply and laying cable XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip of wire armoured, electric power cables (Heavy duty) 11000 Volts earthed grade with stranded aluminimum conductor of size 185 sqmm, 3.0 core UG cable complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge
7Excavation in trenches n exc 1.5m wide and n exc 1.5m deep for laying /removing of cable/ erection of poles in soft loose soil complete all as specified and directed by Engr- in- charge.
8M&L for sand cushioning riddle earth in trenches/ducts for protection of UG Cables (below, above and around the UG cable laid) of 23 CM spread thickness (8 CM in depth before laying the cable and 15 CM in depth after laying the cable) and above sand shall be obtained through digging at site 500 mtrs distance and transporting to site for punned use to sand cushioning upto 18 CM thickness complete all as specified and as directed.Note: Thickness of sand cusioning shall be measured after punning.
9Supply and lay sub class \\"B\\" burnt bricks of size 23x11.5x7.5 cm, laid length of brick perpendicular to length of cable complete all as specified and directed.
10Returning filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n exc 25mm thick in soil complete all as specified
11Removing excavated material (Soil) to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above starting point complete all as specified and directed.
12Supplying and making indoor cable end termination with heat shrinkable jointing kit complete with all accessories i/c lugs suitable for following sizes of 3 core 240 Sqmm XLPE Al conductor cable of 11 KV grade as required complete all as specified and directed.
13Supplying and making indoor cable end termination with heat shrinkable jointing kit complete with all accessories i/c lugs suitable for following sizes of 3 core 185 Sqmm XLPE Al conductor cable of 12 KV grade as required complete all as specified and directed.
14Disconnecting and taking down HT UG cable of size 3.0 core 240 Sqmm from the HT panel by shutting down all AC/DC control supply and making all necessary arrangement complete all as specified and directed.
15Disconnecting and taking down HT UG cable of size 3.0 core 185 Sqmm from the HT panel by shutting down all AC/DC control supply and making all necessary arrangement complete all as specified and directed.
16M&L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6mm thick buried directly in ground /earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below the ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m below the normal ground level connected to GI earth strip of 32x6 mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel Gl protection pipe 15mm bore light grade all as shown in electrical plate No 3 on serial page No 497 of SSR part 2009 and connected to main switch board / Main DB's including excavation, earth work, salt and charcoal dust mixed and packed 150mm thick around GI earth plate, Gl pipe medium grade 20mm nominal bore watering pipe GI sheet funnel wire mesh, concrete pit, RCC cover 40mm thick in PCC 1:2:4 type B1 duly reinforced with MS Bars 6mm dia at the rate of 75mm center to center both way with 12mm dia lifting handle and pit / chamber in PCC 1:3:6 type C1, Angle iron 40mmx40mmx3mm frame for pit cover including testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) The rate quoted shall be deemed to be included for main earth lead from earth electrode to test point up to 7.5 m only. (ii) On testing after completion if the desired earth resistance not optained as per IE rules the earthing will be redone by the contractor as directed by Engnr in charge with out any extra cost to Govt.
17Taking down old unserviceable 02 incomings and 07 outgoing, 01 bus coupler VCB panels obtained from item No 1, any location include disconnecting all electric connection and all fittings, CTs, PTs, Relays, OC, SC & EF, battery banks, UPS and charger etc. and make necessary arrangement to deposit the same to the E/M store yard for futher disposal complete all as specified and as directed.
18Taking down old unserviceable 01 incoming and 04 outgoing VCB panels obtained from item No 2, any location include disconnecting all electric connection and all fittings, CTs, PTs, Relays, OC, SC & EF, battery banks, UPS and charger etc. and make necessary arrangement to deposit the same to the E/M store yard for futher disposal complete all as specified and as directed.
