| 1 | Taking down carefully existing unserviceable bitumen felt/ APP membrane including demolition of cement plaster/PCC padding (any number of layers of any thickness of cement plaster or PCC padding ) including demolition of PCC padding etc and removing of the rubbish to a distance not exceeding 500m from the building and depositing complete all as spd and directed. |

| 5 | M&L for water proofing on roof including flashing and junction of parapet, kerb, wall etc as under :-(a) Apply a uniform coat of primer @ 0.70 kg/sqm over cement plaster/ concrete surfaces.(b) Laying 3 mm thick and weighing not less than 3.6 kg/sqm Atactic Polypropylene Polymer (APP) modified bitumen-based prefabricated five layer water proofing membrane reinforced with non woven polyester matt black finished over compatible primer at 0.40 Ltr/sqm of density at 25 degree centigrade 0.87-0.89 kg/litre and viscosity 70-160 cps or cold sticker and torch application of APP membrane shall by torch application . The overlap shall be minimum 150 mm on the transverse direction and 100 mm on the longitudinal directions .(c) Apply two coats of bitumastic-aluminium paint over the membrane @ 0.15 Kg/ Sqm on APP membrane roof surfaces complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed (d ) For vertical surfaces of parapet , wall etc APP membrane shall be tucked into groove and sealed with ewatherproof silicon sealant using gun ( Full width/depth of groove ) Note : (i) Work is to be executed at any height and situation. (ii) Performance Guaranty for Waterproofing shall be minimum 10 Years . |
| 6 | M & L providing and applying the plaster with single component ready to use repair mortar (SMART CARE REPAIR MORTAR or equivalent) and applying 15 mm average thickness in single layer and finishing with trowel with a bond coat SBR polymer and modified cementious bond coat @ 2.2 kg /Sqm of surface area including taking down existing roof treatment of any type and also taking down cement plaster or PCC paddinf of any layer etc brick/concrete surfaces, including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc., to receive further treatment, complete all as specified and as directed. Make: Asian Paints or equivalent in Sikka, Fosroc and STP Ltd. Note : (i) The application shall be executed on any type of surface and on horizontal/Vertical areas. (ii) The work shall be executed through authorised applicator of manufacturer only. (iii) Authrised Applicator shall be approved by GE before starting of work.(iv) All materials shall be procured directly form manufacturer. (v) The purchase voucher shall be produced to the Engineer-in-Charge for his verification of material. |
| 7 | M & L providing and applying Smartcare Dampproof Ultra, a fibre reinforced elastomeric liquid water proofing membrane formulated with reinforcing acrylic fibers having Sun Reflectivity Index (SRI) of 105 on horizontal/vertical surfaces of roof/wall/chajjas in multiple coats @ 2.0 litre/sqm to achieve a seamless waterproofing layer. Primary coat is self-priming coat of elastomeric waterproofing liquid (dilution with water in the ratio of 3:1, damp proof : water) and other coats to be applied undiluted. The coating needs to be reinforced with needle punched non woven Geotextile with minimum weight 50 GSM, to sandwiched between 2nd & 3rd coat of coating. The application shall be carried out after scrapping and properly cleaning the surface with mechanical grinder to remove loose particles dust vegetations etc complete with wire brushes and filling the depressions and cracks with crack seal and crack repair mortar and sealing around the spout pipes GI pipes any size in all respect as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
