| 2 | Laying jointing and testing in trenches HDPE pipe of following diameter and classes as per IS: 4984-1995 grade PE-80 class PN-4.00 and jointing the pipes through push type compression joints by hydraulically operated machine complete with butt (heat) fusion welded joints with necessary fittings such as bends, tees, reducers etc. fabricated in accordance with IS: 8360 and IS: 8008 with latest amendements and shall be provided as per site conditions. The flanging of the pipes shall be made as and where required conforming to IS: code 8008 and 7634, stud ends shall be fussion welded on pipes & flanges shall be provided with slip on covered by epoxy coating / plastic powder. The flanges should be conform to ANSI B 16.5 with necessary nuts and bolts (Earth work in trenches to be measured and paid for separately) in all leads and lifts and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge. |

The laying of pipes conform to IS: 5822-1994 and as per CPHEEO manual and will include all operations such as cutting, welding and jointing including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respect including entire carriage of materials upto all leads and lifts.
