| 1 | Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock/clamp type) on the exterior side of building/structure up to 25 metres above ground level and over asbestos sheet roofing, including additional rows of scaffolding in stepped manner as per requirement of site, made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube, placed 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joint with cup lock/clamp system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for execution of indented works for required duration as approved and removing it thereafter.The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connecting with the building, wherever required, if feasible, for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen, adopting all applicable safety measures/PPEs etc., all complete at all levels as per drawings, specifications, directions and approval of Engineer. Note: (1) The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. (2) The payment will be made once only for this item scope of works for execution of all items of subject work irrespective of duration of scaffolding. |
| 2 | Providing and fixing 6 mm thick asbestos cement north light curves (corrugated) in roofing up to any pitch (as replacement for existing cracked/damaged north light curves) and fixing with GI J hooks or L hooks, bolts and nuts 8 mm dia. GI plain and bitumen washers etc.., complete (excluding the cost of structural steel works), including cutting north light curves to size and shape wherever required, loosening existing roofing sheets, removal of existing cracked/ damaged north light curves and stacking at store, adopting all applicable safety measures/PPEs etc., all complete at all levels as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer. |
| 3 | Providing, fabricating, transporting, erecting and fixing steel structure in position made of angles, channels, flats, pipes, plates, cleats etc., of M/s SAIL/VSP/TATA brand in existing purlins to support 6 mm thick asbestos cement north light curves (corrugated) including nuts, bolts, washers, cutting and welding at site, painting the structure with two or more coats of chlorinated rubber paint of approved manufacture and shade over a coat of zinc chromate red oxide primer, adopting all applicable safety measures/PPEs etc., all complete at all levels as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer. |
