Name of Work:- Repairs to sump room, entrance porch of CSC building, ,providing boreholes in pavement for drainage of rain water into subsoil in BSNL MBM Telephone Exchange compound in Kumbakonam

1Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan) including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift up to 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m. a)All kinds of soil.
2Excavation work by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/ manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5m in width or 10 sqm on plan) including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift up to 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soils as directed, within a lead of 50m. a)Ordinry rock
3Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for :
4a) Suspended floors, roofs, landings, balconies and access platform
5b) Lintels, beams, plinth beams, girders, bressumers and cantilevers
6c) Columns, Pillars, Piers, Abutments, Posts and Struts
7Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete at all floor levels.
8a) Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500 D or more.
9Structural steel work riveted, bolted or welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete.
10Providing and fixing precoated galvanised iron profile sheets (size, shape and pitch of corrugation as approved by Engineer-in-Charge) of total coated thickness 0.50 mm (base metal of minimum 0.45 mm thickness with total coating thickness of 0.05mm) with zinc coating 120 grams per sqm as per IS: 277, in 240 mpa steel grade, 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-18 microns. Sheet should have protective guard film of 25 microns minimum to avoid scratches during transportation and should be supplied in single length upto 12 metre or as desired by Engineer-in-charge. The sheet shall be fixed using self drilling /seIf tapping screws of size (5.5x 55 mm) with EPDM seal, complete upto any pitch in horizontal/ vertical or curved surfaces, excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses and including cutting to size and shape wherever required.
11Finishing walls with Acrylic Smooth exterior paint of required shade :
12a) New work (Two or more coat applied @ 1.67 ltr/10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20 kg/10 sqm).
13White washing with lime to give an even shade : a) Old work (Two or more coats)
14Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade :manufacture of required colour to give an even shade : a) One or more coats on old work
15Demolishing brick work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
16In cement mortar
17Dismantling roofing including ridges, hips, valleys and gutters etc., and stacking the material within 50 metres lead of: a)Asbestos cement sheet
18Disposal of building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials by mechanical means, including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground or as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyond 50 m initial lead, for all leads including all lifts involved.
19Chipping of unsound/weak concrete material from slabs, beams, columns etc. with manual Chisel and/ or by standard power driven percussion type or of approved make including tapering of all edges, making square shoulders of cavities including cleaning the exposed concrete surface and reinforcement with wire brushes etc. and disposal of debris for all lead and lifts all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

23Cleaning of reinforcement from rust from the reinforcing bars to give it a total rust free steel surface by using alkaline chemical rust remover of approved make with paint brush and removing loose particles after 24 hours of its application with wire brush and thoroughly washing with water and allowing it to dry, all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge.
24a) Bars upto 12 mm diameter
25b) Bars above 12 mm diameter
26Providing, mixing and applying bonding coat of approved adhesive on chipped portion of RCC as per specifications and direction of Engineer-In-charge complete in all respect.
27a) SBR Polymer (@10% of cement weight) modified cementitious bond coat @2.2 kg cement per sqm of surface area mixed with specified proportion of approved polymer
28Providing, mixing and applying SBR polymer (of approved make) modified Cement mortar in proportion of 1:4 (1 cement: 4 graded M sand with polymer minimum 2% by wt. of cement used) as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge. Note: Measurement and payment: The pre-measurement of thickness shall be done just after the surface preparation is completed and Payment under this item shall be made only after proper wet curing has been done and surface has been satisfactorily evaluated by sounding / tapping with a blunt metal instrument and/or the 75mm size cube crushing strength at the end of 28 days to be not less than 30 N/ mm2).
29a) 12 mm average thickness
30b) 25 mm average thickness in 2 layers.
31C) 50 mm average thickness in 3 layers.
32Providing, mixing and applying SBR polymer (of approved make @ minimum 2% by wt. of cement used) modified plain/reinforced cement concrete for structural members having minimum characteristic compressive strength [with ordinary portland cement, M sand and graded stone aggregate of 10mm maximum size in proportion as per design criteria] with specified average thickness.Note: Rates shall be for finished surface area of concrete and shall include the cost of labour, concrete and appropriate approved Super-Plasticiser for rendering concrete as flowable and SBR polymer but and but shall exclude cost of reinforcement, bond coat, Shear Keys, centering and shuttering, strutting, propping etc (Payment under this item shall be made only after proper wet curing has been done and surface has been satisfactorily evaluated by sounding/tapping with a blunt metal instrument)
33a) 50mm thick in Grade M 25 with cement content not less than 330 kg per cum
34b) 75mm thick in Grade M 25 with cement content not less than 330 kg per cum
35Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level : 1:4:8 (1 Cement : 4 M sand derived from natural sources : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size derived from natural sources).
36Brick work with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks of class designation 5 in foundation and plinth in: a)Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 M sand)
37Brick work with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks of class designation 5.0 in superstructure above plinth level up to floor II level in all shapes and sizes in :

43Repairs to plaster of thickness 12 mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sq. meters and under, including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing and plastering the surface of the walls complete, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground , all complete as per directions of Engineer-In-Charge.
44a) With cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 M sand).
45Providing Bore holes on ground upto a depth of 20 feet of diameter 200 mm at prefered location , including providing PVC slotted pipes of diameter 150 mm and pressure 6 kg/sqcm of approved make and quality in boreholes, filing the gap between pipe and boreholes with rubble stones upto the ground level etc complete as directed by Engineer -in -charge.
46Shifting of store materials below staircase to other location inside the building and after laying of cc flooring again placing the stores in the same place.
47Cleaning the entire terrace (CSC building),khurras,porches top including removal of plants if any and disposal of rubbishes etc complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
48Cutting tree branches that fall closer to the building (CSC building) and other structures including disposal of the unserviseables from the compound.
49Supplying and filling brick bats around the bore chamber for smooth passage of rain water.
50Providing and fixing weld mesh in position in brick wall before plastering/repairing the surface as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
