The laying of pipe shall include all operations such as cutting, edge preparation, welding, jointing, fabrication of bends, tees etc., including lowering and laying in excavated trenches to ensure required line and level, including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing, complete in all respects to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge. The fabricated bends shall have three or four cuts having a radius not less than five times the diameter of pipe. The pipes shall be provided with suitable anti-corrosive protection (as per approved specifications). Welding electrodes shall conform to IS: 814 of approved make such as Advani Oerlikon / L&T or equivalent ISI marked. The rates shall include carriage of all materials to site of work, loading/unloading, all leads and lifts, flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
