| 1 | To perform under term contract such works/services and to execute such works as per the terms and conditions contained in the tender document or refered to the \\"MES standard schedule of rates 2009 Part-I specification and MES standard schedule rates 2020 part-II rates together with erratas/amendments as applicable and as may be demanded and are enumerated in the aforesaid standard schedule of rates during the period of 1(one) year from the date of acceptance of contract at the rates con-tained in the aforesaid MES standard schedule of rates by adding / deducting the percentage shown in this BOQ or at such other rates as may be fixed under the provision of condition 62 of general condition of cotracts (IAFW-2249) 1989 print with errata/amendments as applicable. |
| 2 | Note for Item No. 1.00: (i) Tenderer shall insert the percentage in this BOQ after selecting the option for excess ( +) or less (-) available at the Row E of this BOQ to quote the percentage above / below MES standard schedule of rates 2020. (ii) Amount inserted by MES under the rate column and the total estimated cost reflected in this BOQ is the cost at par SSR and is for guidance only. Similarly the quoted amount shall also be treated as approximate. The acceptance of contractor's offer shall be done for the quoted percentage rate above/below MES standard schedule of rates 2020. The work order for various works/services will be placed for amount worked out /priced on the rate contained in MES schedule Part-II adjusted by the percentage quoted by the tenderer as per terms of condition 4 A of General condition of contract (IAFW-2249). (iii) The tenderer shall note that the amount of total works/services required to be done under this contract can vary to any extent irrespective of the amount mentioned in this BOQ and the contractor shall be bound to execute all such works/services ordered during the period of contract at the rate contained in MES schedule 2020 Part-II duly sdjusted by quoted percentage.
