23Laying and compacting 100mm thick (compacted thickness) Granular Sub Base Course (GSB) arading as per Grade V as specified Table 400-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works, 2013, in a single layer over compacted subgrade with natural sand, crushed gravel, crushed stone, crushed slag or combination thereof as per the grading required The materials are mechanically mixed, spread and leveling on the subgrade by using motor grader of adequate capacity, and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static weight for achieving required compaction density of atleast 98% of the Maximum Dry Density Consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed with finished surface tolerances as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works, 2013 complete all as specified and directed.
24Laying and compacting 75mm thick (compacted thickness) Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) grading as per table 400-13 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013 manufactured in WMM plant, material comprising of clean, crushed, graded aggregate and granular material premixed with water to a dense mass, spreading with sensor paver and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100KN static weight and consolidating to required gracdient and camber, finished surface tolerances to be as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013, complete all as specified and directed.
25Providing and Laying Dry lean Concrete (DLC) of 100mm thick of aggregate gradation as per Table 1 of SP 49 2014 having 7 day average compressive strength not less than 7MPa content not less than 140 Kg/Cum DLC mixed in minimum cement Batching Plant, transported to site and laid by electronic sensor paver including spreading and compacting usign high amplitude tamping bars of paver (initial compaction) further by double drum smooth wheeled vibratory rollers with 80-100 KN static weight to achieve minimum dry density not less than 98% of maximum Dry Density, necessary finishing etc; tolerances to be as per Table 900-1 of MoRT complete all as specified and directed.

30Cutting of construction joints 25 mm deep and 10 mm wide using high RPM diamond bit cutter, cleaning of surface and filling with closed cell, medium density cross linked polyethylene backup rod of 12 mm dia, application of bond breaker tape on top of back up rod for complete width of the joint, priming top 15 mm with approved primer, applying masking tape on edges of joints to prevent accidental spillage of sealant and filling with polyurethane based sealant complying with BS- 5212,BS-4254 and EN 141875-2003 and removing the masking tape after filling of sealant and as specified and as per the method specified by the manufacturer, complete all as specified and as directed. Before the adjoining bay is laid. The joint sealing shall be carried out by original approved applicator with sealant having 10 year performance guarantee. Work shall be carried out under recommended temperature conditions specified by the sealant manufacturer. Top level of joint sealant should be as per application temperature conditions and season to avoid sealant extrusion/ failur, complete all as specified and directed.
