1Taking down cement or lime plaster of any description on brick or stone walls etc including racking out joints hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc from ground floor complete all as specified and as directed.Note :Cost of scafolding for taking down is deemed to be incuded in this item.
2M & L for rendering 5mm thick in cement plaster 1:3 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces as in ceilings complete all as specified.
3M & L for rendering 15mm thick on oher than fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces (Cement plaster 1:6) finished even and fair without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed
4M&L for 15mm thick rendering CM 1:4 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces finished even and fair without using extra cement for height exc. 3 m and not exc 15m from ground level complete all as specified and directed (Note: Rate included fir necessary scaffolding and arrangements for working)
5M&L for 15mm thick rendering CM 1:4 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces finished even and fair without using extra cement for height n.exc 3 metre from ground level complete all as specified and directed. Note :Cost of scafolding for taking down is deemed to be incuded in this item.
6M & L for preparing new surfaces of ceiling, plastered or unplastered and applying 3 coats of white wash to ceilings all as specified and as directed.
7M&L for preparation of new plastered surface and applying two coat of distemper oil emulsion after preparation of wall surface applying with 2mm thick in two layer wall Putty all as specified and directed.
8M&L for preparation of newly plastered or unplastered surfaces of walls and applying two coat of cement base paint on external wall surfaces complete all as specified in SSR Part I and directed.
9Complete removal of existing treatment by brooming down or steel wire brushing; scrapping down smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts and trading oil and greasy spots incl washing , rubbing down and stopping of distempered or painted surfaces and M&L for applying concrete primer and /or cement base putty as required incl preparing the surfaces smooth by rubbing and / or sandpapering and M&L one coats of cement base paint on old treated surfaces of walls complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.
10Complete removal of existing treatment by brooming down or steel wire brushing; scrapping down smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts and trading oil and greasy spots incl washing , rubbing down and stopping of distempered or painted surfaces and M&L for applying concrete primer and or cement base putty as required incl preparing the surfaces smooth by rubbing and / or sandpapering and M&L two coats of cement base paint on old treated surfaces of walls complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.
11Complete removal of existing treatment by brooming down or steel wire brushing; scrapping down smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts and trading oil and greasy spots incl washing , rubbing down and stopping of distempered or painted surfaces and M&L for applying chalk whitening/ concrete primer and /or cement base putty as required incl preparing the surfaces smooth by rubbing and / or sandpapering and M&L two coats of Distemper oil Emulsion on old treated surfaces of walls complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.
12M&L for complete removal of existing treatment, and applying 1 to 1.5mm thick wall care putty on wall surfaces even and smooth complete all as specified and directed.
13M&L for preparation of old decorated plastered or unplastered surfaces of walls and applying one coat of distemper oil emulsion using roller complete all as specified and directed.
14M & L applying two coat of white wash on old decorated or undecorated ceiling surfaces including preperation of surfaces, complete all as specified.
15M&L for complete removal of existing treatment, preparation of old decorated plastered or unplastered surfaces of walls / roof projections including facia,cornices etc. and applying two coat of white putty and applying one coat of primer by using Airless spray techonology with max working pressure of 3300 PPSI and capable of operating single spray gun with a max material hose length of 30 mtr, the spray machine should be of reputed manufacturer with pro guard technology and capability of tracking pressue and paint usage and certified by paint manufacturer and accessories for applying Primer, should be able to spray in hard to reach areas and penetration of Primer, on the surface to achieve excllent application using limited manpower complete all as specified and directed. Note : - Sanding of old decorated surface to be done by mechanical sander with 1500 - 2700 rpm, with internal dust extraction system for clean environment certified by paint manufacturer.
16M&L for applying two coats of exterior weather proof acrylic based anti-fungal paint (100% acrylic) smooth emulsion with silicon additives that offer anti alge high performance exterior wall finish with 6 years of performance warranty by manufacturer applied by using Airless spray technology with max working pressure of 3300 PPSI and capable of operating single spray gun with a max material hose length of 30 mtr the spray machine should be of reputed manufacture with pro guard technology and capability of tracking pressure and paint usage and certified by paint manufacturer and accessories for applying Paint, should be able to spray in hard to reach areas and penetration of Paint on the surface to achieve excellent application using limited manpower complete all as specified and directed.
17M & L for preparation of old painted wooden surface of any description, not otherwise described over 10cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint (any tint/shade) complete all as specified and directed
18M & L for one coat of synthetic enamel paint (any tint/shade) including preparation of old decorated steel surfaces of any description over 10 Cm width or girth not otherwise described complete all as specified and directed.
19M&L applying two coats of Apex paint over a coat of primer on old decorated or undecorated Roof/Wall surfaces/jaffery including preparation by brooming down or steel wire brushing, scrapping down, brushing, washing rubbing down and stoping of distempered and painted surfaces, complete all as specified and directed.
20M & L for cutting chases of hanging chajjas, pinning in, making good to facings where required and pointing in cement mortar 1:3 to ends or edges of sunshades, shelves, lintels, Chajja ( up to IInd floor) etc making good, cutting out exc 10cm and not exc 40cm girth in RCC chajjas upto height not exc 12m from ground level in brick walls complete all as specified and as directed.Note :Cost of scafolding for taking down is deemed to be incuded in this item
21M&L preparing old painted surface of plastered or cement concrete (inter locking or chequered tile CURVE STONE) surface and applying one coat of plastic emulsion complete all as specified and as directed.
22M&L for writing letters or figures etc ( block, Roman, Italic or indian) n.exc 30 CM high with paint to match existing work complete all as specified.
23S&F in repair 10 mm thick PVC board for marking of quarter/ bldg numbers including writing letters, figures, stops, commas, dashes, hypen, brackets etc with all necessary fittings complete all as specified and directed. Note-Design, colour, size of boards and letters shall be approved by GE.
24M&L for carrying out repair dammaged RCC projections,chajja facia, roof projection facia, etc in the following stages -(i) Demolition of existings dammaged RCC projection,chajja facia, roof projection facia, Staircase and similar suspended work and (reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition).(ii) Preparation of existing demolised portion by scrapping, cutting, chiseling, derusting and cleaning exposed reinforcement, surfaces of damaged, loose RCC and providing cement concrete (1:1.5:3) using 12.5 mm graded crushed stone aggregate including necessary form work and reinforced with low carbon annealed wire in hexagonal shape 1.0mm diametre chicken wire mesh of size 25mm complete.(iii) Applying 1st coat rendering of 10mm thick in CM (1:3) over demolished concrete facia/projection surfaces and allow to dry 6-8 Hrs and cured with gunny jute bag. (iv) Applying finished coat of 10mm thick rendering in CM 1:4 using 100% coarse sand over 1st coat rendered surfaces and finished surface even and smooth with using extra cement and mixed with 3% integral water proofing compound and making drip mouldings as reqiured and cured with jute gunny bag for 7 days,complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.. (v) Preparation of surface and applying two coats of weather coat paint over a coat of exterior wall care putty to match existing surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.The rates quoted by the bidders/Contractor shall include the following:-(a) Work carried out up to 12 Mtr in height.(b) Use of Scaffolding, trestles, ladders, cradles etc necessary for execution of work and all protective measures responsibilty.(c) Removal of excavated material n exc. 50m and depositing where directed by Engr-in Charge.
25The following Notes for internal and external wall finishes and painting :-(a) The work pertaining to periodical services and water proofing shall be executed from authorised applicator through manufacturer of which the materials i.e Paint, Distermper, Cement base paint, Putty etc is proposed to be used by the contractor and approved by Garrison Engineer.(b) The contractor shall upload along with the documents under cover-1 \\" Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with only one manufacturer in the contract, failing which the bid shall be liable to be rejected\\". Make Apex Ultima/Berger weather coat glow or equivalent as approved by GE.(c) Contractor shall use mechanized sanding tools for complete removal and surface preparation by Air Spray machine Trucare-graco-utramax-490-pc-pro approved by Engr-in-Charge.(d) The contractor shall first prepare Sample Quarter for entire CA by doing in presence of company Rep and approver by GE.
