Name of Work:- Provision of Emergency Access Road from Runway 07 & 25 to Emergency Access Gate i/c Construction of New Emergency Access Gate at RWY 25 end at D.A.B.H. Airport Indore.

1Earthwork in excavation in all kinds of soil with hydraulic excavator of 0.9 cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, trimiming bottom and side slopes in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections and transporting to embankment location with all lifts and leads within airport premises as per satisfaction and direction of Engineer-In-Charge.
2Supplying and filling moorum/suitable earth obtained from approved quarry in embankment or depressions in layers not exceeding 20cm (loose) in depth (or any thickness as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge including breaking clods, watering, consolidating each layer with power road roller 8-10 tonnes weight or vibratory roller under optimum moisture content condition to give at least 98% of the maximum laboratory dry density (modified proctor density) as per IS code 2720 (part VIII) complete including leveling fine dressing to the required grade, camber and slope complete as per MORTH specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge with all leads and lifts (The item includes cost of work, payment of necessary royalty, carriage of moorum / suitable earth upto work site for all leads and lifts involved from all sources acquired or arranged by the Contractor. Payment to be made for compacted quantity only).
3Filling Available excavated earth in Basic Strip / Runway Strip or anywhere inside airport premises in operational / non-operational area As per the direction of E-I-C including all leads / lifts & transportation etc. complete in embankment or depressions in accordance with requirements of lines , grades and in cross section in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth consolidating each deposit layer by ramming and every third top most layer with 8-10 tonne vibratory roller etc. complete as per direction and satisfaction of Engineer Incharge. Payment to be made for compacted qunantity only.
4Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)
5Construction of granular sub-base by providing close graded Material conforming to specifications, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material by tippers to work site, for all leads & lifts, spreading in uniform layers of specified thickness with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. With material conforming to Grade-II (size range 53 mm to 0.075 mm ) having CBR Value-25
6Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate (size range 53 mm to 0.075 mm) to wet mix macadam (WMM) specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in for all leads & lifts, laying in uniform layers with mechanical paver finisher in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller of 8 to 10 tonne capacity to achieve the desired density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.
7Providing and laying of Hot Mix Dense bituminous macadam (DBM) using crushed stone aggregate of quality, size and grading as specified and Cement filler of quality as specified and Viscosity Grade Bitumen (supplied in bulk) in proportions as per job mix formula and laid to specified levels, grade and camber as per specification, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in charge including compacting with 8-10 tonne, preferably vibratory road roller of adequate capacity to achieve the specified values of compaction, strength, surface accuracy complete [for tendering purpose VG bitumen of grade VG-30 Content shall be taken as 110 kg/m3 of mix supplied in bulk produced by Govt. Refineries and 2% Cement by weight aggregates as filler material].
8Providing and laying of Hot Mix Semi Dense Asphaltic concrete (SDAC) using crushed stone aggregate of quality, size and grading as specified and Cement filler of quality as specified and Viscosity Grade Bitumen (supplied in bulk) in proportions as per job mix formula laid to specified levels, grade and camber as per specification, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in charge including compacting with 8-10 tonne, preferably vibratory road roller of adequate capacity to achieve the specified values of compaction, strength, surface, accuracy complete [for tendering purpose VG bitumen of grade (VG-30) Content shall be taken as 120 kg/m3 of mix supplied in bulk produced by Govt. Refineries and 2% Cement by weight aggregates as filler material].
9Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion SS1 grade conforming to IS:8887 on prepared surface of Granular Base including clearing of surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70 kg/sqm using mechanical means complete in all respects as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge. The contractor shall quote his rates assuming quantity of bitumen emulsion as 0.70 Kg/Sqm. If the actual quantity of bitumen emulsion varies from the quantity assumed above, necessary cost adjustment for deviation in the quantity of bitumen emulsion shall be done as per rate in actual supply voucher from nearest refinery at the time of execution. The rate of bitumen emulsion exclusive of GST shall only be considered for payment.
10Providing and applying tack coat using bitumen emulsion (Rapid setting) complying with IS:8887, spraying the bitumen with mechanically operated spray unit at the rate specified below, cleaning and preparing the existing pavement surface as per specifications complete in all respects as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge. If the actual quantity of bitumen varies from the quantity specified, necessary cost adjustment for deviation in the quantity of bitumen shall be done as per rate in actual supply voucher from nearest refinery at the time of execution. The rate of bitumen exclusive of GST shall only be considered for payment.0.20 Kg/Sqm on existing bituminous surface
11Painting road surface marking with adequate nos of coats to give uniform finish with ready mixed road marking paint conforming to IS: 164, on bituminous surface in white/yellow shade, including cleaning the surface of all dirt, scales, oil, grease and foreign material etc. complete.New work (Two or more coats)
12Demolishing stone rubble masonry manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge :b) In cement mortar
13Demolishing cement concrete manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in - charge.a)Nominal Concrete 1:3:6 or Richer mix (i/c equivalent design mix)
14Dismantling of flexible pavement (bituminous courses) by mechanical means and disposal of dismantled material up to a lead of 1 kilometre, as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

37Taking out existing CC interlocking paver blocks from footpath/ central verge, including removal of rubbish etc., disposal of unserviceable material to the dumping ground, for which payment shall be made separately and stacking of serviceable material within 50 metre lead as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
38Brick work with Fly Ash bricks conforming to IS:12894, locally available size bricks of class designation 7.5 in foundation and plinth in;Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand).
39Dismantling concertina coil fencing with required dia 610 mm (having 15 nos. round per 6 metre length) upto 3m height of wall with existing angle iron \\"Y\\" shaped placed at 2.4 m or 3.00 m apart and with 9 horizontal R.B.T. stud tied with G.I. staples & G.I. clips to retain horizontal including necessary bolts or G.I. barbed wire tied to angle iron all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge with reinforced barbed tape (R.B.T) / Spring core (2.5 mm thick) wire.
40Deduct for taking away of steel work in frames, shutters, trusses, channels, beams, Tee, angles, bolts, washers, Reinforcement steel etc. and the like received from dismantling.
