1Water proofing treatment on the roof top of Guest House, Sub Divisional office and some portion of Chief Office inside the premises of Machinery Division Jammu by way of cleaning the surface with wire brush to make the surface free from all loose particles, dust etc and then washing thoroughly with water. All cracks joint edges must be cleaned and free from oil, dust, dirt and other foreign material if any. The surface must be dried before applying the treatment. Polyethylene wicks must be used for filling to avoid adhesion of sealant to the bottom of edges. For wider joints more than 15 mm deep and wide, the chemical will be applied and left for twenty four hours for hardening. For cracks less than 15 mm thick elastomeric polymer based crack filling compound is used and cured for seven days.a) Applying first coat of acrylic based polymer over the surface as primer with fiber mesh of 10 mm x 10 mm mill and the surface should be kept untouched for one day.b) Applying the second coat of acrylic polymer over the first coat of and the surface should be kept untouched for 4-5 hours. Then applying third coat on the second coat and the surface should be kept untouched for 4 hours.c) Applying fourth coat of elastomeric waterproofing coating over the surface as primer to be mixed with water in the ratio of 1:2 and kept untouched for 4 hours.d) Applying fifth coat of elastomeric waterproofing coating. High quality waterproofing membrane over the fourth coat in the same manner and letting it to dry for 08 hours.e) Applying sixth coat of elastomeric waterproofing coating. High quality waterproofing membrane over the fifth coat in the same manner and letting it to dry for 08 hours.The appearance of the final surface is in the milky white color. The complete job includes all labor charges, material, transportation charges and other allied material/equipment used to execute the job.Area=1000ft2
2VITRIFIED FLOOR TILESProviding and laying vitrified floor tiles in different sizes (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to IS:15622 of approved make, in all colours and shades, laid on 20mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1cement :4 coarse sand) including grouting the joints with white cement and matching pigments etc. complete Size of tile 600x600 mmRoomKitchenVerandaTotal Area = 51.49 m2
