4M&L for PCC 1:2:4, type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in roof kerbs or mud stops, rounded or chamfered on edges, base of over head tank, roof padding and similar work including all necessary formwork if necessary complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
5Supply only liquid integral water proofing compound, ISI Marked, complete all as specified.
6Material and labour for waterproofing treatment to roof complete in the following stages :- (a) SURFACE PREPARATION: Cleaning top surface of roof/ RCC slab using electric wire cup grinder to remove surface imperfections, sharp edges or protrusions at the junctions to achieve a uniform surface profile. Cleaning thoroughly the concrete surface using a high-pressure water jet to eliminate all dirt, dust, oil spillage, laitance, and other contaminants. (b) SURFACE CRACK REPAIR: Cracks on top surface/ RCC slab wider than 1 mm required to be cut and open in V-groove manner (8 mm wide x 6 mm deep) by using mechanical cutter, clean the same and fill with high modulus, moisture curing, silyl modified polymer (hybrid) sealant and allow sealant to air cure for 3 days
7(c) ANGLE FILLET TREATMENT: Providing and preparing angle fillet at all vertical up stands and junctions/ corners. Moist the surface with water, apply bond coat prepared by mixing universal repair polymer (URP) and cement in 1:1 ratio by volume and apply using brush, preparing PMM by mixing 1 kg of URP, 5 kg fresh cement and 15 kg graded quartz sand, (i.e. in the ratio of 1:5:15 and preparing angle fillet (gola) of size 50 mm x 50 mm over the wet bond coat and finishing the same followed by moist curing the surface for 48-72 hours complete
8(d) RAINWATER OUTLET TREATMENT: Hacking and chipping the surface around the rainwater drain outlet up to 25 mm in depth, applying bond coat of universal repair polymer (URP), in ratio of 1:1 (URP 1 : cement 1) by volume, over the corners and pipe insert outlet gaps, filling the gaps around drain mouth with PMM (Polymer Modified Mortar), mixed with universal repair polymer (URP) 10% by weight of cement, in the ratio 1:3. Providing and fixing 100 mm width, 225 GSM, fiber glass chopped strand mat around the periphery of drain mouth of rainwater outlet, sandwiched with two-component UV resistant hybrid urethane elastomeric waterproof top coat. Applying two thick coats of two-component UV resistant hybrid urethane elastomeric waterproof coating to completely cover the mesh/ fabric and surrounding area. (e) WATERPROOFING APPLICATION: Preparing premix of two-component high-strength hybrid urethane elastomeric waterproofing coating using an electric double paddle mixer at low speed for 2-3 minutes until a uniform blend is achieved without dilution. Applying the waterproofing coating on an SSD (Saturated Surface dry) condition, apply first coat mix at the rate 0.8-0.9 kg/sqm using a lamb's wool roller
9Contd.. While the coating is still wet, roll and embed a 225 gm fiberglass chopped strand mat ensuring full bonding without air bubbles or wrinkles and overlap joints by at least 5 cm at end points & allow the first coat to dry for 3-4 hours. Applying the second coat at 90 degrees angle to the first coat at 0.9 kg/sqm once the surface is dry enough to walk on. Additional coats may be applied as required to achieve a forced material consumption to obtain a DFT of 1000 to 1200 microns with minimum material consumption of 1.8 kg/sqm over 2-3 undiluted coats. The coating should terminate below the drip mold on vertical surface. The system complies achieving tensile strength 215 N/mm2 (ASTM D2370 : 2016), Tear strength 2100 N/mm2 (as per ASTM D624), Dynamic crack bridging (EN 13251 : 2016), Shore A hardness: 85, zero water permeability: at 15 bar as per (EN 12390-8: 2019), passes water migration resistance: no leakage, no temperature flexibility: (-) 20 degree Celsius after 1000 hours, UV (ASTM D1970 : 2021), Solar reflectance index : 90 (ASTM E1980 for white), Peel adhesion to concrete (wet condition, 24 hours.), ASTM C794-12, root resistance according to CEN/TS14416-2014 complete all as specified.
10Providing and laying non-woven geotextile membrane of minimum 100 GSM, laid loosely over the completed waterproofing membrane including all necessary cutting, alignment, and positioning, with minimum 100 mm overlap at all joints, complete in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications and directions as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge
11Repair of damaged roof screed and formation of slope Removing all loose, damaged, and deteriorated concrete/screed from the roof surface in required pockets using mechanical cutters and suitable tools. Clean the prepared surface thoroughly with high-pressure water jetting to remove dust, dirt, laitance and all loose particles. Applying a bonding coat comprising Universal Repair Polymer (URP) mixed with cement in the ratio of 1:1 by volume to form a lump-free slurry. The bonding coat shall be applied uniformly on the pre-wetted substrate immediately before placing the repair mortar/concrete,
12contd.. laying roof screed to the required slopes and gradients using M20 grade polymer-modified concrete/mortar prepared in the proportion of 1 : 1.5 : 3 (cement : sand : coarse aggregate). Universal Repair Polymer shall be added at 10% by weight of cement. Placing, compacting, levelling and finishing the screed to the required line, level, and gradient using suitable trowels and finishing tools. The repaired surface shall be kept continuously moist and cured for 7 days, followed by air curing for 4-5 days or as recommended by the manufacturer before application of the waterproofing system. The work shall be carried out complete in all respects in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications and the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
13Note for Srl item No. 01 to 08: 1. The work shall be carried out to Building Height upto 12 metres. Necessary arrangement for carrying out the work including labour, equipment, scaffolding, safety appliances transportation of materials shall be provided by the contractor within overall rate quoted against the items of this schedule and no claim whatsover shall be admissible on this account at later stage. Contractors are requested to quote their rates accordingly keeping this aspect in mind.2. The work pertaining to water proofing treatment shall be executed as per MoU between contractor and manufacturer of waterproofing material as per MoU performa attached at Serial page No. 155 to 161. Authorized applicator of the company with trained/ skilled worker will only be allowed to execute the work and the applicator will submit the authorization and experience certificate from the company. 3. The Contractor shall upload with the documents under cover I \\"Memoradum of Understanding\\" (MoU) with at least one of the manufacturers (Pidilite/ Fosroc/ Asian paints/ Sika/ STP) failing which the bid shall not be opened and shall be liable to rejected
144. The entire quantity of material will be calculated and brought on site as decided by Engineer-in-Charge and will be accepted only post-verification of PVs and challan from company through mail. 5. Material will be kept in the custody of MES rep and will be issued to the authorized applicator as per requirement. 6. Each stage will be properly executed under supervision of company rep and stage passing register will be properly maintained. 7. The contractors shall submit manufacturer generated 10 years warranty card during submission of final bill
158. A guarantee amount @10% against water proofing treatment will be kept as a reserve till completion of warranty period and will be released thereafter.9. Any deterioration during warranty period will be rectified by the contractor from the manufacturer with whom the MoU is signed, without any financial effect. 10. Ponding tests shall be carried out for 72 hours after completion of roof treatment and ponding shall be done by applicator with company technical rep as per manufacturer's instructions and finally passed as directed by Engineer-in-Charge/GE.
16Demolition of brickwork or stone boulder masonary, built in cement mortar including all quions, arches, pillars etc., but excluding ashlar facings including removing debris from the site complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
17Material and labour for brickwork with Fly Ash bricks (old size bricks), class designation 75, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 metre mean radius, built in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
18M&L for Brick work using sub class 'B' bricks (old size bricks), straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 metre mean radius built in cement mortar 1:6, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
19M&L for plain cement concrete type 1:2:4, type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate), as in copings and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles & throating as directed including necessary form work as required complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
20Demolition of stone slabs and tiles of any description or thickness in floors, aprons Laid, bedded and pointed in any mortar etc., complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
21M&L for 18-20 mm thick Granite (of any type) work (table rubbed and polished) in steps, jambs, pillars, window cills, cooking platforms and like in cement mortar (1:4) including pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigment to match with shade of granite over and including 15 mm thick screed bed or bedding layer in cement mortar 1:4 all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
22Extra over Granite or marble slabs as in rounding to edges of stone slabs one edge, such as in steps, cooking platform, and other similar situations etc., complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
23M&L for Machine cut Kota stone slab flooring 20-25 mm thick over cement screed base laid and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab including rubbing and polishing over and including 15 mm thick bedding in cement mortar 1:6 and pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigment to match the colour of tiles etc., complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
