(a) Prime the prepared surface with one of the following product mixed with cement in 1:1 ratio as bonding agent : - (i) Pidicrete URP of M/S Pidilite. (ii) Sika Latex of M/S Sika. (iii) Nitobond SBR Latex of M/S FOSROC.(b) Immediately after priming the surface PMM (Polymer Modified Mortar) to be applied “BY HAND” while the prime is tacky. PMM should be prepared by mixing one of the following compounds in Cement Mortar 1:3 as per manufacturer’s instructions: - (i) Pidicrete URP of M/S Pidilite. (ii) Sika Latex of M/S Sika. (iii) Nitobond SBR Latex of M/S FOSROC.(c) PMM surface should be allowed to dry for one day. After that it should painted with two coats of one of the following compound mixed with cement only in ratio of 1 (selected compound) : 1:5 (Cement) : - (i) Pidicrete URP of M/S Pidilite. (ii) Sika Latex of M/S Sika. (iii) Nitobond SBR Latex of M/S FOSROC.(d) Now apply two coats of one of the following compound over the surface. These compounds are to be used as per manufacturer’s instructions: - (i) Pidifin 2K of M/S Pidilite (ii) Brush Coat of M/S Sika.(iii) Brush Bond of M/S FOSROC. NOTES : (a) The efflorescence treatment shall be carried out by the manufacturer or his authorised representative only.
