3Design, fabrication, factory testing, supply, unloading at site, erection, site testing, and commissioning of the Raw Water Storage Tank (RWST) - 75 kl - Mild Steel, including foundation bolts, grouting, and any other items necessary for complete installation and operation, as per site conditions and conforming to the technical requirements specified in Section B1.1. The scope also includes documentation and final acceptance in accordance with Sections C and D of NIT – PART B.
4Design, fabrication, factory testing, supply, unloading at site, erection, site testing, and commissioning of Raw Water Pumps (RWPs), including baseplates, couplings, alignment, foundation bolts, grouting, and any other items necessary for complete installation and operation, as per site conditions and in conformity with the technical requirements specified in Section B1.2. The scope also includes trial operation, performance guarantee (PG) testing, documentation, and final acceptance in accordance with Sections C and D of NIT – PART B.
5Design, fabrication, factory testing, supply, unloading at site, erection, site testing, and commissioning of the Bulk Acid Storage Tank (BACST) - 25 kl - XLPE, including foundation bolts, grouting, and any other items necessary for complete installation and operation, as per site conditions and conforming to the technical requirements specified in Section B1.21. The scope also includes documentation and final acceptance in accordance with Sections C and D of NIT – PART B.
6Design, fabrication, factory testing, supply, unloading at site, erection, site testing, and commissioning of the Bulk Alkali Storage Tank (BALST) - 25 kl - XLPE, including foundation bolts, grouting, and any other items necessary for complete installation and operation, as per site conditions and conforming to the technical requirements specified in Section B1.22. The scope also includes documentation and final acceptance in accordance with Sections C and D of NIT – PART B.
7Design, fabrication, factory testing, supply, unloading at site, erection, site testing, and commissioning of Acid Unloading Pumps (ACUP) - 200 LPM - 10 MLC - PVDF, including baseplates, couplings, alignment, foundation bolts, grouting, and any other items necessary for complete installation and operation, as per site conditions and in conformity with the technical requirements specified in Section B1.23. The scope also includes trial operation, performance guarantee (PG) testing, documentation, and final acceptance in accordance with Sections C and D of NIT – PART B.
8Design, fabrication, factory testing, supply, unloading at site, erection, site testing, and commissioning of Alkali Unloading Pumps (ALUP) - 200 LPM - 10 MLC - PVDF, including baseplates, couplings, alignment, foundations, foundation bolts, grouting, and any other items necessary for complete installation and operation, as per site conditions and in conformity with the technical requirements specified in Section B1.24. The scope also includes trial operation, performance guarantee (PG) testing, documentation, and final acceptance in accordance with Sections C and D of NIT – PART B.
9Design, fabrication, factory testing, supply, unloading at site, erection, site testing, and commissioning of the DM Water Storage Tank (DMWST) - 75 kl - SS 304, including foundation bolts, grouting, and any other items necessary for complete installation and operation, as per site conditions and conforming to the technical requirements specified in Section B1.25. The scope also includes documentation and final acceptance in accordance with Sections C and D of NIT – PART B.
10Design, fabrication, factory testing, supply, unloading at site, erection, site testing, and commissioning of DM Water Supply Pumps (DMWSPs) - 50 m3/h - 40 MLC - SS 316, including baseplates, couplings, alignment, foundation bolts, grouting, and any other items necessary for complete installation and operation, as per site conditions and in conformity with the technical requirements specified in Section B1.26. The scope also includes trial operation, performance guarantee (PG) testing, documentation, and final acceptance in accordance with Sections C and D of NIT – PART B.
11Design, supply, erection, fabrication, testing, and commissioning of DM plant associated piping, valves, and fittings, including Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, and CPVC piping of all grades and sizes; valves and strainers of all types and sizes; flanges, gaskets, nuts, and bolts as required for complete installation; and painting of pipelines. The scope also includes all necessary supports, accessories, and consumables required to ensure proper operation of the system, as per site conditions and conforming to the technical requirements specified in Section B1.28 of NIT – PART B.

24ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS AS SPECIFIED IN SECTION B2 OF CHAPTER NIT-PART B
25Design, engineering, supply, installation, testing & commissioning of Motor Control Centre (MCC) Panel. The panel shall include all internal wiring, inter-panel cabling, mounting accessories, termination hardware, nameplates, safety features, and associated local control stations. The MCC panel shall be metal-enclosed, dust and vermin proof (minimum IP54), with compartmentalized construction (Form-4B) and a short circuit withstand capacity of 50 kA for 1 second. It shall operate on 415V, 3-phase, 4-wire, 50 Hz AC supply. Digital multi function meter with facility to indicate all the 3 line voltages, currents, power, energy to be connected on bus side with necessary CTs, fuses, including Class 0.5S with RS485 for SCADA compatability and analog voltmeter and ammeter with selector switches for monitoring on each phase etc.415V, 1000A, 50 kA for 1 Sec switch board with following feeders as per datasheet and tender specification.The panel shall be complete with ACBs, MCCBs, SFUs, motor starters, Remote/Local/Panel selection provision,MPR, On/ Off push buttons, Totaliser meter, ammeter with selector switches for monitoring on each phase current and On/ Off/ Trip LED indication lamps :, measuring instruments, communication-enabled devices, auxiliary busbars, panel lighting, space heaters, earthing system, and control terminals. All wiring, protection, and control components shall comply with relevant IS/IEC standards. The panel shall be painted with epoxy-based or powder coating in RAL 7032 shade. This includes all work necessary to make the MCC panel fully functional and safe for use, as per Section B2.1 and as instructed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: The 1000A rating is indicative; however the actual busbar and incomer rating shall be finalized by the vendor based on the approved design and load list of the DM plant without any extra commercial implications.
26Design, Supply, laying, termination, testing, and commissioning of power and control cables, XLPE/PVC insulated, armored, and sheathed as per IS/IEC standards. Cables shall be suitable for trays, trenches, conduits, and underground use, with resistance to UV, rodents, and chemicals. Scope includes cable glands, lugs, termination kits, and accessories for complete installation. Work shall conform to Section B2.2.i
27Supply & installation of FRP cable trays of ladder or perforated type, standard length 2500 mm, in widths ranging from 100 mm to 750 mm. Scope includes all supports, fasteners, and anchors required for proper installation. Wall and floor openings shall be sealed with fireproof compound. Power and control cables shall be laid in separate trays with a minimum spacing of 300 mm, as per Section B2.2.ii
28Supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of local push button stations for pumps and blowers control in the DM Plant. Stations shall be wall or pedestal mounted, weatherproof (IP-55 outdoor/IP-52 indoor), with START–STOP push buttons (1 NO + 1 NC) and Emergency STOP, terminal blocks, and nickel-plated brass cable glands. Enclosures shall be made of die-cast aluminum/FRP/polycarbonate with UV resistance. Includes nameplates, earthing, mounting accessories, and padlocking, conforming to IS:13947 / IEC 60947 and IS:2147. As per Section B2.3
29Earth Strips: Supply, installation and connection of following GI earthing strip along the cable trenches or cable trays or fixing to walls or structures including welding at joints, providing anticorrosive paint or bitumen and jute covering for welded portion, clamping and necessary hardware for connecting, etc., including all labour and materials, as per approved drawings, specifications of this tender and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. Size 40 X 5 mm of nearly 1000 meters as per Section B2.4
30Supply, installation, and testing of electrical earth pits as per IS:3043 –1987, including earthing of all non-current carrying metallic parts using GI/CI or tinned copper strips. Earth resistance shall be below 1 ohm with test links provided. All other requirements as per Section B2.5
31INSTRUMENTATION COMPONENTS AS SPECIFIED IN SECTION B3 OF NIT-PART B
32Design, Supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of floor/wall mounted Centralized Instrumentation Panel for DM Plant, suitable for indoor use (IP52/IP55), fabricated from 2 mm thick CRCA steel sheet with powder coating, housing displays and controls for pH, conductivity, flow, level, and pressure instruments. Panel shall include 230V AC supply with MCB, 24V DC loop power via SMPS, internal wiring, terminals, labels, grounding, ventilation, and all accessories as per IS standards, complete with drawings, test certificates, documentation and other details conforming to B3.1. Final acceptance in accordance with Sections C and D of NIT – PART B.
33Design, Supply, laying, termination, and testing of signal and control cabling for field instruments (pH, conductivity, flow, level, pressure, alarms, etc.) using twisted pair overall shielded (TPOS) / individually & overall shielded (IPOS) copper cables, 1.0/1.5 mm², with FRLS PVC sheathing, suitable for 1100V, conforming to IS/IEC standards. Cables shall be laid in separate trays/conduits with proper spacing from power cables, terminated with tinned copper lugs, and earthed at one end to avoid ground loops. Includes cable glands, ferrule-marking, labelling, test certificates and other details conforming to B3.2. Final acceptance in accordance with Sections C and D of NIT – PART B.
34Supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of field-mounted glycerine-filled Pressure Gauges (PG) with 4\\" dial, SS316/316L wetted parts, ½” NPT(M) bottom entry, range 0–7 kg/cm² (or as required), ±1% FSD accuracy, IP-65 protection, and accessories (SS syphon, snubber, isolation valve, tag plate) and other details conforming to to B3.4.1. Final acceptance in accordance with Sections C and D of NIT – PART B.
35Supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of field-mounted glycerine-filled Differential Pressure Gauges (DPG) with 4\\" dial, SS316/316L wetted parts, ½” NPT(M) bottom entry, range as per process (with 30% FSD overrange), ±1% FSD accuracy, IP-65 protection, and accessories (SS syphon, snubber, isolation valve, tag plate) and other details conforming to B3.4.2. Final acceptance in accordance with Sections C and D of NIT – PART B.
36Supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of field-mounted vertical in-line variable area Water Rotameters (WRM) with borosilicate glass tube, SS316 wetted parts, suitable for 0–30 m³/h flow (min.), 7 bar(g) pressure, and 60°C max. temperature, with IP-55 protection, flanged/threaded ends, and accessories (built-in calibration scale, SS flow cum isolation valve, SS tag plate) and other details conforming to B3.4.3. Final acceptance in accordance with Sections C and D of NIT – PART B.
37Supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of field-mounted vertical in-line variable area Air Rotameters (ARM) with borosilicate glass tube, SS316 wetted parts, suitable for 0–100 m³/h flow (or as per process), 6–8 bar(g) pressure, and 60°C max. temperature, with IP-55 protection, flanged/threaded ends, and accessories (built-in calibration scale, SS flow cum isolation valve, SS tag plate) and other details conforming to B3.4.4.
