Name of Work:- ADDITION/ALTERATION AND SPECIAL REPAIRS TO BLDG P-17 AT SHIKRA UNDER GE NW NOFRA

1SCHEDULE 'A' PART I-B/R WORKS Taking down cement or cement lime plaster, any description, on brick or stone walls, etc. including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc., and including removal of all resulting rubbish and debris off MD premises, complete all as specified and directed.
2Material & Labour for Chipping/removing of concrete carefully by using low impact hammer without causing any damage to the existing structural members, reinforcement, embedded services or adjoining surfaces, including controlled breaking of concrete, manual dressing of edges, collection, loading, transportation and disposal of debris outside the premises as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: The work shall be carried out in a controlled manner and hard concrete shall not be removed by force or by methods causing vibration/damage to the structure.
3Demolition of reinforced cement concrete, any description and in any position, including cutting reinforcement as required to facilitate demolition, and including disposal of rubbish off MD premises, complete all as specified and directed
4Demolition of brickwork or stone/boulder masonry built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar, including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc. but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles,including removing debris and rubbish off MD premises complete all as specified and directed.
5Materials and Labour for brickwork with sub-class ‘B’ bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6m mean radius, built in cement mortar (1:4), complete all as specified and directed.
6Materials and Labour for brickwork with sub-class ‘B’ bricks, straight or curved on plan to any radius in half-brick thick walls, built in cement mortar (1:4), complete all as specified and directed.
7Material and labour for cleaning existing exposed reinforcement bars by manual/mechanical wire brushing using rotary wire brush to remove all loose rust, scales, laitance, dirt and foreign materials and preparing the surface to bare metallic finish, including application of two coats of alkaline rust converting/passivating primer conforming to ASTM B-117 (FEOVERT or equivalent approved make) on cleaned reinforcement bars. The second coat shall be applied after a minimum interval of 6 hours or as per manufacturer’s specification. The item also includes application of protective coating (IPNET-RB or equivalent approved make) complete, strictly as per manufacturer’s specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note:Rates quoted shall include all labour, materials, tools & plants, scaffolding, disposal of debris outside the premises and all incidental works complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
8Providing, cutting, bending, placing and binding in position TMT(CRS) reinforcement bars of approved grade and diameter as directed, in replacement of existing corroded/damaged reinforcement where reduction in cross-sectional area of existing reinforcement exceeds 30% due to corrosion, including careful cutting and removal of deteriorated reinforcement, surface preparation, lapping/welding/binding with existing reinforcement as per structural requirements, including all labour, tools, tackles and incidental charges complete as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Measurement shall be made on the basis of actual weight of new reinforcement provided.
9Material and labour for applying bi-polar migratory corrosion inhibitor (EPCO-KP-100/Protectsil CIT/Ferrogard 903 or equivalent approved make) on prepared concrete surface, capable of penetrating through concrete pores up to 100 mm depth and inhibiting corrosion of embedded reinforcement by forming protective layer on anodic and cathodic areas, including surface preparation and application complete as per manufacturer’s specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
10Material & labour for Drilling and fixing Rohibb Teflon nozzles in RCC members, including drilling holes of 12mm dia, 50 to 100mm deep holes. Works shall be carried out as under :- (i) Cleaning of holes. Clean the holes by air blower prior to fixing nozzles.(ii) Fixing of nozzles. Insert 12mm dia. Rohibb Teflon nozzles in cleaned holes. External end of nozzles to be machine to receive outlet of grouting gun.Fix it inside the holes by applying thixotropic epoxy putty to ensure complete sealing. Cure the system for minimum 12 hrs. (iii) Cutting of nozzles. Cut the nozzles by chisel after completion of grouting without damaging structural elements.(iv) In case crack upto 2mm wide, fix the injection nozzels directly over the cracks, at intervals of 6 to 9 inches, using a drilling machine. Fix PVC/MS nozzels in these holes with fast-setting epoxy putty & let it dry for 2 to 3 days. Also, seal the crack between the ports with epoxy putty.(v) In case where the crack is wider than 2mm upto 4 to 5mm, drill holes at the sides of the crack in a staggered fashion, at intervals of 6 inches and affix them with epoxy putty as mentioned above. (vi) Also, seal the face of the crack with a liberal application of the epoxy putty.
11Material and labour for pressure grouting with cement slurry in the proportion of 1:2 (1 cement : 2 water) mixed with approved super plasticizer @ 250 ml per 50 kg of cement, including drilling of holes, fixing of nipples/nozzles, preparation and continuous mechanical mixing of grout, and pressure injection through pump at pressure up to 0.5 kg/cm² or as directed, till refusal or free flow of grout from adjacent nozzles, indicating complete filling of voids/cracks, including sealing of holes after completion, complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
12Material and labour for pressure injection grouting using low viscosity high molecular weight resin (MONOPOL or equivalent approved make) through mechanized injection pump/gun including drilling holes, fixing nozzles/packers, mixing of components (Part A & B) in specified proportion by weight batching, and injecting grout under controlled pressure of 0.5 to 1.0 kg/cm² till refusal or complete filling of cracks/voids, including monitoring through pressure gauge and sealing of holes after grouting, complete as per manufacturer’s specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
13M & L for Providing and applying structural grade bonding agent (EPIBOND-21-LP / equivalent approved make) conforming to ASTM C-882 for ensuring bond between old and new concrete/mortar surface, including surface preparation and application complete as per manufacturer’s specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
14M & L for Building up/reprofiling of damaged structural members using polymer modified cement mortar prepared with latex additive (MONOBOND or equivalent approved make) in the proportion of 1:5:15 (1 Monobond : 5 Cement : 15 Sand), applied in layers up to 30 mm thickness, including surface preparation, leveling, profiling, curing and finishing complete as per manufacturer’s specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
15M & L for Providing and executing RCC jacketing to columns using non-shrink free flow micro concrete (MOLITH-MC M40 or equivalent approved make), including surface preparation, drilling holes, fixing shear connectors/anchors, reinforcement, centering/shuttering, placing and curing of micro concrete, complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge Note : Reinforcement steel shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item.
16Material & Labour for Rendering 15mm thick, on fair faces of brickwork or concrete surfaces, using ready mix prepacked proportioned dry mix mortar, finished even and smooth (without using extra cement), including incorporating integral water proofing compound, preparing the surfaces, curing and cleaning stains and dripping mortar from floors and walls, complete all as specified and directed.Note: Integral water-proofing compound shall be measured and paid for separately at \\"Supplied only\\" rates.
17M & L for Providing and applying anti-algal water-based elastomeric exterior wall finish on newly plastered surfaces including surface preparation and application of suitable wall primer/seal primer with coverage of 8–10 sqm per litre and application of minimum two coats of elastomeric paint comprising base coat with coverage of 4–7 sqm per litre and top coat with coverage of 6–6.5 sqm per litre, applied by roller/brush to achieve uniform finish, complete as per manufacturer’s specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.Notes:1)The work shall be executed only through authorised applicator of approved manufacturer. Each coat of primer/paint shall be inspected and approved by the Engineer-in-Charge before application of subsequent coat through stage passing register which shall be kept on records.2)Contractor shall submit minimum 05 years manufacturer’s warranty certificate for completed work elsewith amount of 5 % of the quoted amount for tis item shall be deducted in RAR as penality.3)Rates quoted shall include surface preparation, scaffolding, tools & plants, all leads and lifts, and incidental charges complete.
18Material & Labour for Providing and applying fair finish 15mm thick plaster with ready mix prepacked proportioned dry mix mortar, fair faces of brick wall or concrete surfaces, on internal surfaces including transporting of material, mixing, curing, etc. complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
19Material and labour for preparation of new plastered surface of wall by brooming down or cleaning and applying two coats of oil-emulsion distemper, white or tinted, over a coat of alkali-resistant priming paint over and including a 3 mm thick wall care putty , finished even and smooth, complete all as specified and directed.
20M&L for Preparation of old previously treated plastered surface of wall by washing, rubbing down and stopping and applying two coats of oil-emulsion distemper, white or tinted, over and including a 3 mm thick wall care putty , finished even and smooth, complete all as specified and directed.

22Material and labour for Preparation of new plastered surface of ceiling and applying two coats of oil-emulsion distemper, white or tinted, over a coat of alkali-resistant priming paint over and including a 3 mm thick wall care putty , finished even and smooth, complete all as specified and directed.

24Supplying and fixing Mild Steel framed work such as grills, railings, and framed brackets of angles or tees (n exc 10 kg each), conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165, including all necessary forgings, drilling, tapping, punching, and countersinking for screws, and including riveting and/or welding as directed, complete all as specified and directed.

85M&L for water proofing treatment to RCC roof slab all as specified below and as directed:-a) Apply one coat of bituminous primer @0.25 Kg/Sqm.(b) Apply a coat of blown type bitumen grade 85/25 heated to working temperature of 180 degree centigrade and applied at 1.20 Kg/Sqm of the surface area.(c) Laying APP polymer modified membrane 4mm thick with non woven polyester reinforcement weighing not less than 4.00 Kg/ Sqm applied by torch application method.The APP membrane shall be laid using torch application method with minimum 100 mm side overlap and 150 mm end overlap and ensure that a constant flow of bitumen is maintained across the whole width of a role and that a bead of bitumen is extruded from all edges to obtain a good seal.The APP membrane shall be taken upto minimum 200 mm on vertical surfaces. All the edges of the membrane shall be sealed with sealant. The rain water gutter portion shall be finished with cement mortar 1:4 to provide requisite slope towards rain water pipe outlet.(d) Apply a coat of blown type bitumen grade 85/25 heated to working temperature of 180 degree centigrade and applied at 1.20 Kg/sqm of the surface area.(e) Apply two coats of solar reflective bituminous aluminium paint @ 0.10 kg /sqm/coat Note- Work shall be carried out through authorised applicator of manufacturer only, a certificate in this regards shall be kept in records.

The thickness of two layer shall be 1 mm. When the second layer is still sticky, coarse sand spry shall be carried out or vertical and bottom surface of the sunken portion all as specified and directed(vi) Plaster the bottom and sides up to bottom of the skirting with minimum 20 mm thick using factory manufactured pre mix / ready mix mortar addition and including WPC of UltraTech WP+ 200 or other equivalent @ 200ml per bag of mortar including rounding of corners and junctions sloping towards spout.( WPC shall be measured & paid separately)Note: Test the water proofed area (ponding test) by filling water for atleast hours hours and tested for leakage seepage and to the entire satisfaction of GE. Test shall be done in presence of reps of PMG and record for each sunken slab shall be maintained. the treatment shall be carried out by authorised applicators of chemicals. (vii) All pipes laid in sunken portion shall be covered with 50 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 all around after painting with anticorrossive black japan paint.
