2Preventive maintenance for indoor and outdoor type RMU (safe plus or safering type) including preventive maintenance activities and repairing the RMU during breakdown / emergency and routine testing all as specified here-in-after:-Note:- (A) Quoted rates shall be deemed to include for the following:-(i) Opening the top & bottom Cover and refixing the same on completion and Cleaning of all parts. (ii) Filling with Filler Material to the bottom of panel. (iii) Repairs to leakage on top of RMU ,if any (iv) Welding work Wherever Required. (v) Maintenance ,tests, reports etc (vi) Repairing the RMU during any breakdown /Emergency upto the period of completion of contract. (B) Minor Spare parts required shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against this item.The following scope of work shall be included under preventive maintenance :-(a) Condition monitoring as per the scope defined:- (i) Condition based & Predictive maintenance. (ii) Preventive maintenance.(iii) Breakdown maintenance. (iv) Overhauling, reconditioning & testing of existing equipment. (v) Failure analysis for major breakdown
3The following scope of work shall be included under preventive maintenance :-
4(a) Condition monitoring as per the scope defined:- (i) Condition based & Predictive maintenance. (ii) Preventive maintenance.(iii) Breakdown maintenance. (iv) Overhauling, reconditioning & testing of existing equipment. (v) Failure analysis for major breakdown
5(b) Performance Health Check-up ;-(i) Checking of CB & Isolator mechanical & electrical operation Closing & tripping (ii) Checking of Breaker close & open operation. (iii) Mechanism Critical setting & adjustment shall be done. (iv) Lubrication of mechanical critical part of Circuit breaker. (v) Lubrication of spring charging mechanism. (vi) Operational Movement & alignment. (vii) Alignment of open cable doors. (viii) Physical healthiness of switches, indication lamp, auxiliary relay etc. (ix) Bus bar tightness, bus joint healthiness checks & contact resistance check.
6(c) Routine Tests :- (i) Testing of protection relays. (ii) CB contact resistance, contact condition the pole. (iii) Interupter health check by HV test (iv) Calieration and testing of relays.
7(d) Reports: All the reports shall be submitted by vendor of relay caliberation and servicing report of circuit breaker.
8Failure reports of major failure-Which includes failure mechanism analysis & remedies Interpretation of condition monitoring data.
9Note: (i) RMU of make ABB & Crompton are installed at site. Preventive maintenance, repairing the RMU during breakdown / emergency and routine testing shall be carried out through authorised representative OEM all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.(ii) Contractor shall submit necessary documentary evidence to the Engineer-in-Charge that Preventive maintenance, repairing the RMU during breakdown / emergency and routine testing has been performed by the OEM. (iii) RMU any type any way including VCB, load break switch and metering unit will be measured as one unit for payment.(iv) After Preventive maintenance, repairing the RMU during breakdown / emergency RMU shall be tested as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge and test result in triplicate copy shall be submitted to Engineer-in-Charge.
10(v) Any other Spare parts required for Preventive maintenance, repairing the RMU during breakdown / emergency will be measured & paid separately as supply only as below. Make of spare part shall be as recommended by the OEM and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge & approval by GE. (vi) Unserviceable parts shall be property of contractor as per credit schedule.
11Preventive maintenance for 100-500 KVA Compact substation (CSS) which includes general preventive maintenance activities and the repairing during breakdown / emergency visit and attend the complaints .Note:-(i) Preventive maintenance shall be carried out during contract period one time(ii) Contractor shall be responsible for repairing the CSS and connected items during any breakdown / emergency. (within contract period deemed included in the quoted rates)(iii) Routine testing shall be carried out during contract period. (iv) Contractor shall be responsible for refilling of gas required for CSS. (v) The quoted rate shall be inclusive of repairing works like welding / Hinges of CSS both door's. (vi) CSS of make ABB are installed at site. The spare part required for Preventive maintenance, repairing the CSS during breadown / emergency will be measured & paid separately as supply only, however the fixing change for the same is deemed to be included in the quoted rate for preventive maintenance (vii) Make of spare part shall be as recommended by the OEM and the same shall be used only after approval by the GE.(viii) Unserviceable parts shall be property of contractor as per credit schedule.
12(ix) Preventive maintenance, repairing the CSS during breadown / emergency and routine testing shall be carried out through by the OEM complete all as specified and as directed.(x) The Contractor shall submit necessary documentary evidence to the Engineer-in-charge that Preventive maintenance, repairing the CSS during breadown / emergency and routine testing has been performed by the OEM. (xi) After Preventive maintenance, repairing the CSS during breadown / emergency CSS shall be tested as directed by the Engineer-in-charge and test result report in triplicate copy shall be submitted to Engineer-in-charge by the contractor and kept in record. A. The following scope of work shall be included under Preventive maintenance :-(i) Contractor shall be responsible for repairing the CSS during any breakdown / emergency.(ii) Preventive maintenance and routine testing as detailed above. (iii) Contractor shall also be responsible for refilling of gas required for CSS Lubrication of mechanical critical parts of circuit breaker shall be done. (iv) Lubrication of spring mechanism shall be carried out. (v) Checking the movement and interlocks of RMU with VCB & isolator. (vi) Checking of alignment of open cable doors. (vii) Physical healthiness of switches,indication lamp, aux relays.
13(viii) Busbar tightness , bus joint healthiness checks by torque wrench and contact resistance check.(ix) Any other service point observed(x ) Planning & updating maintenance(xi) CSS testing(xii) Testing of protection relay by secondary injection test.(xiii) Routine testing of transformer.(xiv) Check the trip operation of the breaker through relay(xv) Primary injection test on CTs.(xvi) Contact resistance testing on breaker and bus joints(xvii) Ratio check of potential transformer(xviii) Checked the open delta voltage ( if applicable)(xix) Megger & HV testB. 39M&L for Repair/Maintenance of HT VCB 11 KV by cleaning the VCB by using air blower, tightening of connection/controls, checking of all fuses, sealing of VCB at bottom, repairing of VCB at bottom, reparing of mechanical parts, oiling/greasing of all moving -parts, caliberating all relays, and carrying out following checks for smooth functioning complete all as specified and directed at site.
40(a) Visual Inspection Checking.(b) Checking of functional locks, interlocks, signalling devices and auxiliary devices.(c) Checking of suitability and correct operations of protections, control instruments and electrical connection of the circuit breaker operating mechanism.(d) Checking of Tripping Mechanism operation.(e) Checking Spring Charging Limit Switch Operation.(f) Checking with Standard voltage on the auxiliary circuit.(g) Checking of with Standard voltage at potential transformer and power frequency.(h) Checking of Breaker ON/OFF operation manually and electrically.(j) Testing of vacuum Bottle integrity.(k) Relay testing.(l) Checking of the resistance of the main circuit.(m) Verification of wiring. Note: (i) Any spare Parts if found unserviceable will be measured & paid separately as supply only as below. (ii) Unserviceable parts shall be property of contractor as per credit schedule.(iii) Make approved as per OEM shall be used only after approval of GE.(iv) The contractor shall submit relay calliberation certificate of VCBs.

(Note :-(i) Sand cushioning, cable protection, GI protection pipe, clamps, jointing kits and excavation & earth work shall be measured & paid for separately.(ii) Road cutting/floor cutting /cutting holes etc in walls required for laying/fixing of cable etc shall be made good as per existing. Nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. Quoted rates shall be inclusive of the above provisions.)

62Supply & laying ISI marked & conforming to IS - 5820 - 1970 unreinforced precast concrete cable cover Class HV ,type-1 flat of size 300 mm X 180 mm X 40 mm in trenches as protection to HT UG cable complete all as specified and as directed.
63Supply and laying in renewal of GI tubing 100 mm dia bore light grade laid in trenches / floor / fixing on pole / wall for cable protection with necessary fittings etc including taking down old tubing complete all as specified and directed.
64Material and labour for provision of earthing complete with galvanized iron earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below normal ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m deep below normal ground connected to galvanised mild steel strip 32 x 6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washer of galvanized steel, watering pipe of 20 mm bore galvanised iron medium grade and 40 mm bore galvanised iron light grade for earth strip protection including all excavation, earth work in any type of soil, PCC pit in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 and RCC 1:2:4, type B1 for precast chamber cover 50 mm thick, reinforced with welded steel wire fabric or XPM Jali (weight not less than 4.00 Kg / sqm), with charcoal, salt, funnel complete all as shown in the electrical plate No 3 of SSR part –I and testing on completion & including dismantling & taking out old unserviceable earthing, complete all as specified and as directed. Note : (i) Earth result after installation completely should be less than 5 Ohm .(ii) Quoted rates shall be deemed to include for earth strip with protection pipe of 7.5 M length.
65Note for above Srl Item No 1 to 28 :- (i) Work shall be executed by the authorised service mechanic/Electrician of manufacturer, After satisfactorily completion of servicing of HT Transformer/VCB/RMU /CSS, If any fault occurs upto the completion of contract should be attended by concerned rep within stripulated time frame without fail , quoted rates is deemed to be included all such charges.(ii) If any above HT Equipment and connected items become breakdown, the contractor shall loacate the problem/fault at site within 12 hours on intimation by JE/Engineer-In-Charge and ensure that the fault to be rectified within 48 Hours , failing which an amount of Rs 200 /- per hour will be recovered as a penal recovery from any payment due to contractor after expiry of 48 hours.) (iii) Minor consumable items, ie Nuts bolts, Control wires , PVC tapes, Welding Job, cotton waste & cleaning clothes, petroleum jelly, grease , lubricating oil, emery paper , T & P items etc, is to be arranged by contracttor without any extra cost.
