| 1 | M&L for attending to petty repair job to plumbing internal water supply, such as repair to leaking bib tap, pillar tap, mixer, stop cock, angle valves, float valves, concealed stop cock, etc., by tightening and providing washer, disc, spindle, or any other minor accessories; repair to float valve; flushing cistern by minor adjustment; leaking water supply lines by tightening the GI fittings/PVC fittings; or refixing water supply or sanitary fixtures using thread/Teflon tapes, with and including small GI fittings such as GI/PVC elbow, socket, union, as required at site to make the system functional, complete as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. |

| 4 | Treatment of sunken floor slab comprises of the following specifications and all as specified :- |
| 5 | Note for item no 3:(1) M&L for cleaning the sunken/lowered portion of RCC slab surface (including vertical total depth plus skirting height) of floors by wire brush, chisel out any mortar sticking to the surface and brooming completely. 40mm thick average PCC 1:2:4 type B0 using 12.5mm graded aggregate as in padding concrete to achieve proper slope (2) Rendering of uneven surfaces with 5mm thick CM 1:3 mixed with integral water proofing compound @ 2% by wt. of cement consumed. Fill it with water and check dampness and seepage. Where dampness/seepage is noticed, nozzles shall be fixed and grouting to be carried out (WPC shall be measured and paid separately)(3) All junctions points of side wall where CI/GI pipes are passing through shall be sealed with epoxy putty. (4) After drying putty, wash the slab and sides of sunken portion with water and make it clear and clean. (5) M&L for applying two coats of polymer modified cementious water proof coating as per manufacturers instruction to bottom and vertical sides up to finished floor level +100mm height. The thickness of two layer shall be 1mm. When the second layer is still sticky,, coarse sand spray shall be carried for the vertical and bottom surface of the sunken portion all as specified and directed. (This item shall be measured and paid separately). (6) Plaster the bottom and sides up to bottom of the skirting with minimum 20mm thick CM 1:4 mixed with integral water proofing compound @2% wt of cement consumed as per manufacturer's specification including rounding of corners and junctions sloping towards spout. (WPC shall be measured & paid separately). (7) All pipes laid in sunken portion shall be covered with 50mm thick PCC 1:3:6 all round after painting with anticorrosive paint (Black paint shall be paid separately) Note :- Test the water proofed area (ponding test) by filling water for at least 72 hours and tested for leakage seepage and to the entire satisfaction of GE. Test shall be done in presence of reps of PMG and record for each sunken slab shall be maintained. The treatment shall be carried out by authorised applicators of chemicals. Cost of testing is included in the rates quoted above. |
| 6 | M&L for applying two coats of polymer-modified cementitious waterproof coating, as per the manufacturer's instructions, to the bottom and vertical sides up to finished floor level +100 mm height. The thickness of the two layers shall be 1 mm. When the second layer is still sticky, coarse sand spray shall be carried out for the vertical and bottom surfaces of the sunken portion, all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. |

The membrane shall be terminated at a minimum height of 300 mm above FFL in vertical areas, using a termination bar, mechanical fasteners, and PU sealant, complete as per manufacturer’s specifications and product data sheets. |
