The top water container should be preferable cylindrical in shape, shaft for support shall not be permitted. The foundation, columns bearing etc. shall be designed and constructed with provision for the construction of a single storey building between the G.L.bracing and first bracing with R.C.C. roof slab and bricks walls for store accommodation. The Position of the bracing shall be so fixed that the height of floor is approximately 3.00 M and the top of ground level bracing is 0.60 M above general ground level to provide for plinth. The construction of such building is included in the turn-key job. Bearing capacity of the soil at the site shall also be got tested by the contractor through the approved vendor. |
