| 1 | Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5 kg per 10 Sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 Kg per 10 Sqm blinded with 0.09 Cum of stone chippings, again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chipping etc) depth of potholes exc 30 mm completed all as specified and directed. |
| 2 | Premix bituminious macadam consolidated thickness (75 mm or less) thick and over with 4% binder content by weight of total mix using VG-30 paving bitumen laid/ rolled to required gradient and camber using power road roller complete all as specified and directed. |
| 3 | Preparing existing black top bituminous surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with mechanical air blower to remove all loose dirt/ foreign materials and applying evenly a priming tack coat with bituminous primer (Paving Bitumen of Viscosity grade VG-30) at the rate of 5 Kg per 10 Sqm of surface laying bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 30 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix and 4% stone dust conforming to specification for filler as per IRC-95, 1987 (filler) prepared in hot mix plant, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient to uniform smooth surfaces by mechanical paver and with 8 to 12 tonne power roller, complete all as specified and directed.Note: The minimum consolidated thickness will be 30 mm. However it may be increased at places to maintain the camber as per the site requirement and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. The contractor must visit the site before quoting their rates. |
| 4 | Marking lines, dashes arrows etc of any description not exc 10 cm width/ girth and not less than 2.50 mm thickness on road surface using hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint mixed with radium glass beads @ 250 gms/ Sqm with automatic machine to provide reflectivity and night vision (approximate temperature being 200° celsius at the time of laying including cleaning the surface by removing all dirt, dust and all other foreign matters, demarcation at site and traffic control, complete all as specified and directed. |
| 5 | Aluminium body cat eye's dual directional reflective cat eye of aluminium casted stud 100mm x 100 mm having plastic ABS strip containing 31 mini retroreflective glass beads of colour white/ red/ yellow side provided with steel zinc pasted nails of dia 12 mm and of length 120 mm by hammering or epoxy resign including removal of old unserviceable stud complete all as specified and directed.Make: Greenlite/ Dark eye/ Sinor. |
