| 19 | M&L for carrying out repair damaged RCC projections, chajja facia, roof projection facia, etc in the following stages -(i) Demolition of existing damaged RCC projection, chajja facia, roof projection facia and similar suspended work and (reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition).(ii) Preparation of existing demolised portion by scrapping, cutting, chiseling, derusting and cleaning exposed reinforcement, surfaces of damaged, loose RCC and providing cement concrete (1:1.5:3) using 12.5 mm graded crushed stone aggregate including necessary form work and reinforced with low carbon annealed wire in hexagonal shape 1.0mm diametre chicken wire mesh of size 25mm complete.(iii) Providing and applying approved chemical rust remover with paint brush on corroded rebar and removing loose particles after 24 hours of its application and washed with sufficient quantity of water to make rebar free from corrosion.(iv) Providing & fixing new reinforcement of various diameters as required at site in the form of mild steel and /or steel confirming to IS and lapping, welding, anchoring suitable to the old reinforcement including cutting, bending with all tools & tackles etc;(v) Applying 1st coat rendering of 10mm thick in CM (1:3) over demolished concrete facia/projection surfaces and allow to dry 6-8 Hrs and cured with gunny jute bag. |

| 21 | M&L for preparation of old decorated surfaces of over head reservoir 50000 Gln capacity at 21 metre staging height, and applying two coats of exterior acrylic emulsion paint in camouflage pattern, preparation of old decorated surfaces of railing, stair case and CI pipes of over head reservoir 50000 Gln capacity at 21 metre staging height, and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint and complete all as specified & directed. Note:- (a) Contractor shall take precaution for safety measures as per MES safety code. Contractor shall quote his rates keeping this aspect in mind and nothing extra on this account shall be payable to the contractor. (b) Unit rate of this item includes the following aspect:- (i) To provide complete scaffolding including safety belt to the workers as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge/ Garrison Engineer. (ii) Nothing extra shall be paid on account of increase in height, hence work shall be carried out for complete surfaces varied at height and no claim on account of more height shall be entertained. Tenderer is hereby advised to see this factor before quoting his rate. |
| 22 | Note: Items for periodical services shall include the following and the rates quoted by the bidders shall include the same :-(a) The work pertaining to periodical services shall be executed by the contractor as per MoU from authorised applicator through manufacturer of the materials like Exterior Emulsion paint, putty etc after approval by the Garrison Engineer (b) The Contractor shall upload with the documents under cover I \\"Memoradum of Understanding\\" (MOU) with at least one of the manufacturers mentioned in the contract, failing which the bid shall be laible to be rejected.(c) Use of Scaffolding, trestles, ladders, cradles, equipment & machines etc necessary for execution of work and protective measures.(d) Removing of Nails, making good holes, cracks etc and preparation of surfaces.(e) Work in patches and in narrow / widths, bands, cornices, pilasters etc and cutting in edge of line where necessary.(f) Spreading and removing covering to doors, windows, floors, fittings etc to protect them from splashes. |
| 23 | (g) Washing floors, cleaning glass, joinery , electric fittings , wirings etc. Drops and splashes of paint to be cleaned to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.(h) Sample patch of 10Sqm be prepared considering all the items of periodical and shall be got approved from Garrison Engineer prior to carrying out further work.(j) The spray machine should be of reputed manufacturer i.e Asian/Berger or other equivalent manufacturer with pro guard technology (k) Guarantee :- The contractor shall furnish a guarantee certificate from approved make in favour of Garrison Engineer for the efficiency of the weather proof paint for 5 yrs during the guarantee period.
