Name of Work:- CERTAIN REPAIR TO LT DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM ALONGWITH ALLIED WORKS AT DOMESTIC AREA AND TECH AREA AT BHISIANA UNDER GE (AF) BHISIANA

1Excavation in trenches (Manual), not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for pipe line, cable in trenches etc., not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and getting out in any type of soft including trimming the sides and forming bottom surfaces to required levels complete all as specified and as directed.
2Excavation in trenches (Manual), not exceeding 1.5m wide and exceeding 1.5m but not exceeding 3m in depth for pipe line, cable in trenches, for pole etc., not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and getting out in any type of soft including trimming the sides and forming bottom surfaces to required levels complete all as specified and as directed.
3Returning, filling including spreading, leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.
4Removing excavated material (surplus soil) to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.
5Material and labour for boring of holes (trenchless horizontal Directional Drilling) under road pavement, hard standing or any other situation by using trenchless boring manual manpower by using manpower auger machine/spiral-bladed drill /Boki/mechanically or any other means suitable for accommodate/inserting pipe upto 100mm bore in the drilled holes, including excavation, returning filling in the both ends working space including removal of surplus soil and making good the surface complete all as specified and as directed.Note ; (i) Only length of the road/hard standing/Pavement will be measured for payment and cost for excavation, returning filling and making good at both side of bore shall deemed to be included in the quoted unit rate nothing extra shall be paid on this account. (ii) Pipe shall be measured and paid separately)
6Labour only for locating, checking and sensing faults in existing underground LT cable of size 10 Sqmm to 50 Sqmm, 2 core to 4 core, by taking up/down the cable from trenches, floor, along pole, or any open surface etc at required locations, carrying out necessary testing/inspection to identify the fault, including taking out layer of cable protection cover any type complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
7Labour for only locating, checking and sensing faults in existing underground LT cable of size 70 Sqmm to 120 Sqmm, 3.5 core, by taking up/down the cable from trenches, floor, along pole, or any open surface etc at required locations, carrying out necessary testing/inspection to identify the fault, including taking out layer of cable protection cover any type complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
8Labour only for locating, checking and sensing faults in existing underground LT cable of size 185 Sqmm to 240 Sqmm, 3.5 core, by taking up/down the cable from trenches, floor, along pole, or any open surface etc at required locations, carrying out necessary testing/inspection to identify the fault, including taking out layer of cable protection cover any type complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
9Labour only for laying, fixing and drawing old serviceable LT cable of size 10 Sqmm to 50 Sqmm, 2 core to 4 core, in trenches, on floors, along poles, walls or any other open surface, including drawing the cable through protection pipes/conduits wherever required, dressing, aligning and securing the cable in position with necessary minor consumables such as binding wire, saddles etc, and making necessary end connections including supply and fixing of suitable size thimbles and testing, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
10Labour only for laying, fixing and drawing old serviceable LT cable of size 70 Sqmm to 120 Sqmm, 3.5 core, in trenches, on floors, along poles, walls or any other open surface, including drawing the cable through protection pipes/conduits wherever required, dressing, aligning and securing the cable in position with necessary minor consumables such as binding wire, saddles etc, and making necessary end connections including supply and fixing of suitable size thimbles and testing, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
11Labour only for laying, fixing and drawing old serviceable LT cable of size 185 Sqmm to 240 Sqmm, 3.5 core, in trenches, on floors, along poles, walls or any other open surface, including drawing the cable through protection pipes/conduits wherever required, dressing, aligning and securing the cable in position with necessary minor consumables such as binding wire, saddles etc, and making necessary end connections including supply and fixing of suitable size thimbles and testing, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
12Labour only for collecting LT cable of any size issued free under Schedule ‘B’ from the departmental E/M store yard, transporting to site, laying, fixing and drawing the cable in trenches, on floors, along poles, walls or any other open surface, including drawing through protection pipes/conduits wherever required, dressing, aligning and securing the cable in position with minor consumables such as binding wire, saddles, clamps and other approved fixing accessories, and making necessary end connections including supply and fixing of suitable size thimbles, testing and commissioning, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.Note:- This item includes only labour for collection from departmental E/M store yard, transportation to site, laying, fixing, drawing, connection and testing of LT cable issued free under Schedule ‘B’.
13Supply, laying, fixing and drawing XLPE LT Cable of size 10 Sqmm, 4 core, 1100 Volt grade heavy duty with XLPE insulated, stranded aluminium conductor served with an inner sheathening of PVC tape armoured with Galvanized steel strip or wire and over all PVC Sheathed stranded conductor conforming to IS- 7098 (Part-I) with latest amendments, in trenches, on floors, along poles, walls or any other open surface, including drawing the cable through protection pipes/conduits wherever required, dressing, aligning and securing the cable in position with necessary minor consumables such as binding wire, saddles etc, and making necessary end connections including supply and fixing of suitable size thimbles and testing, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
14Supply, laying, fixing and drawing XLPE LT Cable of size 16 Sqmm, 4 core, 1100 Volt grade heavy duty with XLPE insulated, stranded aluminium conductor served with an inner sheathening of PVC tape armoured with Galvanized steel strip or wire and over all PVC Sheathed stranded conductor conforming to IS- 7098 (Part-I) with latest amendments, in trenches, on floors, along poles, walls or any other open surface, including drawing the cable through protection pipes/conduits wherever required, dressing, aligning and securing the cable in position with necessary minor consumables such as binding wire, saddles etc, and making necessary end connections including supply and fixing of suitable size thimbles and testing, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

27Supply and fixing GI tubing, galvanized, light grade, ISI marked, of 50 mm nominal bore, laid in trenches, on floors, or fixed along poles, walls, ceilings or other surfaces as required for protection of earth strips and/or cables, including all necessary pipe fittings such as elbows, tees, sockets, couplers and other accessories, cutting, threading, bending and jointing as required, and fixing in position with suitable size MS clamps, saddles, spacer blocks, nuts, bolts, washers and other fixing accessories as per site requirement, including taking down/out old pipe complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
28Supply and fixing GI tubing, galvanized, light grade, ISI marked, of 80 mm nominal bore, laid in trenches, on floors, or fixed along poles, walls, ceilings or other surfaces as required for protection of earth strips and/or cables, including all necessary pipe fittings such as elbows, tees, sockets, couplers and other accessories, cutting, threading, bending and jointing as required, and fixing in position with suitable size MS clamps, saddles, spacer blocks, nuts, bolts, washers and other fixing accessories as per site requirement, including taking down/out old pipe complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
29Supply and making straight-through cable joint for 1.1 KV grade PVC/XLPE insulated, PVC sheathed, armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 25 Sqmm to 95 Sqmm, 3.5 core or 4 core, using approved cast resin type straight-through jointing kit complete with resin compound, connectors/ferrules, insulating and sealing materials, moulds, armour continuity arrangement, gland accessories and all other jointing materials required for proper completion of the joint, including cutting, dressing, crimping, jointing, sealing, testing and commissioning, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
30Supply and making straight-through cable joint for 1.1 KV grade PVC/XLPE insulated, PVC sheathed, armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 120 Sqmm to 150 Sqmm, 3.5 core or 4 core, using approved cast resin type straight-through jointing kit complete with resin compound, connectors/ferrules, insulating and sealing materials, moulds, armour continuity arrangement, gland accessories and all other jointing materials required for proper completion of the joint, including cutting, dressing, crimping, jointing, sealing, testing and commissioning, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
31Supply and making straight-through cable joint for 1.1 KV grade PVC/XLPE insulated, PVC sheathed, armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 185 Sqmm to 240 Sqmm, 3.5 core or 4 core, using approved cast resin type straight-through jointing kit complete with resin compound, connectors/ferrules, insulating and sealing materials, moulds, armour continuity arrangement, gland accessories and all other jointing materials required for proper completion of the joint, including cutting, dressing, crimping, jointing, sealing, testing and commissioning, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
32Note for item No 1 to 31 above :- (i) The works of excavation, earthwork, cutting/opening of roads, boring under roads, backfilling, taking out of existing cables, fault locating, checking, testing and sensing operations, fault detection and rectification, relaying of old serviceable cables, laying of new cables, drawing of cables through protection pipes, making of cable joints, testing and commissioning shall be deemed to be included in the respective relevant BOQ Items Serial No. 1 to 31. Any other incidental, ancillary and connected works required for execution of the above operations and for restoration of the cable network to a complete and satisfactory operating condition, whether specifically mentioned in the BOQ items or not, shall also be deemed to be included in the rates quoted for the aforesaid BOQ items. No separate or additional payment whatsoever shall be admissible on account of any such works, operations, labour, tools, plants, consumables or incidental requirements except where expressly provided for under a specific BOQ item.(ii) Where an existing underground LT cable is taken out for checking, testing, sensing and/or rectification of faults, and the same serviceable cable is subsequently relaid or replaced with a new cable in the same trench/route, the excavation, earthwork, return filling, dressing and restoration shall be measured and paid once only for the affected length. No separate or additional payment shall be admissible for excavation, refilling or reinstatement carried out for removal of the existing cable and subsequent relaying of the serviceable cable or laying of the replacement cable in the same alignment.
33Supply and fixing in replacement MCCB of rating 63 Amps, 4 Pole, 415 Volts AC, breaking capacity 16 kA, with adjustable thermal and magnetic protection, Ics = 100% of Icu, conforming to IEC 60947-2, mounted and connected in the existing distribution board/panel. Including necessary modifications/adjustments for proper fitment in the existing panel space, termination of incoming and outgoing connections, tightening of all terminals, testing for satisfactory operation and commissioning, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
34Supply and fixing in replacement MCCB of rating 100 Amps, 4 Pole, 415 Volts AC, breaking capacity 16 kA, with adjustable thermal and magnetic protection, Ics = 100% of Icu, conforming to IEC 60947-2, mounted and connected in the existing distribution board/panel. Including necessary modifications/adjustments for proper fitment in the existing panel space, termination of incoming and outgoing connections, tightening of all terminals, testing for satisfactory operation and commissioning, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
35Supply and fixing in replacement MCCB of rating 125 Amps, 4 Pole, 415 Volts AC, breaking capacity 16 kA, with adjustable thermal and magnetic protection, Ics = 100% of Icu, conforming to IEC 60947-2, mounted and connected in the existing distribution board/panel. Including necessary modifications/adjustments for proper fitment in the existing panel space, termination of incoming and outgoing connections, tightening of all terminals, testing for satisfactory operation and commissioning, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
36Supply and fixing in replacement MCCB of rating 160 Amps, 4 Pole, 415 Volts AC, breaking capacity 16 kA, with adjustable thermal and magnetic protection, Ics = 100% of Icu, conforming to IEC 60947-2, mounted and connected in the existing distribution board/panel. Including necessary modifications/adjustments for proper fitment in the existing panel space, termination of incoming and outgoing connections, tightening of all terminals, testing for satisfactory operation and commissioning, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
37Supply and fixing in replacement MCCB of rating 200 Amps, 4 Pole, 415 Volts AC, breaking capacity 25 kA, with adjustable thermal and magnetic protection, Ics = 100% of Icu, conforming to IEC 60947-2, mounted and connected in the existing distribution board/panel. Including necessary modifications/adjustments for proper fitment in the existing panel space, termination of incoming and outgoing connections, tightening of all terminals, testing for satisfactory operation and commissioning, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
38Supply and fixing in replacement MCCB of rating 250 Amps, 4 Pole, 415 Volts AC, breaking capacity 25 kA, with adjustable thermal and magnetic protection, Ics = 100% of Icu, conforming to IEC 60947-2, mounted and connected in the existing distribution board/panel. Including necessary modifications/adjustments for proper fitment in the existing panel space, termination of incoming and outgoing connections, tightening of all terminals, testing for satisfactory operation and commissioning, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
39Supply and fixing in replacement MCCB of rating 315 Amps, 4 Pole, 415 Volts AC, breaking capacity 35/36 kA, with adjustable thermal and magnetic protection, Ics = 100% of Icu, conforming to IEC 60947-2, mounted and connected in the existing distribution board/panel. 40Supply and fixing in replacement MCCB of rating 400 Amps, 4 Pole, 415 Volts AC, breaking capacity 35/36 kA, with adjustable thermal and magnetic protection, Ics = 100% of Icu, conforming to IEC 60947-2, mounted and connected in the existing distribution board/panel. Including necessary modifications/adjustments for proper fitment in the existing panel space, termination of incoming and outgoing connections, tightening of all terminals, testing for satisfactory operation and commissioning, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
41Supply and fixing in replacement MCCB of rating 630 Amps, 4 Pole, 415 Volts AC, breaking capacity 35/36 kA, with adjustable thermal and magnetic protection, Ics = 100% of Icu, conforming to IEC 60947-2, mounted and connected in the existing distribution board/panel. Including necessary modifications/adjustments for proper fitment in the existing panel space, termination of incoming and outgoing connections, tightening of all terminals, testing for satisfactory operation and commissioning, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
42Material and labour for danger notice plate of size 25cmx20cm made out of MS sheet 1.6 mm thick, vitreous enamelled white, with letters figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed along pole with MS clamps made out of 25mm x 3mm MS flat iron including bolts and nuts for HT 11000 volts confirming to IS 2551 : 1982 (Reaffirmed Year : 2020 ), complete all as specified and as directed.
43Material and labour for danger notice plate of size 20cmx15cm made out of MS sheet 1.6 mm thick, vitreous enamelled white, with letters figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed along pole with MS clamps made out of 25mm x 3mm MS flat iron including bolts and nuts for LT 1100 volts confirming to IS 2551 : 1982 (Reaffirmed Year : 2020 ), complete all as specified and as directed
44Supply and fixing of stainless steel (SS) single compression type cable gland of suitable size, as required at site, in the existing panel, bus bar chamber or equipment, suitable for termination of 3.5 core to 4 core, 10 to 240 sqmm XLPE armoured cable. The work shall include drilling/cutting of gland plate wherever required, fixing of gland with all necessary accessories such as lock nut, earth tag, washers, nuts and bolts, proper armour earthing, dressing and securing of cable, and making the gland completely dust-proof and mechanically secure, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

52Supply and fixing in replacement (concealed flush to wall or surface along wall as per existing space) factory made VTPN (Vertical type), 4 Way 415V, as per IEC 61439-3, DB (made out of CRCA sheet not less than 1.2mm thick, with copper bus bar rating 200 Amps, with two neutral bar, 2 earth bar and cable tie for cable management, including in built one number MCCB 4 pole 125Amp, 16KA as incomer, DB shall be semi glosy finished with epoxy polyster based powder paint sprayed and backed at high temperature between powder paint process to ensure smooth finish and protection against corrosion atmosphere. The DB shall be double door type with hinged door with locking arrangement, the DBs shall be same make as MCCBs, DB shall be provided with level marking indicating the incoming and outgoing circuits on always as specified. The DBs shall be of IP-54 protection class, including making good disturbed surfaces of walls as necessity complete all as specified and directed.Note :- MCB/ISOLATOR for outgoing shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of BOQ.

The work shall include dismantling and removal of the existing changeover switch, fixing the new changeover switch with enclosure, making all power and earth connections using suitable lugs, ferrules, glands and other required connecting accessories, tightening all terminals, testing for proper operation, and commissioning. The item includes all materials, labour, fixing hardware and incidental works, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
54Supply and fixing in replacement of On-Load Changeover Switch, 400 A, 4 Pole, 415 V AC, 50 Hz, housed in a sheet steel enclosure suitable for surface mounting and provided with a padlocking facility. The work shall include dismantling and removal of the existing changeover switch, fixing the new changeover switch with enclosure, making all power and earth connections using suitable lugs, ferrules, glands and other required connecting accessories, tightening all terminals, testing for proper operation, and commissioning. The item includes all materials, labour, fixing hardware and incidental works, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
55Material and labour for servicing of existing LT panel of any size, type and rating, comprising isolation of electrical supply after obtaining necessary shutdown, opening the panel, thorough inspection, cleaning of all internal and external surfaces by removing dust, dirt and other foreign matter using an air blower, dry cloth. The work shall include removal of burnt/damaged control and power wiring, cable joints, lugs/thimbles and replacement/re-jointing of all defective connections using suitable size copper cable (same or next higher size, wherever required), supply and replacement of damaged rubber beading/gasket for panel doors, replacement of defective RYB phase indicating lamps, replacement of nuts, bolts, washers, screws and other hardware, tightening of all power and control connections, checking of bus bar joints and earthing connections, dressing and proper routing of wiring, and carrying out continuity, insulation resistance and operational tests after reassembly, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.Note : MCCB, Ammeter, Voltmeter, cable gland if required for replacement same shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of BOQ.
56Material and labour for replacement of broken, damaged or unserviceable MS hinges, locking arrangements, handles, hasps, staples and locks with keys, with new approved components suitable for doors of LT panels, panel compartments, busbar chambers/boxes or similar enclosures, including removal of existing defective components, welding/repair of damaged adjoining metal portions wherever required, matching the existing pattern and dimensions, drilling, cutting, fastening, alignment, adjustment and all other incidental works necessary to make the door fully functional, properly aligned and capable of being securely opened, closed and locked, while maintaining the original degree of protection, accessibility and structural integrity of the enclosure, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.Note:-(i) The replacement hinges, locking arrangements and locks shall be of suitable size, type and strength compatible with the existing enclosure and shall match the existing arrangement as closely as practicable.(ii) The work shall be carried out in such a manner that the door operates smoothly without binding or misalignment and can be securely locked after completion of the repairs.(iii) The work shall be carried out after isolating and disconnecting the electrical supply/connections to the concerned equipment and necessary safety precautions shall be observed during execution of the work to ensure safety of personnel and equipment.(iv) Measurement for payment shall be made per completed job for each individual LT panel and its compartment, busbar chamber/box or other MS enclosure. No separate measurement or payment shall be made for individual hinges, locks, locking arrangements, welding repairs or other ancillary components replaced within the same enclosure
57Material and labour for preparation and painting of existing LT panels, Busbar chambers/boxes or similar MS enclosures by scraping loose, blistered and flaking paint, removing rust by emery paper, sand paper, wire brush or other approved means, cleaning all exposed surfaces, removing dust and foreign matter from internal portions using an air blower or other approved method, and applying one coat of approved synthetic enamel paint of shade Ivory, Smoke Grey or matching the existing colour, by pressure spray gun on all accessible external and internal metallic surfaces without disturbing, dismantling or damaging the existing electrical components such as MCBs, MCCBs, busbars, wiring, switches, contactors, relays, meters, terminals and other associated accessories, including masking/protection of electrical components against paint ingress, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.Note:(i) The work shall be carried out only after isolating and disconnecting the electrical supply/connections to the concerned equipment. All necessary safety precautions shall be observed during execution of the work to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment.(ii) Care shall be taken to prevent paint, dust or other foreign matter from entering or adhering to electrical components, contacts, busbars, insulating parts, meters, relays or wiring. Any damage caused during execution shall be made good by the Contractor at his own cost to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.(iii) Measurement for payment shall be made on a per completed job basis for each individual LT panel, busbar chamber/box or other MS enclosure, irrespective of the number of compartments or accessories painted.
58Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of factory-fabricated outdoor type LT Busbar Chamber/Sheet Metal Enclosure suitable for 415 Volts, 3 Phase, 4 Wire AC supply, cubicle type, overall size 300 mm × 300 mm × 200 mm, having minimum degree of protection IP-54, fabricated from 3.15 mm thick CRCA steel sheet, duly phosphated and epoxy polyester powder coated with coating thickness not less than 100 microns, complete with four aluminium busbars of minimum 100 Amps current rating, colour identified with heat shrinkable insulating sleeves (Red, Yellow, Blue and Black), rigidly mounted on suitable size Class 'F' insulating supports, complete with all busbar supports, hardware and insulating barriers as required. The enclosure shall be provided with front-opening single door fitted with heavy-duty MS hinges, chromium-plated 19 mm dia fancy lock with two keys, neoprene/rubber gasket for weatherproof sealing, removable gland plate complete with suitable size brass cable glands for all incoming and outgoing cables, ventilation louvers/air fins with vermin-proof arrangement, earthing stud. The chamber shall be mounted on a fabricated MS angle iron frame complete with 04 Nos. angle iron legs of size 25 × 25 × 4 mm, each 500 mm long, embedded 200 mm deep in PCC blocks of 1:2:4 (Type B-1) using 20 mm graded stone aggregate, maintaining 300 mm minimum ground clearance above finished ground level. The work shall also include dismantling and removal of the existing unserviceable busbar chamber/enclosure of any size, disconnecting and reconnecting all incoming and outgoing cables, supplying and fixing suitable size aluminium/copper compression thimbles, nuts, bolts, spring washers and other termination hardware as required, tightening of all electrical connections, continuity and insulation resistance testing, earthing, commissioning and making the complete installation functional, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

64Material and labour for disconnecting all incoming and outgoing cable connections and earthing strips from the existing LT panel of any size, rating and type, fixed in any position, including obtaining necessary shutdown, dismantling the complete panel carefully from its PCC foundation without causing any damage to the panel, busbars, internal wiring, instruments, relays or other components, shifting the panel to another location within the Air Force Station, re-erecting and aligning the panel at the new location, reconnecting all incoming and outgoing cables with suitable size lugs/thimbles, reconnecting earthing strips, checking and tightening all electrical and mechanical connections, testing for continuity, insulation resistance and proper operation. The item shall also include grouting the panel legs in PCC blocks of 1:2:4 (Type B-1) using 20 mm graded stone aggregate, maintaining adequate ground clearance as per standard practice, making good all disturbed surfaces, and carrying out testing and commissioning after completion of the work. The item includes all labour, consumables, T&P, lifting arrangements, minor materials and incidental works required for satisfactory completion, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
65Material and labour for cutting an existing unused steel pole of any type, height or size from just above the ground level, leaving the embedded portion intact, as directed, and carefully lowering the pole to the ground without causing damage, including disconnecting all incoming and outgoing cable connections, earthing connections and associated accessories, if any. The work shall include handling, loading, transporting and unloading the pole from the existing location to the proposed location within the Air Force Station, erecting the pole in position as directed, including excavation, embedding the pole in PCC (1:2:4) (Type B-1) using 20 mm graded stone aggregate, backfilling, ramming, dressing the surrounding ground and making good all disturbed surfaces at both locations. The item shall also include all labour, consumables, T&P, lifting arrangements, scaffolding, safety precautions and incidental works required for satisfactory completion, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.Note: Any existing fittings, such as light fittings, brackets, clamps, junction boxes or other accessories removed from the pole shall be carefully dismantled without damage and deposited in the AGE (E/M) Store as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
66Supply and fixing of Cable Route Indicator fabricated from 4 mm thick MS plate, 150 mm diameter, welded to a 25 × 25 × 3 mm MS angle iron single leg/stand of 500 mm minimum length on the rear side of the plate. The indicator shall be cleaned, provided with one coat of red oxide zinc chromate primer followed by two coats of approved synthetic enamel paint, and neatly lettered with \\"LT CABLE 1100 VOLT\\" in approved colour and size as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The cable route indicator shall be fixed in position by grouting the angle iron in PCC (1:3:6) (Type C-1) using 20 mm graded stone aggregate in a concrete block of suitable size, including excavation, backfilling, ramming and making good the disturbed surface. The indicators shall be installed along the LT cable route at the spacing directed by the Engineer-in-Charge and shall invariably be provided at every change in direction (turning point) of the cable route. The item includes all materials, labour, consumables, T&P and incidental works required for satisfactory completion, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
67Material and labour for dismantling PCC around existing poles and taking out old PCC poles of any height and size, whether broken above ground level, broken into parts or complete with embedded portion, from any condition, including excavation as required and careful removal of the pole. The item shall also include dismantling all connected fittings and accessories, such as light fittings, brackets, clamps, junction boxes, stay sets, cable supports and any other attachments, without causing unnecessary damage, loading, transporting and depositing the dismantled pole and all recoverable fittings at the MES AGE (E/M) Store or at any other location as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The work shall include backfilling of the excavation, dressing and making good the disturbed ground surface, and all labour, tools & plant, consumables and incidental works required for satisfactory completion, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
68Supply and erecting factory-made Steel Tubular Swaged Pole, Type 410-SP-31 (9.0 metre long), complete with cast iron/mild steel base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts and screws, conforming to IS:2713 (Part-I & Part-II). The pole shall be of welded and swaged construction with a longitudinal weld seam throughout its entire length. The pole shall be factory coated internally throughout and externally up to the planting depth with two coats of black bituminous paint, and the remaining external portion shall be finished with one coat of red oxide zinc chromate primer followed by two coats of aluminium paint. After erection, the portion of the pole up to 1.50 metres above the PCC coping shall be painted with two coats of approved synthetic enamel paint in alternate-coloured bands, each band 300 mm wide (05 Nos.), in colours as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The item shall also include marking of the pole serial number in letters and figures not less than 100 mm high using approved red synthetic enamel paint, as directed. The item includes all labour, tools and plant, loading, unloading, transportation from the manufacturer's works to the site of installation, lifting arrangements, consumables and incidental works required for proper erection of the pole, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.Notes: (i) Excavation, earthwork and PCC for the pole foundation shall be measured and paid for separately under the respective BOQ items.(ii) Pole serial numbers shall be allotted by the Engineer-in-Charge and shall be painted accordingly.
69Material and labour for PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundation, around the poles/stay etc complete all as specified and as directed.(Note :- Volume of pole / strut / stays embedded in concrete shall be deducted for the purpose of payment)
70Material and labour for PCC (1:2:4) type B-1, using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in coping, pedestal & similar work including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating including necessary form work, finishing the exposed surfaces of the concrete even & smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and as directed.(Note :- Volume of pole / strut / stays embedded in concrete shall be deducted for the purpose of payment)
71Material and labour for bracket fabricated from 40 mm dia GI tubing (Light Class), 1.20 metres long, bent to the required shape, complete with two Nos. MS clamps suitable for fixing on the existing steel tubular pole. The clamps shall be fabricated from 25 × 4 mm MS flat, complete with suitable size nuts, bolts and washers and securely holding the bracket to the pole. The MS clamps, nuts and bolts shall be cleaned and painted with one coat of red oxide zinc chromate primer followed by two coats of aluminium paint, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
