Supply Of heavy duty circular magnet , heavy duty circular magnet with following specification 1. application- circul ar lifting magnet suitable for lifting cold as well as hot ferrous material up to 600?c in a foundry enviro nment 2. operating voltage-220vdc 3. cold current- max.105 amps 4. cold power- min. 18.5 kw 5. se lf weight- total self-weight of the magnet shall not exceed 5 tons, inclusive of suspension chain, mast er bail, lugs, pins, and all other accessories 6. duty cycle- min 50% at a 10-minute cycle 7. magnet di ameter- 1650 mm with tolerance of -25.5 mm/+50 mm 8. minimum lifting capacities- the lifting capa cities of the magnet shall not be less than the following: a) pig iron (1 hm)-2359 kg, b) pig iron (2 brok en)-1225 to 1497 kg, c) steel turnings-771 kg 9. magnet conductor & insulation- magnet conductor sh all be made of premium electrical-grade copper, minimum copper purity shall be 99.99%, coil insulati on shall be class h 10. magnet body construction- the magnet shall be made of high-grade cast ste el, of welded construction, and shall be waterproof and mechanically robust, suitable for heavy-duty f oundry applications 11. bottom plate & sealing plate- a)heavy duty non-magnetic bottom plate and se aling plate shall be provided,b) material shall be wear-resistant, work-hardened manganese steel, c)pl ates shall protect the coil from damage due to impact, abrasion, and bumping 12. suspension chain a ssembly- a)heavy duty, annealed alloy steel, 3-legged chain shall be provided, b)chain shall be compl ete with a master bail suitable for crane hook suspension. heavy-duty lugs & pins shall be provided to connect the chain to the magnet 14. surge protection? a suitably rated surge suppressor shall in the magnet circuit 15. testing & test certificates? all relevant tests and test certificates shall be submitte d along with the supply. specn: 1. cold current: max 105amps, 2. cold power: 18.5 kw 3. self weight l ess than 5ton inclusive of chain, bail and other accessories. duty cycle: min. 50% at 10minutes cycle 5. diameter of magnet: 66inches -1 inch +3inch. 6. lifting capacities shall not be less than (a) pig iron 1hm - 2359kgs) (b) 2 broken pieces: 1225 (c) steel turnings: 771kg ]
