| 35 | S&F in repair Nylon wire bird proof netting of HDPE twine of 1.00mm dia and having mesh size 25mm x 25mm square or diamond type black UV stablized including supporting of all mesh netting by 10mm dia nylon rope by steel hooks of suitable size and other required fixing arrangments as in ceiling on existing trusses of hangers complete all as per manufacturer's instructions, specified & directed.Note:- Unit rate quoted by the contractor shall also include the following elements:-(a) Fixing & installation of wire netting with nylon rope and by other means as directed by Engr-in-charge/GE and shall be got done from manufacturer's team as per authorised firm handling netting solutions of skilled workers as per manufacturer's instructions all as specified and directed.(b) Provision of requisite necessary scafolding upto height of 25 m as well as other works nature i.e civil welding etc required to execute/ complete the work shall be provided by the contractor. please also note that scaffolding provided shall be of requisite strength/design to avoid any mishappening/accident. Any compansation on account of any accident/mishappening/damage occured shall be paid by the contractor as per rules and regulations of labour contract act or any other similar staturatory rule applicable.(c) Contractor shall arrange all safety measures for workers to avoid any mishappening during execution of work and also covered all workers with insurance.(d) The work has been executed at Hanger roof ceiling and no any extra payment shall be made by Govt for extra height. Contractor may quoted their rate as per site conditions with considering all above aspects. |

| 37 | Corrosion Protection to Existing Reinforcement(ii) Providing and applying Sika Rustoff 100 or equivalent, single component liquid that removes rust and prevents further rusting of steel structures by providing a passivating coat, according to specification. The rust remover should have a density of 1.01 kg/l at 30°C and the consumption of the material should be 0.2 kg/ square meter to be applied in 2 coats. The supplier must have their own manufacturing facility, should not be private label product or sourced from third party. The manufacturer must be an ISO 9001 & 14001 certified and valid certificates must be produced as proof. (iii) Providing and applying Sika Friazinc R or eqivalent, two component, low solvent, zinc rich epoxy resin based primer for steel, according to specification. The primer should have a mixed resin of 2.28 kg/l at +27°C and solid content ~76% by weight. The consumption of the material should be around 0.25 Kg/m2. The supplier must have their own manufacturing facility, should not be private label product or sourced from third party. The manufacturer must be an ISO 9001 & 14001 certified and valid certificates must be produced as proof. |
| 38 | (iv) Providing extra reinforcement with TMT bars as per site design requirement including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position, binding with G.i. wire of 18 gauge etc. complete in all respects. Additional reinforcement with adequate lap length & rings at required spacing shall be tied with existing reinforcement using binding wire or welded complete as per site requirement and directions of Engineer-incharge.(v) Providing and applying Sika AnchorFix-3030 or equivalent, a solvent and styrene free, epoxy acrylate based, 2-component anchoring adhesive according to specification. The anchoring adhesive should be CE certified, have ETA approval, suitable for cracked concrete, drinking water certified from WRAS, LEED Attestation available, Non-sag, even overhead and should have Compressive Strength ~70 N/mm2 as per ASTM D 695; Modulus of Elasticity in Compression ~7000 N/mm2 as per ASTM D 695; Tensile Strength in Flexure ~29 N/mm2 as per ASTM D 790; Tensile Strength ~15 N/mm2 as per ASTM D 638; Modulus of Elasticity in Tension ~3800 N/mm2 as per ASTM D 638. The manufacturer must be an ISO 9001 & 14001 certified and valid certificates must be produced as proof.Patch Repair with DUAL SHRINKAGE COMPENSATED, TROWELABLE FIBRE REINFORCED THIXOTROPIC REPAIR MORTAR @ upto 25mm(vii) Providing and applying Sika MonoTop-122 F / Sika Emaco S348 or equivalent, dual shrinkage compensated trowelable fiber reinforced, thixotropic high strength mortar for structural concrete repairs. The repair mortar should have a bulk density of ~1.3 kg/l at 27 ºC and should have Compressive Strength at an ambient temperature of +30°C according to ASTM C109 in 1 day ≥ 20 N/mm2 , in 7 days ≥ 35 N/mm2, in 28 days ≥ 45 N/mm2; Flexural Strength at an ambient temperature of +30°C according to EN 196 -1 in 7 days ≥ 6 N/mm2 , in (28 days) ≥ 9 N/mm2; Bond Strength at an ambient temperature of + 30°C according to ASTM C882 in 7 days ≥ 8 N/mm2, in 28 days ≥ 12 N/mm2. The consumption of the repair mortar should be ideally ~2200 kg/m3 at water: powder ratio of 0.16. The manufacturer must be an ISO 9001 & 14001 certified and valid certificates must be produced as proof.Note : (i) Contractor will have to make his own arrangement for scaffolding for execution of work upto the height of 4m No payment shall be admissible for this. (ii) For works exceeding the height of 4m payment for scaffolding will be under separate item. |
