XLPE UG cable through the duct including surveying the site for collecting information about under ground utility installations and other obstructions using suitable modern sensing equipments , restoring the damages occured if any, pit making , pilot drilling, pre remaining closing of pits with normal soil/filled sand/crusher sand and consolidation to the satisfaction of the road owner and traffic police as they insist , taking the cable to the open trenches, RMUs, transformer yard etc, mounting the cable including clamping after providing loop at 1.2m depth , putting HDPE (PE63.4kg./Sq.cm) at rising point(0.5m below ground level and 1.5 m above ground level) making RCC jointing chambers for straight joints if any, testing , commissioning , placing route markers at 100m interval , writing identification name , date of laying , date of commissioning etc.legibly on the cable rising using polyurethane paint etc..as per the direction of dept. officers, providing with as built laminated cable route drawing , marking the HDD pits, distance of pits from the boundary of the road , length of cable bit etc.including the cost of all materials, labour and hire charges , loading the cable from KSEB L stock yard and transporting the cable using contractor supplied trailer and unloading the same at work site .complete except the cost of 3 core 300 sq. mm XLPE UG Cable. |
| 3 | Doing straight joint of 3x300 mm2 11KV XLPE cable very carefully observing directions of manufactures and departmental staff including crimping of socket(cost index(e) : 1 included in Rate) |
| 4 | Doing one cable end termination on HT XLPE UG cables of sizes beyond 3x185 sqmm and upto and including 3x300 sq mm using the cable jointing kit supplied departmentally after making fencing,caution board and all other safety measures including charges for cable jointer etc. complete as per the direction of the departmental officers. |
| 5 | Fitting and erecting one HT Double Pole Structure using PSC pole in position including fitting 2 channel cross arms, digging and back filling pit in ordinary soil, drawing sufficient length of GI earthing leads through all cross arms to the ground for earthing (excluding provision of earthing). |
| 6 | Labour charges for loading HT PSC pole from the stacking place and unloading the same at work site (transportation by any vehicle). |

| 12 | Laying HT XLPE UG cable of sizes beyond 3x185 sq mm and upto and including 3x300 sq mm including conveying cable from stacking place to work site and laying it carefully using cable rollers through 150mm classB, 4.8mm thick GI pipe with GI fittings as per IS specification, supplied by the Contractor at culverts/bridges/risers etc. whereever necessary, fixing it properly to culvert/bridge/poles with all accessories,providing identification tags at 5m intervals, providing cable route markers (at 100m intervals)/ cable joint markers, inclusive of cost of all materials except cost of UG cable as per the direction of departmental officers at site |

| 15 | Providing one Earth using GI earth pipe of size 38.1mm dia, 2.5m length including digging separate pit (0.45x0.45x2.5m) at standard distance (1.5m) away from the pole/structure in ordinary soil & backfilling the pit with 15cm alternate layer of charcoal, salt and sand up to 90cm from the bottom. including the cost of 20kg salt, 25kg charcoal, excluding supply of earth pipe.
