| 16 | Providing , designing and fixing of 3.60 mt Height fencing of Galvanized and Thermoplastic Powder coated welded mesh system with SS Concertina Coil and SS Barbed wire ( blades 316 and wire SS 304 ) , including PVC H shaped post with 4 mm dia. 358 weld mesh, panel height 3.00 m and width 2.488m with 4 V Bends etc. the fencing produced by electrical resistance welding of galvanized wires and subsequently thermoplastic powder coated as per follows: Weld mesh Panels for the fence will meet the standards of EN 10223-7 with the following key specifications apart from the other points mentioned in the governing detailed specification: (Note: There is no existing Indian standards for Weld mesh panels for fencing Applications) Weld Shear strength: Minimum 50 % of the breaking strength of the smallest wire (In this case the vertical wire) Mesh Wire: Galvanized MS wire Specification for wire Diameter: IS 280 -2006 Tensile Strength of wire: Minimum 500 N/sq.mm Galvanizing of wire: 40 – 50 GSM as per IS 4826 (Measurement as per IS 6745) Uniformity of Coating: As per IS 2633 Adhesion test for coating: As per IS 6745 / IS 2629. Powder Coating on panels: The galvanized panels are subsequently Thermoplastic Powder Coated after welding with the thickness of minimum 250 Microns. Coating Standard: EN 10245-1/ IS 13871. Powder coating should withstand 1440 Hours of salt spray test Posts are `H' shaped post, MS material are then hot-dip galvanized to minimum 360GSM and then Thermo-plastic powder coated. Post will have with pre-welded base plate of minimum 400MPA strength using 8mm fillet weld, Base plate will have suitable holes to use SS316 M20*300mm Anchor boltswhich will be installed at site with Glue for better strength. Powder Coating on post: The hot galvanized posts are subsequently Thermoplastic Powder Coated after welding with the thickness of minimum 250 Microns. Coating Standard: EN 10245-1/ IS-13871 Powder coating should withstand 1440 Hours of salt spray test , fencing system will have 600 mm dia. Total height of fencing to be 2.456 mtr (excluding concertina coil) and width 2.5mtr (posts c/c) as per the detailed drawing and specifications which shall meet the BARC technical specification as directed by the Engineer-in-charge at all levels. (Design, preparation of Shop drawings by the contractor as per the site conditions and the same shall be approved by BARC/Engineer in charge before procurement/execution of work).Note : Test Certificate(s) for all material, coating, painting etc. to be provided by the bidder before and after execution of the work and the type test certificate should be from central electrochemical research institute. |

(2) Binding wire required for the work will have to be supplied by the contractor at their own cost and will not be measured for payment. (3) Cover blocks shall be of same grade of concrete. |

(2) Welding weights, connections, bolts and nuts shall not be measured for payment, but the cost of which shall be deemed to have been included in the rate.(3) All holes will be made by drilling only. Gas cutting of holes will not be permitted. (4) Electrodes conforming to IS 814 shall be used. (5) All test reports to be provided along with supply of materials. |
