| 2 | M & L for 7.5 cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregates of granite, trap or basalt of grading 2 (63 to 45 mm size) or 3 (50 to 20mm) spread, levelled, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with 8 to10 ton power roller complete all as specified and as directed. |

| 8 | M&L for premix bituminous macadam n.exc 75mm thickness using hot mix plant and mechanical paver with 4% binder (Paving bitumen VG 30 grade) content by weight of total mix, laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using 8 to 10 tonnes power roller completeall as specified and as directed.Note:- The minimum bitumen content shall be 4% of total mix. However, no price adjustment shall be made if bitumen content is more than 4% after design mix. |
| 9 | M & L for semi dense bituminous premix asphaltic dense concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness using graded crushed stone aggregate premixed with binder (paving grade bitumen VG 30 grade) @ 5.5% by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed.Note :- (i) Semi dense bituminous concrete shall be laid using self propelled hydrostatic paver finisher and preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting the mix in tipper.(ii) The minimum bitumen content is 5.5%of total mix. No price adjustment shall be made if bitumen content is more than 5.5% after design mix. |
