| 8 | Straightening of tilted LT/HT PCC/STP/ST Poles by excavation around pole base, providing and compacting approved quality gitti, boulders, stone ballast and other suitable packing materials at pole foundation, tightening/adjustment of existing stay set and stay wire, ramming and dressing of excavated earth to restore the pole in true vertical position, including all labour, tools & plants, transportation and incidental works. Packing materials shall be supplied by the contractor. Complete in all respects as per RESPO/REC norms and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 9 | Cutting, trimming and lopping of tree branches and vegetation fouling or dangerously close to existing 11 KV/33 KV overhead lines for maintaining statutory electrical clearances and ensuring safe, reliable and uninterrupted power supply, including climbing, pruning and removal of obstructing branches/trees, collection, loading, transportation and disposal of all cut tree material, logs, branches, leaves and other debris at a safe location approved by the Engineer-in-Charge. The work shall also include complete cleaning of roads, pathways, shoulders and surrounding areas affected during execution of the work, leaving the site neat and tidy. The contractor shall take all necessary safety precautions and arrange all labour, tools & plants, safety equipment, transportation and incidental materials required for satisfactory completion of the work. Complete in all respects as per RESPO/REC norms and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 10 | Providing and fixing earthing for LT/HT PCC/STP/ST Poles using approved size GI Earth Rod/GI Pipe Electrode, including excavation of earth pit, installation of earth electrode, backfilling with suitable soil and watering, providing and fixing GI earth wire/strip from earth electrode to pole body with necessary clamps, nuts, bolts and accessories, making proper electrical connection and testing to achieve earth resistance within permissible limits as specified under IE Rules, CEA Safety Regulations and relevant standards. The GI Earth Rod/GI Pipe Electrode and all associated materials shall be supplied by the contractor. Complete in all respects including labour, T&P, testing and commissioning as per RESPO/REC norms and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 11 | Providing and fixing of Cradle/Cage Guarding for LT/HT overhead lines at road crossings, route crossings and over Kanwar Route for ensuring statutory safety clearances in accordance with CEA Safety Regulations, IS 5613 and standard construction practices. The work shall include erection of guarding cross-arms on supporting poles, fixing of two numbers GI Guard/Bearer Wires (6 SWG, departmentally supplied), formation of cradle/cage guarding by cross-lacing the bearer wires with GI lacing wire at intervals not exceeding 1.0 metre, binding, clamping, tightening, providing supports and earthing of guarding arrangement at both ends, including all necessary fittings, nuts, bolts, binding wire, earthing materials, labour, tools & plants, transportation and incidental works required for complete installation. The measurement shall be on running metre basis of the guarded span, and the rate shall be deemed to include the complete guarding arrangement comprising bearer wires, cross-lacing, guarding cross-arms, supports, fittings and earthing for the specified length. GI Guard Wire (6 SWG) shall be issued by the Department, whereas guarding cross-arms, lacing wire (10/12 SWG), binding wire (14/16 SWG), earthing materials and all other accessories shall be supplied by the contractor. Complete in all respects as per RESPO/REC norms and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 12 | Providing and fixing of necessary materials for rectification, repair and tightening of HT line jumpers to ensure proper mechanical strength and reliable electrical continuity, including replacement of damaged jumper portions, jumper connectors, PG clamps, binding materials and other associated hardware as required, complete with cutting, jointing, tightening, testing and commissioning. The work shall include all labour, transportation, tools & plants, safety precautions and incidental materials required for satisfactory completion of the job. All materials required for the work shall be supplied by the contractor. Complete in all respects as per RESPO/REC norms and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 13 | Providing and fixing of LT PVC Spacer on existing LT bare conductor at required locations for maintaining proper conductor spacing and preventing conductor clashing, including supply and fixing of binding wire, clamps and all other necessary accessories/materials required for proper installation. The work shall include climbing, fixing, tightening, adjustment, testing and all labour, tools & plants, transportation, safety precautions and incidental charges necessary for satisfactory completion of the work. All materials including LT PVC Spacer, binding wire and associated accessories shall be supplied by the contractor. | 14 | INSULATION OF POLES, STAY WIRES & PUBLIC PROTECTION |
| 15 | Providing and insulating HT/LT poles against probable leakage current by supplying and wrapping UV-resistant, weatherproof insulating plastic sheet of minimum 50-micron thickness around the pole surface from ground level up to a height of 2.40 metres (8 feet), in not less than two complete layers with a minimum overlap of 50% between successive wraps. The insulating sheet shall be tightly secured at the top, middle and bottom using suitable binding arrangements to prevent slackness, displacement or slippage, ensuring that no portion of the pole surface remains exposed within the specified height. The work shall include cleaning of pole surface before wrapping, supply of insulating sheet, binding materials, labour, tools & plants, transportation, safety precautions and all incidental works required for satisfactory completion of the job. Complete in all respects as per CEA Safety Regulations, RESPO/REC norms and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 16 | Providing and fixing of rigid UV-stabilised uPVC Casing Pipe of 225 mm nominal outer diameter (9 inch) and minimum 4 mm wall thickness (non-pressure casing grade) as protective slip-casing over existing round Steel Tubular (ST)/Steel Tubular Pole (STP) poles from ground level up to a height of 2.50 metres (approximately 8 feet) per pole. The work shall include cutting the pipe to required length, slipping the casing over the pole or longitudinally slitting and closing it around the pole wherever required, proper alignment, fitting and securing the casing firmly with minimum 03 Nos. MS Clamps positioned at top, middle and bottom. The MS clamps shall be properly welded and fixed to prevent movement, displacement or tampering of the casing. The item shall be suitable for all classes of round poles including 9 Mtr., 11 Mtr. and 13 Mtr. ST/STP poles. The work shall also include cutting, welding, grinding, surface finishing, transportation, labour, tools & plants, safety precautions and all incidental materials required for complete installation. All materials including uPVC casing pipe, MS clamps and welding consumables shall be supplied by the contractor. | 17 | Providing and insulating stay wire/stay set against probable leakage current by supplying and wrapping UV-resistant, weatherproof insulating plastic sheet of minimum 50-micron thickness around the exposed portion of stay wire, in not less than two complete layers with a minimum overlap of 50% between successive wraps. The wrapping shall be carried out neatly and tightly, and securely fastened with suitable adhesive tape/binding tape at a minimum of four locations to prevent loosening, displacement or slippage. The work shall include cleaning of the stay wire surface before wrapping, supply of insulating sheet, tape, labour, tools & plants, transportation and all incidental materials required for complete and satisfactory execution of the work. All materials shall be supplied by the contractor. Complete in all respects as per CEA Safety Regulations, RESPO/REC norms and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 18 | Providing and fixing of rigid uPVC Pipe of 32 mm nominal outer diameter (1 inch) and 2–3 mm wall thickness as protective insulating casing over existing stay/guy wire for a length of approximately 2.50 metres per stay to prevent accidental public contact and enhance electrical safety. The work shall include cutting the pipe to required length, slipping the pipe over the stay wire or longitudinally slitting and fixing it around the stay wire wherever required, providing and fixing end caps at both ends, and securing the casing firmly with a minimum of 03 Nos. MS Clamps positioned at suitable locations. The MS clamps shall be properly welded/fixed to prevent movement, displacement or tampering of the casing. The work shall also include fabrication, welding, fitting, transportation, labour, tools & plants, safety precautions and all incidental materials required for complete installation. All materials including uPVC pipe, end caps, MS clamps, welding consumables and associated accessories shall be supplied by the contractor. | 19 | Providing and applying High-Intensity Retro-Reflective Radium Tape of minimum 50 mm width, Class-2 (Engineering Grade), weatherproof, UV-resistant and suitable for outdoor use, on insulated HT/LT poles, stay sets, guarding arrangements, flex frames and other specified electrical structures for enhanced visibility and public safety. The work shall include surface cleaning and preparation, cutting the tape to required size, proper alignment, fixing and application of warning bands at locations and heights as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, ensuring firm adhesion and long-term durability under field conditions. The item shall include supply of radium tape, labour, tools & plants, transportation and all incidental materials required for satisfactory completion of the work. Complete in all respects as per RESPO/REC norms and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 20 | Providing, erecting, maintaining and subsequently removing Bamboo (Baans-Balli) fencing/barricading around Distribution Transformers, Double Pole Structures, Four Pole Structures and other exposed electrical installations located in open areas for protection of public safety. The barricading shall be constructed using sound, seasoned bamboo poles of minimum 3.5 inch diameter, embedded approximately 0.90 metre (3 feet) below ground level and extending up to approximately 2.10 metres (6 feet) above ground/road level. The barricade shall consist of minimum four horizontal layers of bamboo securely lashed and bound with GI binding wire to form a continuous all-round protective enclosure. The spacing between adjacent vertical bamboo posts shall not exceed 1.50 metres centre-to-centre. The work shall include excavation, erection, fixing, binding, bracing, maintenance of barricading in serviceable condition for a period of 13 days, dismantling after completion of the required period, removal of materials, transportation, labour, tools & plants and all incidental works required for satisfactory completion of the job. All materials including bamboo, GI binding wire and accessories shall be supplied by the contractor. Measurement shall be made and payment shall be made per running metre of barricade erected, the specified height and depth being deemed to be included in the item rate. Complete in all respects as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 21 | Providing and fixing, replacement, correction and proper positioning of Stay Insulator (Porcelain/Polymer Type of approved make) in existing stay set arrangements on LT/HT poles, including loosening and re-tensioning of stay wire, adjustment of stay assembly, fixing of insulator at the prescribed height, tightening of stay wire to maintain proper mechanical tension and pole stability as per standard line construction practices. The work shall include supply of stay insulator, nuts, bolts and other minor accessories as required, along with all labour, tools & plants, transportation, safety precautions and incidental works necessary for satisfactory completion of the job. | 22 | SAFETY SIGNAGE & SITE IDENTIFICATION |
| 23 | Providing, designing, printing, supplying and fixing Fire-Resistant Safety Flex Warning Hoardings at Pandals, Temples, Religious Congregation Areas, Kanwar Routes, Road Crossings and other locations as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for public awareness and electrical safety. The work shall include preparation of artwork/design by the contractor incorporating electrical safety messages, statutory caution notices, hazard pictograms, departmental publicity/IEC content and bilingual warnings such as “KHATRA–BIJLI / DANGER–ELECTRICITY” or as approved by the Department. The design shall be submitted by the contractor and shall be got approved/finalised from the Department prior to printing.The hoardings shall be made of fire-resistant/star-flex material of minimum 440 GSM with high-quality full-colour weatherproof printing and shall be provided in various sizes such as 3 ft × 2 ft, 8 ft × 4 ft, 4 ft × 4 ft or other dimensions as directed at site. The item shall include fabrication and painting of suitable MS/GI Angle Iron Frame, fixing of flex on the frame, erection, grouting/clamping, fastening and securing the hoarding at the designated location, including all accessories, nuts, bolts, welding, transportation, labour, tools & plants and incidental works required for complete installation. All materials including design, flex printing, MS/GI frame and fixing accessories shall be supplied by the contractor. Complete in all respects as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 24 | Conducting detailed pre-execution physical survey of Distribution Transformers (DTs), LT/HT Poles, Double Pole Structures, Four Pole Structures, Stay Sets, Guarding Locations and other vulnerable electrical installations falling under the jurisdiction of EDC Hapur along the notified Kanwar Route, including collection of field data, GPS mapping and recording of geo-coordinates of all identified locations. The work shall further include preparation of survey records, identification of safety deficiencies and vulnerable points, and submission of survey data in approved format.After completion of the assigned works, the contractor shall carry out post-execution documentation by taking GPS-tagged/Geo-coordinated digital photographs of completed works clearly indicating location coordinates, date and time stamps, and shall prepare location-wise completion records. The contractor shall submit all survey data, GPS coordinates, geo-tagged photographs, reports and related documents in soft copy (digital format) and hard copy, duly verified and certified by the concerned Engineer. The item shall include all labour, transportation, GPS-enabled devices, data collection, documentation, software processing, report preparation and all incidental expenses required for satisfactory completion of the work.
