80 mm मोटाई में 1:1.5:3 से बना हुआ अथवा पत्थर का block जिसकी मोटाई 20 सेमी., उंचाई 40 सेमी., होगी व block के टॉप की धार गोलाई में की जावेगी। block के स्थान पर इसी नाप का मोके पर निर्मित block भी स्वीकार्य होगा। मोके पर edge block नहीं लगाने की स्थिति में प्रति रनिंग मी. 0.08 घमी. सीमेंट कंक्रीट की दर से edge block के अंतर्गत सीमेंट कंक्रीट कटोती की जावे।

सीमेंट कंक्रीट सड़क की ऊपर की सतह पर 1:2:4 अनुपात की कंट्रोल्ड कंक्रीट एम 20 ग्रिड की 20/25 मिमी. साइज़ की ग्रिट क्रेशर से टूटी हुई को मिलाना, डालना तथा निडिल तथा मतही कम्पन मशीन (वाईब्रेटर) चलाना तथा न खिसकने वाली सतह के लिये, चाहे गए ग्रेड, केम्बर तथा सुपर एलिवेशन में तैयार करना ।
