Name of Work:- ADDITION / ALTERATION AND SPECIAL REPAIR TO BUILDING NOs Z-17, Z-18, Z-19 AND R-3 AT RS COLABA, MUMBAI

1Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish without damaging the structure & cleaning and disposal of debris out side the MoD Land etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
2Material and labour for 10mm thick sand faced plastering on external surfaces using factory-manufactured pre-mix or ready-mix mortar as the setting coat. The plaster shall include the addition of WP Ultra Tech WP+200 (or an equivalent product) at a rate of 200ml per bag of mortar. This treatment applies to bricks or concrete surfaces with a recrene finish, also providing and applying dubbing coat using the forced application (guniting) method, with an average thickness of 20mm thick plaster, made from ready-mix pre-packed proportioned dry mix mortar blended with polypropylene (PP) fiber, and mixed with liquid water proofing compound. This treatment is for non fair faces of brick walls or concrete surfaces, including external surfaces. The work includes transporting materials, mixing, curing and other related activities, as per the specifications complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
3M&L for applying 12 mm thick internal plaster in ready mix cement plaster with fair finish at all heights and locations in one coat for masonry (except stone masonry) and concrete surfaces including racking out joints, hacking of concrete surface, watering, finishing, curing, scaffolding etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
4M&L for applying 10 mm thick Ceiling plaster in ready mix cement plaster with fair finish at all heights and locations in one coat for masonry (except stone masonry) and concrete surfaces including racking out joints, hacking of concrete surface, watering, finishing, curing, scaffolding etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
5Demolition of existing treatment of roof any type and preparing the surface by cleaning the concrete surface with wire brush and high pressure water jet and ensure that it is free of dust, oil, grease, loose particles vegetation roots and disposal of debris out side the MoD Land etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge
6Material and labour for Plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-0 (using 12.5mm graded crushed stone aggregate) mixed with liquid water proofing compound and 1:30 slope to be maintained complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.Note:- WPC will be measured and paid separately
7Supply only Liquid water proofing compound.(ISI Marked) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
8Material and labour for 10mm thick rendering in CM 1:4 mixed with liquid water proofing compound on fair faces of brick work or on concrete surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.Note:- WPC will be measured and paid separately
9(i) M&L for preparation of newly plastered/RCC surface and making the surface completely dry and applying bitumen primer @ 0.30 ltr per sqm.(ii) Applying APP based polymeric membrane having minimum weight of 3kg/Sqm and minimum 3mm thick reinforced with polyester non woven fabric ( weight not less than 150gms/sqm) over bituminous primer surface by torching complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
10M&L for Cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 ( 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in coping, roof padding, in roof kerb or mud stops, water troughs and like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angle and throating with necessary formwork complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
11M&L for plain cement concrete tiles 25cm x 25cm x 22 mm thick with grey cement and no pigment machine pressed, set jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry in roofs, including 15 mm thick screed bed or bedding layer for laying tiles in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
12Removal of existing affected, distressed, loose cover concrete including loose damaged concrete from all structural members up to beyond the corroded steel reinforcements to a depth of 10 mm minimum behind the reinforcement only at affected concrete (Good & sound concrete should not be chipped / damaged) by chipping / hacking with chisel and hammer or by mechanical means like light weight chisel hammer, etc. for all height as per Technical Specification without causing detrimental effect to any part of the structure and removal and disposal of debris at designated location including all material, labour, tools, plant and machineries, lead & lifts etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
13Jacketing the existing column of size as shown at site by removing the concrete cover to reinforcement by chipping or other suitable means to expose the reinforcement of existing column in order to make available the same for binding the extra reinforcement as shown in the drawing and also removal of rust, scales of the reinforcement in order to provide and apply approved make of epoxy resin to get proper bond with newly laid M-35 grade concrete. The aforesaid concrete shall be laid by the sides of the existing column with uniform thickness of 115 mm or as specified, for jacketing purposes thereby increasing the sectional dimensions by 150 mm or as specified (excluding finishing) at any height with requisite shuttering, centering, scaffolding, propping, repairing the existing surface as specified and also removal of debris, curing etc. complete as per design and drawing etc.complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.Note :- Reinforcement will be measured and paid separately under respective item of schedule.
14Cleaning of rust / scales / corrosion from reinforcement bars, should be carried out using acid based rust remover, having a combination of acid based material, corrosion inhibitors and dispersing agents, Reebakleens RR of Fosroc or equivalent having Specific Gravity 1.16 - 1.22 @ 25°C. The material to be applied to the rusted metal bar for a complete wetting of rusted metal surface, using brush and leaving it to react for 16-24 hours. & washing surface with fresh water as required to exposed reinforcement bar including labour, tools, plant and machineries complete as per detail specification complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. The mode of measurement will be for the concrete area prepared.
15Providing & applying inhibition coats/system to exposed reinforcement bars & also new bars, after cleaning & removing scales and rust completely, Nitozinc Primer of Fosroc or equivalent, two component epoxy zincrich primer based on metallic zinc and epoxy resin which on mixing gives a grey coloured liquid Anti corrosive coat containing Active 'Zinc-rich' system which combats corrosion by electro chemical means. The zinc rich primer shall have specific gravity of 1.75, DFT-40 microns/coat, Fully dry/Recoatable- 45 minutes to 1 hour, it shall be applied at 40 microns dry film thickness. Typical application includes surface preparations by cleaning steel surface to a bright condition paying particular attention to the back of exposed steel bars, mixed two components slow speed heavy duty drill fitted with a paddle mixer, applying unbroken coat with suitable brush and allow to dry, after 30 mins apply second coat to ensure complete cover to exposed steel/ rebar etc. complete as approved by Engineer-in-Charge shall be used as per manufacturer’s specification in two coats including all labours, tools and machineries, plants, necessary surface preparation and necessary protection after and during work. The mode of measurement will be for the concrete area prepared.
16Repairs to the deteriorated / damaged areas of RCC elements in the structure shall be carried out by using powder Polymer Modified repair mortar. The polymer modified mortar is applied when the epoxy bonding coat is still tacky. In one application 25 mm thickness shall be built. Subsequent layer shall be built with one bond coat of Polymer modified cement slurry. The polymer modified repair mortar shall be mixed, applied and cured as per technical specification complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
17Providing and applying Fosroc Nitobond EP bonding agent or of any other make which shall be a solvent free epoxy based two component resin system. The bonding agent shall be applied by brush & should remain in tacky state after application for a minimum period of 5-6 hrs at 20 degree C & 2-3 hrs at 30 degree C. The product shall achieve 50 N/mm2 compressive strength, 20 N/mm2 tensile strength, 35 N/mm2 flexural strength and 10 N/mm2 shear strength as per BS 6319 standards. The adhesive bond to the concrete substrate shall exceed the tensile strength of the host concrete etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.Note:The new repair mortar/concrete should be applied within overlay time of epoxy bonding agent mentioned as per manufacturer's data sheets.
18Providing, drilling holes and placing PVC based min 75mm depth nozzles at spacing of 200 to 500mm center to center spacing depending on porosity of substrate , fixing nozzle with Rendeorc Plug and injecting material Fosroc Cebex® 100, a chloride-free, plasticised expanding grout admixture in powder form, dosed at 225 gm per 50 kg cement, for use in bed grouting, duct grouting, and non-shrink infilling. Ensures high fluidity at low water/cement ratio, up to 4% expansion (ASTM C827), improved durability, and early strength without altering setting time. Compatible with OPC (not High Alumina Cement), applied within 20 minutes of mixing. Approx yield: 36–57 litres per 50 kg cement based on mix. seal the cracks with Rendeorc Plug after Injecting grout, use PPE; avoid skin/eye contact and dust inhalation complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
19Drilling holes into existing concrete substrate for anchoring of new anchoring rebars with 8 mm dia shear connectors at 0.35-0.4 m c/c (6 to 8 Nos/Sqm) as per drawing and for additional rebar provision in repair area and fixing with Styrene Free Vinyl Ester-Resin based chemical anchor grout Lokfix E45T of Fosroc make or equivalent. Drilling hole of diameter 4 mm larger to rebar dia drilling depth: min 10 times the rebar dia including cleaning, cutting, fabricating, chemical, tools, tackles etc. completed as directed by EIC. The chemical should have ETA approval for Diamond Drilling, LEED Compliant VOC Level, Seismic C1 & C2 testing as part of EAD 330499-01-0601.Lokfix E45T possess following properties Compressive Strength -100 MPa, Flexural Strength - 15 Mpa, Shore D Hardness-90, Thermal Conductivity - 0.65W/m.K. including all labours, tools and machineries, plants, necessary surface preparation and necessary protection after and during work. Measurement shall be made per number of shear connectors installed. Steel shall be measured and paid separately as catered in subsequent items complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
20M&L for Replacing Existing / Additional Reinforcement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. As mentioned here-in-below:-
21Corrosion Resistant Steel (CRS) for Columns (400 kg/m^3) for jacketing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
22S&F Corrosion Resistant Steel (CRS) for slab and other structural surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Reinforcement cosidered as 80 kg/ sq.M considering Approx 25 beams may need reinforcement however the qty may vary at site as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
23S&F Corrosion Resistant Steel (CRS) for side wall complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.Note:- Reinforcement cosidered as 80 kg/ sq.M considering 120 beams may need reinforcement in Replacement however the qty may vary at site as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
24Demolition of R.C.C. work manually by mechanical means including stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable material out side the MoD Land etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge as under :- (a) Cupboard boxes (b) Balcony parapet wall (c) Stair case parapet wall (d) Chajjas-Window and other rubbish as per site requirement.
25M & L for providing and casting in position a micro cement concrete mix of Grade M-35 made with clean sharp aggregates 10 mm down along with addition of Non shrink admixture including transporting, mixing, laying, curing, etc including S&F of formwork complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
26Demolition of brick work in lime or cement mortar including plaster, paint, etc. manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material, disposal of debris out side the MoD Land etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge
27M&L for Brick work with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks of class designation 7.5 in superstructure above plinth level upto floor five level in all shapes and sizes in Cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
28M&L for repairing to the existing RCC structural members (vertical or horizontal) using ready mix Micro Concrete of approved brand where the thickness of repair is more than 30 mm and upto 115 mm It can be used for carrying out extensive repairs to beams, columns and other structural elements, repairing of structural members subjected to repetitive loading & for Jacketing of beams, columns and other structural elements for strengthening including supply and fixing of form work complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Bond coat application to be measured and paid separately.
29Providing & Fixing wired mesh/wired fabric (12.5mm x 24 SWG) as required over junctions of concrete & brick / block masonry or any other specified location at all heights including minimum 200mm overlap at all joints / junction prior to plastering, drilling, nailing etc. complete as directed By Engineer-in-Charge.
30Material & Labour for applying Two coats of 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10 sqm over new surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 45Treatment of sunken floor slab comprises of the following specifications and all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge as follows.(i) Material and labour for cleaning of the sunken /lowered portion of the RCC slab surface (including vertical total depth plus skirting height) of floors by wire brush, chiseling out any mortar sticking to the surface and brooming / washing completely. 40 mm avg thickness PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 using 12.5 mm graded aggregate as in padding concrete to achieve proper slope including 50 mm dia 350 mm long medium grade GI pipe spouts with wire gauge on inside mouth to be fixed.(ii) Rendering to uneven surfaces with 10 mm thick using factory manufactured pre mix / ready mix mortar addition and including liquid WPC of UltraTech WP+ 200 or other equivalent @ 200ml per bag of mortar fill it with water and check dampness and seepage. where dampness and seepage noticed nozzles shall be fixed and grouting carried out. (iii) All junctions points of side walls where CI/GI pipes are passing through shall be sealed with epoxy putty. (iv) After drying putty wash the slab and sides of sunken portion with water and make it clean and clear (v) Material and labour for applying two coat of polymer modified cementitious water proofing coating as per manufactures instructions to bottom and vertical sides up to finished floor level +100 mm height. The thickness of two layer shall be 1 mm. When the second layer is still sticky, coarse sand spry shall be carried out or vertical and bottom surface of the sunken portion all as specified and directed. (vi) Plaster the bottom and sides up to bottom of the skirting with minimum 20 mm thick using factory manufactured pre mix / ready mix mortar addition and including WPC of UltraTech WP+ 200 or other equivalent. @ 200ml per bag of mortar including rounding of corners and junctions sloping towards spout. Note: Test the water proofed area (ponding test) by filling water for atleast 72 hours and tested for leakage seepage and to the entire satisfaction of GE . Test shall be done in presence of reps of PMG and record for each sunken slab shall be maintained. The treatment shall be carried out by authorised applicators of chemicals. (vii) All pipes laid in sunken portion shall be covered with 50 mm thick PCC 1:3:6 all around after painting with anticorrosive black Japan paint (viii) Height up to and including 14th floor
46M&L for CI Floor trap dia of outlet 75mm with CP grating including jointing to waste pipe fixed in cement concrete type B-1 (1:2:4) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
47Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), including disposal of debris out side the MoD land etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
48M&L non skid coloured ceramic tiles 300 x 300 x 6 to 7mm thick, as in floors etc, set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match over and including bedding layer of 20mm thick in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

61S&F for single piece length of pre polished machine cut kota stone as in jambs/cills of windows 18-20 mm thick laid and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab over 15 mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 including rubbing and mirror polishing and necessary bull nosing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.Note : Kota stone single piece of Cill will be fixed in two steps.
