| 19 | (i) The panel shall be of metal-clad, LSC-2B, PM class construction, compartmentalized for breaker, busbar, cable termination, and metering sections. The enclosure shall offer a degree of protection not less than IP4X externally and IP2X internally, fabricated CRCA sheet steel, with powder coating in standard RAL finish. Paint thickness 40 to 50 microns. All switchgear components including VCBs and relays shall be SCADA-compatible with IEC 61850 protocol from same make.Stainless steel tank should be of minimum 2mm thickness .(ii) Each VCB shall be draw-out type with a motorized spring-charged mechanism mounted at a height of 500mm above the finished floor level . A multifunction digital meter shall be provided on incomer for measurement of V, I, PF, KW, KVA, KVAR, kWh, kVAH, KVARH, Hz, PF , THD% with RS485 port and accuracy class of 0.5. shall include surge arrestor & includind DC Power bank of 110 volt comprising of 2 volt x 55 nos batterires along with copper wound battery charger complete all as specified and directed. |
| 20 | (iii) The panel shall include a continuous earth bus of 50mm x 6mm copper, mechanical interlocks for safety, cable termination lugs, and epoxy bushing or plug-in termination systems. Control wiring shall be executed using FRLS 1100V-grade copper conductors (1.5 sq.mm for control, 2.5 sq.mm for CT/PT), with ferrules and wire tags in PVC cable ducts. (iv) Additional provisions shall include arc protection system with optical sensors (overall response time <100 ms), Zigbee or wireless thermal sensors for busbar and cable joints, trip/alarm annunciators, indication lamps, and mechanical spring operation indicators. The make of HT panel , VCB, relay , Wire less sensor , meters and vacuum interrupter shall be of same make. The scope includes complete supply, installation, wiring, testing, earthing, Programing and commissioning as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. |

Accidental overpressure due to an internal arc is limited by the opening of the safety valve, at the bottom of the metal enclosure, away from the operator. |

Internal Arc Type Test Report for IAC AFL R21 kA for 1 sec for both tank & cable box should have been for minimum 3 way / 3 Function RMU, min. 30 nos. of dead short circuit operation at full load. Plug in type of extensibility must be provided and coupling busbar should not be exposed to air to avoid oxidation of busbars. and it should be have 2 seperate apertures for disk and earth switch operation Extension of cubicle should only require 450mm to handle and the gap between the coupled RMU’s must be within 10mm. Rmu should be equiped with directional FPI. All operations shall be from front of the RMU, including access to cable bushings. Cable bushings along the sides or the rear of the RMU are not acceptable.further manufacturer should ensure that their engineer should be at customer site for the supervision of commissioning of RMU. |
