Complete dismantling of all mechanical parts of the HT switchgear after removing to a workable position inside the sub-stn. After dismantling of all the components properly overhauling by petrol & transformer oil to remove carbon particles & after overhauling re-fixed as per existing way for interlocking arrangement, bush spring etc.

Complete checking, cleaning and overhauling of H.T. Bus-bar sleeves tightness of various jumpers and spares etc.

Thorough cleaning of the tanks oil chamber by removal of sludge & other parts of the breaker.

Adjustment of all linkage and contact movement of HT breaker.

Necessary dehydration & filtration of the transformer oil for the aforesaid switchgear including filling of approx 120 L fresh transformer oil including enforcement of dielectric strength of transformer oil testing up to the voltage of 40KV DC for one minute as per relevant code of practice & satisfaction of EIC.

Necessary checking, testing of PT circuit including tripping test through all relays, primary injection through CT & measured secondary current of relays are to be made at site in presence of electrical engg.

Supply and replacement of Trip coil(110V DC)

Disconnection the HV & LV leads from the bushing end at the transformer cable boxes and to be kept on the proper place in presence of E.I.C.

Opening of the top cover and conservator tank with the bushing and the core and coil to be lifted from transformer tank and to be kept on the proper place with the help of the chain and pulley.

Thorough cleaning and removing of sludge from the transformer tank, core and coil assembly by hot transformer oil or jet cleaner as per direction of the E.I.C.

Testing of the transformer for IR value, Magnetic balance, winding resistance, ratio

Supply and fixing of new gasket and petroleum jelly of all over the transformer.

Cleaning of the conservator tank with remove of sludge also cleaning the oil level indicator glass up to the satisfaction of Eng-in-charge.

Necessary dehydration and filtration of the existing transformer oil and supplied by the dept and filling the transformer. Di-electric strength of the transformer oil will be measured at 40KV D.C. voltage to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Reconnection of the both H.V. & L.V. sides as per the direction of engineer-in-charge.
