Replacement of T4 ,T5 ,S2 junction towers ,S3 conveyor counter tower, gravity towers of conveyor P3B,P5A and P6 at Q10 ,Willingdon Island,FACT CD.Scope of work:Collection of required structural materials from FACT -CD Stores and transport to the work site at Willingdon Island installation at Q10 berth.New structure shall be fabricated as per the instruction of the Officer - in -Charge to meet site requirement.Existing structures at various locations and at all heights shall be dismantled/removed and replaced with newly fabricated one to meet the site requirement after obtaining the safety clearance from the Operation Dept.Providing necessary temporary support, scaffolding wherever necessary as per the site requirement shall be in the scope of the contractor. Required edge preparation & welding and necessary modification works like providing additional supports,bracing etc shall be done as per the instruction of the Officer - in -Charge.Required painting work on the newly fabricated/erected structural as per the activity no.02 of this contract is also included in the scope of the contractor.

Cleaning and Painting:Scope of work:Structural surfaces are to be cleaned by grit blasting and manually by wire brushing (if reqd) as per the instruction of the Officer-in -Charge to the extent that entire surface is free from dirt, dust,rust, oil,grease or any foreign material.After cleaning applying one coats of self priming Coal Tar epoxy paint,\\"Rust-O-Seal\\" Of Asian Paint / \\"Protecteros CTE Matric\\" of Berger Paints or equivalent approved quality Coal Tar epoxy having volume of solids 70% (Approx.), at all heights.After erection applying second coats any area inaccessible after erection shall be painted beforehand.All costs incurred in painting including cost of paints,primers,painting equipments,cleaning equipments,handling charges,scaffolding and any other incidental expenses will be under contractor's scope.

Scrap Removal and Transport to FACT CD Scrap yard:Scope of work:-The site shall be cleaned after the structural replacement work.All scrap materials has to be removed from Q10 ,Willingdon Island installation and shall be transported to scrap yard at FACT Cochin Division,Amabalamedu after taking the weight and to be deposited in the appropriate areas earmarked for different materials as per instructions. Usable materials shall be transported / stacked to specific locations at Willingdon Island installation as per instruction Please Enable Macros to View BoQ information
