Servicing of H.T./L.T motor having works as under:- Carrying out minor repair of the coils & the insulation of the stator. Repair /replacement of lose/missing & broken wedges fixing new magnetic wedges. Repair of damaged insulation of HT leads. repair re enforcing loose lugs. Decarburization / cleaning / heating /varnishing / baking of stator winding for protection against moisture /dirt & dust.Decarburization / cleaning & core plating & varnishing of rotor lamination for any hot spot after conducting magnetic flux loop test & repair of rotor core.Testing/ checking of bearings. Fixing of new bearings, both sides & re-greasing, Shaft trueness 0-0 checking on lathe Checking of end cover & repair work on end cover.Repair/ replacement of RTD/ BTD/ space heater, assembling of motor, painting of motor, Carrying out necessary tests before starting the overhauling & Final testing checking of Motor, IR Value, Resistance test, inductance test and testing of motor at site 130-160 KW motorOverhauling of the motor and testing of the motor (work as shown in 2)
