| 9 | Sealing of joints : Providing and applying Sika® MultiSeal AP or equivalent, a self-adhesive, rubber-modified bituminous sealing tape laminated with aluminum foil for sealing and repairing applications against water ingress. In roofs, facades, broken roof tiles, leaking gutters, chimneys, roof lights, caravans, trailers, and various ductwork types. Technical Specifications: Thickness ~1.1 mm, tensile strength ≥ 130 N/25 mm (ASTM D1000), elongation ≥ 80%, service temperature range -20°C to +80°C. Following application process (Unroll a short length of tape remove 100 to 150 mm of the adhesive release liner from the underside of the tape. Apply this length of tape onto the substrate, centrally over the joint, extending a minimum of 30 to 40 mm over each side of the joint. Press the applied tape onto the substrate with a silicone / rubber hand-held seam pressure roller. Continue to apply the tape by unrolling and removing the adhesive release liner upto full length of joint or corner. Press the tape onto the substrate with the pressure roller) All complete as per direction of engineer-in-charge. The work shall be got done through the authorized applicator of the manufacturer. |
| 10 | Preparing the plaster of thickness up to 15mm over the brick masoney surface by providing and applying a bond coat of Sika Latex or equivalent:Water:cement - 1:4:6 with sika Latex consumption @100gm/sqm on the wall surface followed by hand mix of cementitious mortar 1:4 to be mixted with permeability reducing polymer Sika Latex @ 400gm/sqm (6%) by weight of cementitious content at time of mixing with water as per manufacturer's recommendations including all lead life, levelling the surface, curing etc complete.The work shall be got done through the authorised applicator of the manufacturer. |
| 11 | Providing, mixing & applying two component epoxy resin concrete bonding coat Sikadur 32 LP IN or equivalent on prepared RCC surfaces as per manufacture specification including preparation of surface by chipping and thoroughly cleaning of surface complete wherever required in consumption of 0.4 kg/Sqm complete all as specified and directed by engineer in charge. The product should comply with ASTM C 881 Type II Grade 2 Class B+C and bond strength should be 10 MPa. The work shall be got done through the authorised applicator of the manufacturer. |
| 12 | Rebuilding the section of damaged RCC elements to its original size in the thickness of 10mm and above by hand application by providing and applying PMM with Sika MonoTop®-122 F or equivalent,dual shrinkage compensated trowelable fiber reinforced,thixotropic high strength formulation for repair. The repair mortar should have a bulk density of ~1.3 kg/l at 27 ºC and should exhibit following minimum physical properties:1. Compressive Strength at an ambient temperature of +30°C according to ASTM C109 on a 70 mm Cube in (1 day) ~ ≥ 20 N/mm2 , in (7 days) ~ ≥ 35 N/mm2, in (28 days) ~ ≥ 50 N/mm22. Flexural Strength at an ambient temperature of +30°C according to EN 196 -1 in (7 days) ~ ≥ 6 N/mm2 , in (28 days) ~ ≥ 9N/mm23. Bond Strength at an ambient temperature of + 30°C according to ASTM C882 in (7 days) ~ ≥ 8 N/mm2, in (28 days) ~ ≥ 12 N/mm2The consumption of the repair mortar should be ideally ~2200 kg/m3 at water: powder ratio of 0.16 (Complete finished item with all leads and lifts). | 13 | Surface Preparation : Prepare the metal Surface to make it sound & free from any contamination. Abrade the exposed surfaces to reveal bright metal. Sealing of all anchors/bolts with moisture insensative epoxy putty Sikagard 694 F(I) or equivalent. Providing & applying Sikalastic 10 primer EP or equivalent, primer coat of epoxy primer by roller/ airless spray with a coverage @ 4-6 m2/kg followed by broadcasted with quartz sand. Applying 2 coats @ 1.5 to 1.6kg/sqm of Sikalastic®-590 IN or equivalent, one component polyurethane based liquid applied membrane with improved water ponding resistance, excellent UV resistance, excellent bonding with non-porus substrate, good crack bridging capacity and great aesthetics. Sika Fabric 50 to be layed over first coat in wet condition followed by application of second coat by brush or roller. The coating should have Shore A hardness ~50 (7 days, +27 °C) as per ASTM D2240, Tensile strength ~2.0 N/mm2 (Free film, 14 days, +30 °C) as per ASTM D412, Elongation at break ~300 % (Free film, 14 days, +30 °C) as per ASTM D412, Tensile adhesion strength ≥ 1.5 N/mm2 as per ASTM D4541, Tear strength ~20 N/mm (Free film, 14 days, +30 °C) as per ASTM D624, Solar Reflectance Index 106 as per ASTM E1980-19, Water resistance : No blisters or peeling when subjected to ponding water for 72 h. All the pipe penetration must be treated with Sikagrad 694 F(I), moisture insensative epoxy putty to seal the peripheri of the pipe before application of waterproof coating. all as per specification & direction of the engineer-in-charge. The work shall be got done through the authorised applicator of the manufacturer. |
