2NOTES FOR ALL ITEMS OF BOQ:- (i) Item No 1.00 to 65.00 The rates quoted by the contractor shall include for supply & erecting scaffoldings upto 30m height alongwith necessary fittings & fixtures for execution of the works and after working the scaffolding shall be removed and take away. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account.(ii)Cleaning the floor surface area after painting work if contractor fail to cleaning the floor surface a recovery of Rs. 75/- per Sqm of floor area shall be made from his dues.(iii)The work pertaining to Water Proofing shall be executed from authorized applicator of manufacturer of which the materials is proposed to be used by the contractor and approved by Garrison Engineer.
3Chipping , removing carefullly concrete work by low impact hammer ,breakar without damaging the structure & cleaning and disposal of debries out side the premises etc. complete as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Hard concrete should not be removed by force.
4Material and Labour for Clean existing reinforcement with wire/ rotary wire brush, making the surfaces free from loose material dirt etc. complete and applying two coats of alkaline rust converting primer FEOVERT of Krishna Conchem or Roff rust cleaner of Piddilite or Dr. Fixit Rust removal or ShaliRust of STP Ltd. on the rebars, including cleaning the reinforcement, wirebrushing to remove loose rust spalls, wash the rebars with clean water within 3 min and wipe it dry.
5Material and Labour for applying two coats of Epoxy based Zinc primer in a span of four hours over the treated rebars and allow to dry for six hours. The application shall be by brush. Epoxy primer for steel of make / brand - Corroseal-ZR of Krishna Conchem or Dr. Fixit Epoxy zinc primer
6Material and Labour for cleaning all loose laitance on the concrete substrate and applying one coat of epoxy bonding agent on exposed concrete surface to ensure bond between old concrete & new concrete by brush application. Make / brand MONOBOND SBR of Krishna Conchem or Dr. Fixit epoxy bonding agent or Shalicrete URP of STP Ltd.
7Material and Labour for Building up the profile of structural members by using latex additives(MONOBOND) modified air cured mortar system (Polymer modified mortar) (1:5:15 = 1 monobond-5Cement-15 sand) -in damaged areas in 25mm to 30 mm thickness including leveling profliling etc complete
8Taking down existing bitumen felt roof treatment including cement mortar bedding and cleaning the surface and removal outside the MoD land, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note :- 1. Taking down earthing strips incl insulators from roof for treatment and re-fixing of same with existing specification in the same position after laid APP membrane including replacement of broken insulators, PVC rawl plus & screws etc. are deemed to be inclusive of rate quoted by the contractor.2. Unit rate quoted shall also include for removal of PVC water storage tank wherever existing carefully and refixing at the same or other position after completion of roof repair work3. APP work shall be carried out on RCC PENT roof at 20 -30 mtr height (non accessible roof).
9Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floors and paving not exceeding 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) complete all as specified and directed.
10Demolition of RCC as in slab, beam, chajja, old water tank (other than ground floor) beams staircases, and similar all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
11Material and Labour for cement concrete M15 (Nominal Mix) using 12.5 mm nominal size graded crushed stone aggregate mixed with water proofing compound as levelling course of roof padding finished even and fair complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid for separately.
12Material and Labour for rendering 10mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on roof top surface including WPC as per manufacturer instructions complete all as specified and as directed. Note : WPC will be measured separately
13Apply oil bound bitumen primer @ 0.40 Litre / Sqm manufactured by the same agency as that of APP with density of 0.87 to 0.89 Kg / Litre at 25 degree Celsius on the prepared dry roof surface.
14Material and Labour APP based polymeric membrane min weighting 3kg/sqm and minimum 3mm thick reinforced with polyster non woven fabric(wt not less than 150 gms/sqm laid on primed surfaces by forced application method all as specified.
15Material and Labour for preparation of new surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of solar reflective aluminium paint @ 0.10 kg/sqm membrane surfaces.
16Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided complete all as specifedand directed
17S & F steel work as in tubular trusses including special shaped washer etc complete using ERW or induction butt welded tubes confirming to IS 1161 1979 grade St 240 complete all specified and directed.
18S&F for rolled sections of FE 410W (Gde-E-250)as in main and cross beams, hip and jack rafters; purlins where connected to common rafters and running rails and guides for sliding doors; fixed with angle cleats or other connecting plates complete all specified and directed.
19S & F Hand rails, half round or other steel section or core for wooden hand-rail straight portion, drilled and countersunk for balusters running bars, for doors, balusters, nosing to steps including embeding in concrete and screwing etc. wind ties for roof including securing bolts including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc., and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 complete all specified and directed.
20Dismantling to Asbestos cement (corrugated,semicorrugated, etc.) sheets in roof coverings complete all as specified and directed.
21S&F Pre- painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws as specified etc complete all as specified and directed.
22S&F Pre-painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based Plain steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws as specified etc complete all as specified and directed.
23Material and Labour Preparation of new previously untreated steel and iron surfaces of any description not other wise described over 10 centimetre width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome complete all as specified and as directed.
24Material and Labour for taking out/pumping out water from RCC Water Store Tank of size 5mx4mx3 m and discreting into open drain/area as directed by Engineer-in-Charge complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note. (i) Dewatering shall be done by suction pump/any mechnical means and disposed by truck mounted trailors to dispose off contaminated water and cost of the same shall deemed to be included in quoted rates. (ii) HIGH PRESSURE CLEANING AND SCRUBBING : Cleaning of walls, ceiling and floor by high pressure water jet mixed with detergent / cleaning agent appropriate for tank cleaning having rotary as well as flat jets for effective cleaning of the nooks, walls and corners and then scrubbing By stain (if required).(iii) VACCUM CLEANING: Wet and dry vaccum cleaning for moping of all dirt particles and residual sludge present in the sumps by industrial vaccum cleaner. (iv) Necessary T & P shall be arranged by the contractor by his own arrangement.
25Material and Labour for applying chemical compound with dispersing agents Removing (and not damaging the beneath brick or RCC surface) old existing unserviceable concrete, cement plaster, loose / unsound weaken cement of any description and in any position from existing external / internal surfaces of walls, or any surface average depth 5-25mm (Approx height/depth 4.5 m from natural ground level) with concrete removing agent(except for zinc and galvanised metal) and clean the treated surface immediately after removal treatment, and removal up to the approval municipal dumping grounds specified by the local bodies outside MOD land including cutting of all edges, making square shoulders of the cavities, roughening the smooth surfaces, scrapping out / removing corrosion all loose / scale/ rust etc from the visible unplastered surface
26Material and Labour for cutting 'U' shaped grove carefully by diamond cutter, breaker etc without damaging the structure in RCC members i.e. internal surface, of size approx 37mm (depth) x 25mm (width) along the constructions joints and other surfaces as directed and filling the 'U' grove with Patch N plug of or equivalents in make AQUACREAT and PIDILITE over and including applicaton of crysteline concrete slurry @ 0.04 kg/RM in the grove by brush application and allow to dry for 10 minutes as per manufacturers instructions complete all as specified and directed. Note. (a) Cost of providing scafolding shall deemed to be included in quoted rates. (b) Structural treatment to be executed through authorised applicator of manufacturer as approved by GE.
27Material and Labour for preparation of surface and applying 12.5mm thick fully consolidated rapid setting cementious material with setting time 10 mins max @ 25kg/1.05 sqm by low pressure spray equipment or with trowel for patching and resurfacing of deteriorated concrete to produce superior bond low shrinkage, chemical durability and high strength mixed with water at site as per manufacture instructions/ specifications, initial setting time 3.25 hrs and final setting time 5.00 hrs with compressive strength 53 MPA in 28 days, as per manufacture instructions complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. (a) Cost of providing scafolding shall deemed to be included in quoted rates. (b) Structural treatment to be executed through authorised applicator of manufacturer as approved by GE.
28Providing, mixing & applying two component epoxy resin concrete bonding coat on prepared RCC surfaces prior to application of any type of repair mortar or micro concrete to bonding old and new cementitious substrates as per manufacturer's specification including cleaning of surface to remove all dirt, dust or any other impurities, etc. including necessary scaffolding work, all complete as specified and directed. The product should comply with ASTM C 881 Type II Grade 2 Class B+C. Make :- TM bond EP of Thermax or Equivalent as approved by GE

31Material and Labour for high strength epoxy resin based Injection Grouting, Automatic NRV packers in all surfaces from all access side Distance of injections will be 500 m c/c in matrix pattern until is submerged in dampness of chemical. Injection grouting shall be using two component grouting polymer having low viscosity, high molecular weight, thermosetting to reach very deep pores, voids, cracks and honeycomb in the concrete, specific gravity of which shall be 0.95, pH of 2-4,viscosity of 20-25 sec by B/4 ford cup and having curing time of 30-90 minutes area by suitable gun/pump at required pressure (100 bar to 150 Bar), including cutting of nipples after curing etc and sealing the nozzles with epoxy putty and preparing the surface to match with the existing surfaces complete all as specified and directed. 32Material and Labour for welded MS wire mesh weighing not less than 1 kg/sqm on the prepared surface which should be cleaned and should be removed from dirt, fungus and all foreign material complete all as specified and directed
33Material and Labour for providing and fixing welded MS wire meshwith anticorrosive primer applied on inner walls of pool weighing not less than 1 kg/sqm applying and mixing mechanically PP fibre of 12 mm length with Anti-crack strength with 25-30 mm thick one component chloride free thixotropic fibre reinforced polymer modified repair mortar by shotcreting/gunniting only complies with ASTM C 109 with flexural strength ASTM C 348 @ 7 days meeting 7N/mm2 and tensile strength @ 7 days (ASTM C 307) >3 N/mm2 at the RCC surface mixed with in the ratio of0.33:1:4 with cement and sand mortar and mixed with styrene butydiene polymerized cement mortar modifier or AR for bonding with cementious mortar specially adhered to BS 6319 having specific gravity of 1.025 to 1.04, minimum 43% solid contents) @ 2% by weight of cement and as per manufacturer,s instructions.)and also applying AR Bonding agent on surface before plastering, make of the Thermax or CIPY Chemicals Ltd/redwop chemicals /IWL Chemicals equivalent of webac chemicas/chemco system .complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in -charge.Note—(a) Item shall be undertaken by the authorized rep of manufacturer through shotcreting/gunniting only. (b) Wire mesh Shall be paid seprately under relevant item
34Material and Labour for providing fixing welded MS wire mesh weighing not less than 1 kg/sqm and mixing and applying mechanically PP fibre of 24 mm length with Anti-crack strength with Rheoplastic non shrink, corrosion resistant, High strength compound BS66 with integral liquid water proofing admixture 1000L of make Thermax Ltd/ CIPY Chemicals Ltd/redwop chemicals /IWL Chemicals or equivalent of webac chemical/chemco system confirms to IS 2645-2003 having specific gravity 1.1 to 1.2 gm/cc chloride content : Nil as per IS 2645-2003 & resistant, High strength compound on internal floor,shallow bottom of pool and inner walls of pool if required etc, one component cementious microconcrete thixotropic non shrinkage mucis having compressive strength as Bs 4551-80 thickness of 50mm with 3:1:4 cement mortar and strength (ASTM C 109)-80 Mpa @ 28 days, Tensile strength 2.0N/mm2 @ 28 days (ASTM C 348)- 4 Mpa @ 28 days, Flextural strength 10N/mm2 (ASTM C 348)-11 Mpa @ 28 days, Young's modulus -27 KN/sqmm (ASTM D469), Expansion charactristics (ASTM C 827-1987) Unrestrained expansion upto 4% pressure to restrain plastic Expansion -Approx. 0.004 N/sqmm., before pouring micro concrete through shotcreting/gunniting only.It is recommended to apply granolithic E-Resin based solvent free concrete bonding agent or AR in accurate proportion with complete homogenesity Mpa at 7 days, Tensile strength (BS 6319 pt.7)- 15 Mpa at 7 days, Bond strength (ASTM C 881)- 11 N/sqmm at 7 days, having an over lay time of 03 hrs at 30 C. complete including all tools and tackles as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note—Item shall be undertaken by the authorized rep of manufacturer through shotcreting/gunniting only.
35M &L for curing of the surface using wax based concrete curing compound curing efficiency; Make of -MaxCure CC of Thermax/IWL/chemco system/webac chemicals/ CIPY Chemicals Ltd/redwop chemicals /Redwop chemicals etc compound complies with the internationally recognized ASTM C309-90 standards incuding all tools and tackles. Complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note—Item shall be undertaken by the authorized rep of manufacturer.
36Material and Labour for applying a waterproofing agent with holding the quality of negative hydrostatic pressure on new plastered surface also meeting the elasticity modules as follows 28 days 14000-16000 N/mm2 adhesion to substrate 1 day 0.6N/mm2 28 days 1.3 N/mm2 compressive strength 1 day 12N/mm2 28 days 36N/mm2 flexural strength 1 day 3.6N/mm2 28 days 8.2 N/mm2, modified with special additives and ready to use. Make : Thermax/chemco systems/webac chemicals/IWL CHEM/CIPY Chemicals Ltd/redwop chemicals. .Mixed with water ,it cures forming a coating , with limited thickness which resists the penetration of water to achieve compressive strength of 36 N/mm2 in 3 days, adhesion bond strength of 8.2 N/mm2. Coating to be applied after proper surface preparation to remove loose dust , dirt etc. Cleaning, mixing using slow speed electric drill and application of 2 coats. Complete as per specification. Note—Item shall be undertaken by the authorized rep of manufacturer.
37Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls, etc., including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc.
38Material and Labour for rendering 15 mm thick in CM 1:4 on fair faces of brick/concrete surfaces with two coats i.e (10 mm thick backing coat and 5mm thick finishing coat) , finished even and smooth (WPC to be measured and paid separately) complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- Item rate shall be include any height of Bldgs for scafolding as all arrangement.)
39Supplying only Liquid water proofing compound complete all as specifed and directed by Engr-in-charge
40Material and Labour for rendering 10 mm thick in CM 1:6 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces finished even and smooth complete all as specified. (Note:- Item rate shall be include any height of Bldgs for scafolding as all arrangement.)
41Material and Labour for rendering 5mm thick in CM 1:3 on ceiling on concrete surfaces finished even and smooth complete all as specified
42Material and Labour applying minimum 2mm thick wall care Putty of Birl wall care putty or equivalent on wall /ceiling surfaces for filling &making undulation surface even and smooth complete all as specified and as directed
43Material and labour for preparation of new plastered surfaces of walls/ ceiling and applying two coat of oil distemper over one coat of alkaliresistant primer and 2 mm thick wall care putty, complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- 1. Putty will be paid under relevant item where applied.
44Material and Labour for preparation of new or previously untreated plastered surfaces of walls and applying Two or more coats of 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10 sqm over new surfaces two coats of acrylic antifungal paint exterior grade paint on one coat of primer complete all as specified and as directed.
45Material and Labour for preparation of new or previously untreated plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of acrylic antifungal paint exterior grade paint CAMOUFLAGE PATTERN on one coat of primer complete all as specified and as directed.
46Material and Labour for preparation of old wall/ceiling/roof surfaces of any description & applying one coat of acrylic (antifungal) exterior grade paint of camouflage pattern complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- Item rate shall be include any height of Bldgs / Hangars for scafolding as all arrangement.)
47Complete removal of existing treatment of walls and Material and Labour for applying two coats of acrylic (antifungal) exterior grade paint of camouflage pattern over one coat of primer on wall/roof by auto roller complete all as specified and directed.
48Preparation of old wall and ceiling surfaces of any description and Material and Labour for applying one coats of acrylic (antifungal) exterior grade paint white or coloured by auto roller complete including removal of nails etc and grinding where necessary all as specified & directed.
49Complete removal of existing treatment from wall and ceiling surfaces to make the surface free from dust, loose paint etc including preparation of old decorated surfaces of walls, cornices, asbestos sheet and roof etc and Material and Labour for applying (multipurpose mixer) wall care putty and applying two coats of acrylic (antifungal) exterior grade paint white or coloured by auto roller by the skilled labour over one coat of primer upto 4th storey including necessary scaffolding and grinding where necessary all as specified & directed. (Note:- Item rate shall be include any height of Bldgs / Hangars for scafolding as all arrangement.)
50Material and Labour prepration of old plastered / decorated surfaces of walls and applying one coat of oil bound distemper on plastered/decorated wall surfaces complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- Item rate shall be include any height of Bldgs / Hangars for scafolding as all arrangement.)
51Complete removal of existing treatment from old decorated plastered surfaces of walls and ceiling by , removal of nails etc & filling cracks/hole with putty, applying wall care putty upto 2 mm thick (multipurpose mixer shall be used for uniform and proper mixing of putty) and applying two coats oil emulsion distemper white or coloured over a coat of approved primer by auto roller complete all as specified & directed Note:- Putty will be paid under relevant item where applied
52Complete removal of existing treatment by scrapping to make the surface free from dust, loose paint etc including preparation of old decorated surfaces of walls, cornices, asbestos sheet and roof etc and Material and Labour for applying (multipurpose mixer) wall care putty upto 2 mm thick and applying two coats of plastic emulsion paint a luxurious smooth finish white or coloured over a coat of approved primer with the help of auto roller by skilled labour over one coat of primer upto 4th storey including necessary scaffolding complete all as specified and directed. Note:- 1.Putty will be paid under relevant item where applied.
53Prepration of old plastered / decorated surfaces of walls & ceiling and Material and Labour for applying one coat of plastic emulsion paint on old plastered surfaces complete all as specified and directed.
54Preparation old decorated plastered and unplastered surfaces of walls and cornices, spoiled by smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts and trading oil and greasy spots by scraping and washing with water and Material and Labour for applying one coat of white wash white or coloured complete all as specified and directed.
55All as per BOQ Serial item No 52 above but two coat of white wash complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
56Preparation old decorated surfaces of ceiling , spoiled by smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts and trading oil and greasy spots by scraping and washing with water and Material and Labour for applying one coat of white wash on ceiling complete all as specified and directed.
