The top layer of covers, frame, and grating consists of special grade of UV stabilised resin to get good abrasion resistance. The fibre glassshall be reinforced with glass fibre film in the film of UD stitched, multidirectional wooden roving to get good tensile and flexural strength and embedded in the matrix of UV stablised and high tensile strength modified specially to suit this application. The frame shall be embedded in minimum 1:2:4 concrete and top level of frame to match the existing level complete all as specified and directed. |
