| 11 | Anti carbonation coating for protection of concrete surface from carbonation by with two coats of single component solvent free, cold applied, pure acrylic polymer, (Anti carbonation coating) breathable, elastomeric on a water based priming coat [Total 3 (three) coats including priming coats] having 50% elongation property, UV resistant capacity, non-taxic with aesthetic view, eco friendly and low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) materials. The product complies with the requirement as laid out in as per ASTM D822. Recommended DFT (Dry Film thickness) : 100-110 microns per coat. Top coat may have with 5%-10% dilution if required and anti carb primer with 100% dilution with approx. DFT : 20 micron. Total system DFT should not be less than 230 micron for getting batter anti carbonation property on concrete surface as per direction of Engineer in charge.Note : 1) The rate is exclusive of the cost of scaffolding.2) It may be used for the exposed surface of concrete structures.3) This item shall be executed only after specific Instruction of Superintending Engineer of the respective circle. |
