| 1 | M & L for cutting out defective portion of existing rigid pavement for depth 25 mm to 50mm from top surface of slab by mechanical means/manually by chiseling, make regular shape and size,removing all debries to a distance exceeding 500 Metres but not exceeding 1000 Metres form starting point, loose particle to be cleaned with mechanical air blower,applying a coat of primer uniformly on the horizontal and vertical faces with bristle brush,filling with epoxy resin mortar (1:5) one part of epoxy resin and five parts of Quartz sand as per manufacturer's instructions,on primed surface and finished by means of trowels and flats, finished true levelled with existing adjoining rigid pavement, complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in-Charge. |
| 2 | Racking out existing filling in dummy/construction joints upto 25mm width and depth as required to provide backup rod and minimum 15mm thick sealant compound and making it perfectly U shaped with vertical sides by means of Diamond Tip and ensure that joints should be cleaned to remove sealing compound from sides of joint , after cleaning and fanning with air compressor to make the joints free from all loose material (i.e. dirt/dust etc ) and provide polyethylene foam rod backup material of suitable size (Backup rod to be fixed with wooden roller) and applying primer of approved make to side and bottom of joints and filling with polyurethane sealant of approved make (minimum 15mm thick over backup rod) , all as manufacturer instruction and old material should be removed from Technical area as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.Note: (1) Masking tape on edge of joint to be provided on top surface to give neat finish to sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied.(2) An exclusive team of 06 labourers for each task such as removing of existing fiiling, cleaning of open opened joint, finishing of edges with grinder/cutter, applying of primer by one forward stroke and second backward stroke of brush, then applying joint sealant after appropriate time gap and as directed by the Manufacturer's instruction.(3) Insert a bond breaker tape and bond breaker closed cell polythylene frame rod of width 13mm to 17mm caulked tightly into the base of a sealing groove to prevent the sealant from adhering to the base of slot complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in-Charge.(4) Sealed flush joint to a level of 2-3mm below the top of the adjacent pavement using polyurethane sealant( min depth 12mm) after priming the vertical surface complete all as specifed and directed by Eng-in-Charge(5) Quantity of joint filling material required shall be produced by contractor from approved manufacturer, all as specifed and directed by Engr-in-Charge. |

| 4 | Materials and Labour for preparation of surfaces of rigid/flexible pavement (concrete or asphaltic) of runway,taxi track,links etc., painting lines, dashes, arrows, figures, letters, etc. on roads, pavements (preparation includes removing dust, disposal of shurbs,bushes, chipped of paint on the previoulsy painted surface) and the like exceeding 10cm wide with two coats of water based acrylic road marking paint (white/yellow/orange) as per manufacturer's instructions,complete all as specified and directed.Note :- (i) The site will be available based on the Flying Operation ,Hence Contractor shall quoted the rate accordingly and this condition will be apllicable for all type of work in this contract.(ii) Thickness of paint shall be as per the direction of Eng-in-Charge for each coat.(iii) An exclusive team of adequate number of labourers for painting activity shall be deployed by the contractor as per directions of Engr-in-Charge. |
| 5 | Repair to pot holes in existing rigid/flexible pavement of dispersal/ runway/ PTT upto 20 mm depth and superficial area not exc.320 sqmm each, cleaning the pot hole with hand brushes or water under pressure and drying with compressed air etc. filling the pot holes with epoxy mixture of araldite and hardener, araldite 02 (Two) parts and hardener 01 (one) parts, complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in-Charge. |

| 8 | Raking out old sealing compound from existing joints/cracks 10-20 mm wide and 30 mm deep (approx), removing all foreign materials,primed and filled with sealing compound, Grade ‘B’,complete all as specified and directed. Note:- In case of additional depth beyond 30mm, the same shall be filled with dry sand before joint filling. |
| 9 | M & L for 100 mm thick, plain cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1, (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in floors/ pavings/ hardstanding etc. finished the surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. |
