(B) DG SETSRound the clock operation [in three shifts on everyday] operation of different capacities of DG Sets installed for Academic Area, West Campus and Main and admin Building in the IITD Campus including manual operation of DG sets and breakers /switch gears for supplying of DG power as and when required during mains failure including cleaning of DG sets and premise, logging of DG Sets operations as per prescribed proforma, daily checking and recording of diesel consumption and availability, condition of batteries, filling of diesel in diesel tank and transporting of diesel from site to site as and when needed, etc.as required by deputing at least following manpower: Contractor shall depute qualified staff for operationand routine maintenance of DG Set as under:(i) Highly Skilled Foreman ------ 01 No(ii) Operator [Mechanic] Grade ----- 13 Nos.(iii) Helper Grade ------ 09 Nos.

(B) MAINTENANCE OF SUB-STATIONS & D.G Sets EQUIPMENTS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:(a) Cleaning of the premises and electrical equipment like transformer, switchgear, HT panel LT panels etc. D.G Sets with material.(b) Oiling and greasing of the equipments as & when required.(c) Defects of any kind/ fault of routine nature shall be attended by the contractor's staff and rectified immediately. However, material required for same shall be provided by the department.(d) Contractor shall depute qualified staff for operation and routine maintenance of Sub-Station & DG Sets. The total staff strength is as under for this work:(i) Skilled/ Mechanic ---- 26 Nos.(ii) Semiskilled/ Fitter/ Gittiman ---- 02 Nos.(iii) Unskilled/ Helper ---- 18 Nos.(iv) LT Supply Foreman ---- 01 No.(iv) HT Supply Technician ---- 01 No.(v) HT Supply Foreman ---- 01 No.One job means to carry out this work by deputing above specified staff for a month.
