| 1 | Removal of the H.T motor stool after disconnecting the motor connecting, cooling water line connections etc. Removing of lower half coupling adjusting nuts and N.R.R key. Removal of T.B.H unit and stacking them in repairing bay as per direction of EIC. |
| 2 | Removal of packing box sleeve, split packing, gland packing box assembly and stacking them as per direction of the EIC. |
| 3 | Disconnecting discharge branch from the delivery line and lifting the total pump assembly after removing the cap screw between discharge head and sole plate by removing the top column assembly discharge elbow assembly including all shaft coupling and bowl assembly on proper support (required M.S channel to provide support to pump assembly and mechanical tool, tackles i.e. 2 nos.10 ton Hydraulic jacks, gas cutting etc. As needed to execute this item if work are to be provided by the contractor at his own cost. |
| 4 | Scraping, descaling & painting both inside & outside of column pipes, discharge elbow & outside of bowl assembly by cost of anti corrosive black paints of approved quality, over a coat of red oxide zine chromate primer. |
| 5 | Cleaning the outer and inner surface of the motor stool, discharge head, column pipes and painting all the cleaned surface by synthetic enameled paint of approved quality by spray as per direction of EIC. |

| 19 | Re- Installation of the motor stool and motor by marking proper alignment with the line shaft and motor coupling within permissible limit fixing coupling bolts and nuts ,worn out rubber pads of the coupling bolts are to be replaced by the supplying new rubber pads by the agency at his own cost .making re connection of the connection of the cooling water line , re-fixing and re-arrangement of HT and LT cable and connection of the same to the motor terminal and commissioning the system complete. The entire job to be carried out under supervision of an expert to achieve batter performance. Minor rectification work line skin turning of sleeves, minor welding etc. Are also included in this job. |
