| 1 | Excavation in foundation and trenches in earth work upto all depth in all kinds of soil such as pick work jumper work, blasting work,chiselling of soft /hard rock where blasting is prohibited in all leads and lifts and including trimming of sides levelling of bed to correct grade stacking the excavated soil in 15 cm. layers when required into plinth sides of foundation including consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surpius excavated soil as directed in all leads and lifts and soring/strutting timbering and dewatering where ever required to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 2 | Laying, jointing and testing of GMS Pipe 65mm dia (L) WT3.20 mm thick bevelled edged conforming to IS:1239 in trenches having random lengths of 5-7 mtrs including cost of fabrication of minimum 3 cut bends of required degree. The pipe shall have inside & out side Galvanisation at manufacturer work conforming to IS:4736 (with upto date ammendments). The pipe shall be jointed with circumferencial butt welded joints by electric arc welding with minimum three layers of welds so as to achive the minimum effective thorat thickness and strength of weld conforming to IS: 816-1969 sepecification, by using welding electrodes of 2.50 mm to 6.30 mm conforming to IS:814-1991, at site of work complete in all respects. Each butt welded joint shall be tested with dye-penetration test (with the kit consisting of 3 sprays of 250 ML each includes (a) Cleaner CL-96 (b) Penetrant PT-97 (c) Developer Div-98 of checkmate make) complete in all respects, including manual / mechanical handling of pipes in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfication of Engineer-in-charge. (The earth work in treches and cost of MS flanges to be measured and paid for separately). |
| 3 | Demolishing cement concrete manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer in charge. Nominal concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (i/c equivalent design mix) |
| 4 | Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for all heights: Foundation footing bases of columns etc. For mass concrete complete in all respect. |
| 5 | Providing and laying cement concrete 1:2:4 (1cement:2sand : 4graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size)and curing complete excluding cost of form work and re-inforcement for reinforced concrete work in:-.Foundation and plinth. |

| 7 | The work should be executed as per PWD/JSV specifications and to the entire satisfactions of the Engineer-in Charge. |
| 8 | The cement, steel & GI pipe shall be issued by the department from JSV Divisional Store Raghunath Ka Padhar Mandi cement @ 368/- per bag, Steel Rs. 7615/-only per qtl and GI pipe free of cost on proper indent respectively. |
| 9 | The GI fittings shall be provided by the contractor at their own cost. |
| 10 | The Contractor will be fully responsible for watch and ward of material at site of work. |
| 11 | Nothing shall be paid for rejected/sub-standard material at site of works. |
| 12 | Concrete work shall be done by using vibrator and concrete mixing plant. |
| 13 | Crushed aggregate will be used in concrete work. |
| 14 | Material should be used of approved quarry. |
| 15 | The work should be completed in the stipulated period. |
| 16 | The rates should be inclusive with GST and carriage. |
| 17 | 1% labour cess will be deducted from the bill of the contractor. |
