M & L for cutting out existing damaged concrete slab with cutter in proper rectangular, square or triangular shape correction of cracks, Edges, Repair of potholes and undulations Providing and laying of single component self-leveling PU based fast setting elastomeric concrete, after thorough mixing with and electrically operated paddle stirrer having setting time of 1 to 1 1/2 hour and yield of 1800 kg/cum with a prior coat polyethylene based single component fast drying primer applying @ 100ml/Sqm after cutting the damaged area to proper geometrical shape with min depth of 25mm and cleaning the surface thoroughly with air jet.

M&L for Preparation of old black top surface/concrete surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with using air blower to remove all loose dirt etc., complete and applying coal tar sealing compound/ single component bitumen based sealing compound by using mechanical spraying / manually applying but thickness of sealing compound not less than 1 mm and area not exceeding 1 sqm ,complete and all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Note: The Tenderer shall take into consideration for the following points while quoting his rate for the items :- (a) Due care shall be taken for friction parameters during application of sealing compound as per ICAO standard.(b) The work shall be carried out through authorised and qualified applicators of the manufacturer only.(c) No price adjustment shall be applicable if excess/wastage quantity of sealing compound than that mentioned above is used, depending up on the surface to be treated.(d) Removal of dust/FOD occurred during cleaning should be removed as directed. (e) Material preparation:- (i) cut sealing compound drum and heat it to 180-210 degree centigrade while slowing stirring the material for uniformity. A 26 kg drum will take 2-3 hrs at 190 -200 degree centigrade of comp melting using hand stirrer. (ii) Do not overheat as this may cause frothing. If for any reason bubble appears during melting, keep the temperature around 180 degree centigrade for a longer time with slow manual stirring till the bubble disappears. (iii) Apply a coat of solvent based coal tar primer@ 0.30 ltr/sqm. Then it to dry for 24 hrs. Ensure that temp of material is in range of 175-180 degree centigrade during application black top /concrete surface.

M&L for cutting and racking out joints with cutter and cleaning with blower and making sides of joints bitumen free for all joints and sealing the joints with single component polyurethane based sealant over a coat of primer of approved make, including bond breaker caulked tightly into the base of sealing groove complete all as per manufactures instructions and as directed by Engr in charge for the following size of joints :-
