Polymeric membrane shall be taken to a height as required at site/30cm(minimum) and than inserted inside the groove of parapet wall and shall be finished by a membrane flashing.(iv) One coat of Solar reflective bituminious Aluminium paint of approved brand to be provided over the APP membrane as per manufacturers instructions.Note : (a) Work shall be carried out through specialized applicator approvrd by GE. Contractor shall submit sufficent documents/Credentials in support of Applicator whom he wants the work excuted.(b) Laying APP based polymeric membrane shall be done torch on method as per manufactures instructions. (vii) 2 Nos 32mm bore GI medium grade 450mm long spout ,to be provided through external wall to drain out accumulated water.(viii) Sunken floor shall be tested for water tightness by filling water for 72 hrs before and after treatment work is carried out and ensure that no leakage /seepage exists (ix) Sunken portion shall be filled with lean concrete of (1:5:10) type E-2 |
