Visual Survey, Engineering Documentation & Line Diagram Analysis1.1 Comprehensive visual inspection of the entire G+3 structure (72 units), including meticulous structural distress mapping, crack assessment, deflection checks, and structural feasibility verification using proposed line diagrams. 1.2 Befor and after drawing for proposed Addn/Altn are attached as Appx \\"A\\" & Appx \\"B\\". 1.3 Structural Audit will ascertain and advise on the proposed Addition/Altration to the building, as indicated in the enclosed before and after drawing, will not affect the structural stability of the building and recommend suitable alternatives for the proposed Addn/Altn if required.
Field Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) :-Conducting Rebound Hammer Tests on selected critical RCC elements (columns, beams, slabs) to evaluate surface concrete hardness profiles across various zones.
Conducting Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity (UPV) Tests along RCC members to evaluate internal concrete density, core homogeneity and determine crack depths/voids.
Profometer / High-Resolution Cover Meter scan to non-destructively locate embedded steel reinforcement bars, measure concrete cover depth, and determine rebar pitch/spacing.
Core Drilling and extraction of standard concrete core samples (75mm to 100mm diameter) from designated structural zones, laboratory compressive testing and structural patching of core voids using high-strength polymer mortar.
Chemical Analysis of concrete elements, including carbonation depth profiling, extraction tests for active water-soluble chlorides and total structural sulfate content analysis
Half cell potential test: The half cell potential test is anon destructive technique used in the field of corrossion assessment and evaluation of reinforced concrete structure. The primary purpose of the half cell potential test is to assess the likelihood of corrosion in reinforced concrete elements and to identify areas where corrosssion may be occurring or is likely to occur.
Carbonation test the method of testing consists of determining the depth of the carbonated layer on the surface of hardened concrete by means of an indicator.
Engineering Design, Reporting & Formal Certification:-Compilation and formal submission of the final vetted Structural Audit Report, from vetted/certified by IIT/NIT. Provide 4 Nos copy of report in soft & hard copy.
Note:-1. Provide visual inspection and photography performing a visual survey of the building and recording/maping on drawing to asses extent of spelled concrete, cracked concrete, honey combing, reinforcement corrision, delaminated concrete etc, taking photographs to collect evidence of damage to structure, Report comprising test results of each building, reccommendation for structural repairs and technical specification, preparing bill of quantities for the repairs etc for each building, All as specified and directed.2. Clear reccommendation of whether the building is safe/unsafe/unsafe to habitate indicating building numbers.3 Recommendation required: (i) Confirm that structural saftey of bldgs after Addn/Alteration i.e. removal of wall & convertion of bathroom & kitchen. (ii) Also confirm that bldg is safe for further more use after Addn/Altr and recomend suitable alternatives for proposed Addn/Alteration required. Please Enable Macros to View BoQ information
