| 19 | The solar cateye shall be produced from an engineered polymer selected for superior empact resistance and weather-ability. The top of the marker should be tranparent for solar charging and light without in active mode. The base of the body shall be yellow or natural white as approved by engineer in charge. The marker shall incorporate a solar panel(comprising of solar cells) for converting solar energy into electricity, a storage device for storing the energy, LEDs for illuminitaion and a design for providing 360 degree uniform smooth illumination through light tube. The marker shall also have high reflective plastic lenses for conspicuity in passive mode and dual shanks for improved road presence. These marker are intended for appliction directly onto pavement surface and shall be applied with epoxy resin adhisive designed for use with raised pavement markers and as supplied by the marker manufaturer saparately. The solar cat eye shall be of height 65+-2mm and maximum diameter 136+-4mm. The solar stud/cat eye shall be listed for water ingress as per IP 65 standard andd IP 68 standard and compressive strength of 13635 kg tested in accordence with ASTM D4280 and test report shall be submitted at the time of bidding of tender. If somhoe tender pre qualifiaction condition do not ask for government report then the report shall be submitted to engineer-in-charge before finalization of bill. The shall include all material, labour, equipments, fabrication, transportation, erection, installation and incidentals all complete as per direction of the engineer-in-charge |

The job includes fixing of these distance-measuring stones at places after dismantling of existing damaged stones, and further disposing of dismantled material outside ROW. Rates quoted to be inclusive of the salvage value of the useful material obtained during the course of dismantling. | 28 | Flexible Median Marker As Per IRC 79:2019:Flexible Median Marker (FMM) should be used for improving median visibility during dark hours,, Use of Median Marker provides safety against collision happening with medians during night time, or severe weather. Flexible Median Markers shall be provided with fluorescent yellow colour retro-reflective sheeting Type XI as per IRC:67. Flexible Median Marker shall be of tough, high impact resistant, injection-molded, thermoplastic body with property of flexibility to provide high durability 'and U shape structure having rebound / bounce back property. the sheeting shall be of Type XI conforming to IRC:67 and it should be on both the faces whereby providing maximum reflectivity at langer distances with adequate durability. The logo of the manufacturer shall be embossed on either side of the body during the Injection molding process. FMM shall be fixed by a combination bf epoxy adhesive and grouting/drilling on concrete medians or properly constructed solid medians. Height: The marker height shall be a minimum of 180 mm. width 120 mm & Body Thickness: 6.5 mm. the shanks shall not be less than 20 mm and depth shall not be less than 30 mm Reflective Area: Shall not be less than 90 cm square Proof of the same Report shall be uploaded which quoting tender. The body of FMM shall bounce back to its original position of after 750 number of hits using pendulum of 1.8 kg conforming 40 ASTM D256 adhesion between the body and outer casing body of FMM shall with stand 50 kg f Tensile loads conforming to ASTM D638 method.
