| 6 | Removing corrosion of steel reinforcement by mechanicalmeans like wire brushing, chipping to remove loose rust andthen applying rust removal solution by using brush application,leaving the surface for at least 15 to 30 minutes, thenremoving loose materials by scrubbing or with brush. Afterdetachment of loose scales reddish rusted surface is still leftexposed, this has to be retreated or as per approvedmanufacturers specifications. (Note:- Consider surface area of concrete for payment) |
| 7 | Repair with Polymer Modified Mortar (PMM): Repairs to the deteriorated / damaged areas of RCC elements in the structure shall be carried out by using powder PolymerModified repair mortar. The polymer modified mortar is applied when the epoxy bonding coat is still tacky. In oneapplication 25 mm thickness shall be built. Subsequent layer shall be built with one bond coat of Polymer modified cement slurry. The polymer modified repair mortar shall be mixed, applied and cured as per technical specifications. |
| 8 | Repairing to the existing RCC structural members (vertical or horizontal) using ready mix Micro Concrete of approved brand where the thickness of repair is more than 30 mm and upto 115 mm. It can be used for carrying out extensive repairs to beams, columns and other structural elements, repairing of structural members subjected to repetitive loading & for Jacketing of beams, columns and other structural elements for strengthening. No payment shall be made for form work. Payment will be made as per actual consumption of Micro concrete by weight. |
| 9 | Providing and applying primer + two coats of 100% acrylic breathable, water based, anticarbonation coating. Cracks, if any, shall be filled with Polymer modified mortar. The rateshall include complete treatment mentioned above complete as directed by the Engineer in charge. |
| 10 | Providing and applying first single coat of approved primer and two coats of anti-algal, anti-fungal, acrylic based exterior paint with silicone additives of following make and approved colour as per manufacturers specifications to any surface, upto 10m height from ground level and at all locations as directed including preparing surfaces for painting by any approved means, scaffolding, cleaning and curing etc. complete as directed by RCF ltd. Any of the following brands shall be allowed to use 'Weathercoat- Longlife10' of Berger paints, 'Weather shield-Clear' of Dulux, 'Apex-Ultima' of Asian paints. Painting should be certified by the manufacturer out of any of the above said brands. Painting certificate of warranty should be taken from the manufacturer seaprately for all the buildings painted. |
| 11 | Extra over on exterior painting work of height more than 10 m from ground level for additional height of 3m or part thereof. |

| 16 | Cleaning the concrete surfaces including removing all dust, grease, stains etc. to render the surface clean including removing all traces of cleaning materials with jet of clean water using pressurized pumping etc. complete as specified and directed. |
| 17 | Removal of plant/ficus growth by pulling out root system embedded in masonry, cutting stem and application of hing/gur/lime formulation as specified by the patented chemical biocide treatment such as biocide/glycel etc. |
| 18 | Providing and fixing UV resistant selffit UPVC pipes of approved make for Rainwater downtakes confirming to IS 13592:1992 Type A suitable for 4kg/sqcm pressure for 150 mm pipe diameters including rain water receiving recess with pvc plug bend necessary fittings such as offsets shoes, fixing the pipes on wall with clips filling the joints with solvent /cement and necessary scafolding etc. complete as directed by Engineer In Charge. |
