(c) Applying two coats of bituminous Aluminium paints on top of APP membrane surfaces @ rate of 0.10 Lit/Sqm for each coat.Note :(i) The work in respect of water proofing treatment shall be carried out only by authorised / approved applicator of the manufacturers / firms of APP membrane. The contractor shall produce the evidence in support of work carried out by the authorised applicator as approved by manufacturers / firms before claiming payment. (ii) Laying APP based polymeric membrane shall be done by torch on method or as per manufacturers instructions. (iii) A minimum overlap of 150mm and 100mm should be made at the end and side of the polymeric membrane respectively and sealed overlaps and joints as per manufacturers instructions. (iv) Coved fillets in PCC(1:2:4) type B-0 using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate, of radius 75mm shall be provided at the junction of roof and parapet wall/mumty/chimney/other vertical surfaces. |
