(c) Third stage is scrubbing the walls and floor with mechanized scrubber and fresh water cleaning by high speed jet pump to remove all scaling,algae and other formed particles on internal surface of the tank completely. (d) Fourth stage and first bacteria is sterilization by using TERBAC-G5 a laborarory certified branded halogen compound /E-in-C branch approved chemical as recommended by E-In_charge .Test certificate of chemical from govt laboratory mentioning suitability for sterilization should be submitted to the office before using for sterilization. (e) Fifth stage is cleaning the floor of the water tank by heavy duty industrial vacuum cleaner and sludge sucker having maximum 1200 watt with suitable heavy duty rugged motor to free any foreign and loose particles of any nature. (f) Sixth stage is the second bacteria screeing and sterilizing method by using ultraviolet ray by heavy duty UV radiation which shall have 360 degree of sterilization with in the tank to kill all suspended bacteria. |
| 76 | (g) Seventh stage of cleaning and third bacteria screeing is to sterilize the floor,roof and wall of the water tank by using laboratory certified branded strong oxidizing agent TERBAC 65 of M/S Ray's Claen tech or equivalent any non toxic bio-degradble eco-friendly anti-bacterial agent certified by a govt. approved laboratory to disinfect the over head tank from harmful pathogens. (h) Cleaning of external and internal surface,lid wall of the tank,structure for all scles and other particles any algae,hives and any type of vegetation or any other unwanted matters,scrapping of old paint and painting with two coats of cement based water proof apex paint complete all as directed. (j) A sticker of appropriate size and colour as directed by E-in-Charge and of non degradable material with printed details as under:- (i) CA No.(ii) Name of applicant (iii) Name of contrctor(iv) Columns for date of cleaning and expiry date will be written on tank. (k) Painting of angle iron ladder for OHT after scrapping of old paint by emery paper or any other means with two coats of enamelled black paint over a coat of red oxide primer incl arrangements of scrap folding/bamboo structure required for entire work. Note:- (i) All required safety equipments and necy insurance for safety of working satff to excuate the work is responsibility of the contractor.(ii) Lighting arrangments if required to be provided by the contractor temporaily at his own arregements and the amount quoted for that is deemed to be inclusive in the unit rate .(iii) Contractor will not be allowed more than one day to do the work inside the each OH Tanl/UG Sump to prevent interruption of water supply to the users. |
