Name of Work:- REPAIR/ RECARPETING OF ROADS, ROAD FURNITURES AT MD AND OTM ACCN AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS AT AOR OF AGE B/R- I UNDER GE SHILLONG
Sl. No. Item Description
1Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exceeding 400 sqm, depth exceeding 50 mm but not exceeding 100 mm complete all as specified and as directed.
2Repair to potholes any depth, not exceeding 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc., cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat at the rate of 5 kg per 10 Sqm, putting in bituminous macadam well rammed (including supply of bituminious carpet, binder and chhipping) and sealed with bitumen 9.8 kg per 10 sqm blinded with 0.09 cum stone chippings, 6.3 mm size depth of pot holes exc 30mm and rolled and compacted with power roller 8 to 12 tonnes to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed.
3M & L for 7.5 cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregates of granite, trap or basalt of grading 2 (63 to 45 mm size) or of grading 3 (53 to 22.4 mm size), spread, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with three wheel-power roller of 80 to 100 kN capacity or an equivalent vibratory roller complete all as specified and as directed.
4M & L except materials for 7.5 cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregates of granite, trap or basalt of grading 2 (63 to 45 mm size) or of grading 3 (53 to 22.4 mm size), spread, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with three wheel-power roller of 80 to 100 kN capacity or an equivalent vibratory roller complete all as specified and as directed.
5Rolling and consolidation of Water bound macadam (except laterite, kankar and broken brick aggregates) exc 100mm compacted thickness with 08 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed.
6Preparing unsurfaced water bound macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags or compressed air to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified and as directed.
7M & L for applying evenly a priming coat with bituminous primer (paving grade bitumen VG-10 grade) @ 10 kg per 10 sq metres complete all as specified and as directed.
8Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified and as directed.
9M&L for applying a tack coat of cationic bitumen emulsion (RS1) conforming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 0.20- 0.30kg/ sqm on bituminious surface as specified in Table- 500-3 of MoRTH specifications for road and bridge work 2013, using mechanical sprayer after cleaning of existing surface complete all as specified and directed .
10Material and labour for providing premixed bituminous macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using 8 to 10 tone capacity power roller (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using paving bitumen (VG 30 Grade) @ 4% by weight of total mix complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) The exact bitumen content required shall be determined Mix Design procedure and approved by GE. The adjustment in rate on MINUS side variation in quantity of bitumen if any shall be priced at the rate of ₹95 per kg. No claim whatsoever shall be made for adjustment in plus side. (ii) Bituminous macadam shall be laid using self propelled hydrostatic paver finisher and preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting the mix in tipper.
11Material and labour for bituminous premixed semi-dense asphaltic concrete, 40mm consolidated thickness using 5.5% paving bitumen (VG 30 Grade) binder content any penetration by weight of total mix, mixed in central computerized hot mix plant and laid using mechanical self propelled paver and rolled and compacted with 8 to 12 tonne power roller to uniform surfaces with required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed.Note:- Semi dense asphaltic bituminous concrete shall be designed as per design mix. Contractor shall quote his unit rate considering the bitumen contents as 5.5 %. Any variation in binder content on minus side shall be adjusted at the rate of ₹95.00 per KG of binder. No adjustment in price shall be made if the variation is on plus side.
12S&F in repair cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions complete all as specified and directed.
13M&L for preparation of new or previously treated surfaces to receive thermostatic paint and applying road marking with hot applied thermoplastic compound with reflectorizing glass beads on bituminious surface 2.50mm thick including reflectorizing glass beads @ 250gms/ sqm area as per IRC: 35- 1997 and finished the surface in proper level, uniform, free from steaks and holes complete all as specified and directed.
14S & F in repair metal tubular delineators (road way indicators) made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos of 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly power coated and thermo plastic elastomers 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strip with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedded 200 mm below ground level including excavation and PCC M15(Nominal Mix) (150x150x300mm) with using 20 mm graded stone aggregate in foundation and making good surface complete all as specified and as directed.
15Supply and fixing in repair ABS plastic PU material rubber speed bump black and yellow colour of size 500 mm X 350 mm X 74 mm with both side aluminium plated high reflective reflectors anti skid UV resistance moisture and temperature using anchor boolt and epoxy mortar grout complete all as specified and directed.
16S&F in repair traffic convex mirror of of 80cm dia having 130 degree viewing angle made of polycarbonate material , brim and back holding plate is made of metal/FRB along with pole mounted brackets and pole 60mm dia, min height 1.5m made with galvanised steel pipe (medium grade) duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer fixed to the ground by means of PCC 1:2:4 type B2 (using 40mm dia graded stone aggregate) in foundation/filling (size 50cmx50cmx60cm) all as specified and as and as directed.
17S&F in repairs stainless steel circular tube of 304 exterior grade quality in frame work of sign board welded vertical/ horizontally for 50mm outer dia of length 5.90mtr (outer vertical posts to hold inner framed structure)and 35mm outer dia of length 5.60mtr (for inner frame to hold 3mm thick ACP sheet) of stainless steel tube duly supported with each other (inner & outer frame) of 50mm outer dia of SS pipe incl top ends to be closed with flat stainless steel plate of equal dia and 15mm square pipe welded at the bottom on both side of post for anchoring Including aluminum composite panel (ACP) sheet of thickness not less than 3mm each sides and fixed with all around SS tube section of 15mmx30mm, face to be fully covered with high intensity encapsulated type heat activated retro reflective sheeting conforming to type - IV of ASTM-D 4956-01 in blue, red, yellow, green and silver white or other colour combination including subject matter, message (bi-lingual), symbols/logo designs and borders engraving/itching etc of any description as required complete in all respect as per IRC; 67:2001, pasted on substrate by an adhesive backing which shall be activated by applying heat and pressure conforming to class -2 of ASTM-D-4956-01 including excavation in post holes & embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (250x 250x 450mm) type B1 complete all as specified and directed.
